Customer service is horrible and cannot…

Customer service is horrible and cannot be depended on to do anything they say they will. They also now refuse to give credit Im due because I entered a dispute with my credit card company. On top of all that the clothes were horrible for use in the jungle in Africa. Got them because of heat issues but they dont hold up in areas where your clothes get torn at by the plants.

Very bad customer service

Very bad customer service. I have spent a couple grand on their gear. I recently ordered a pair of Northstar Glomitt mittens from them...on a Saturday...noticed I chose the wrong color, emailed them back 28 min later to change color (both in stock) Monday i get an email that said they cant change it, (order not fulfilled yet) they said i have to return the item, then order another one. they just made me a FirstLite customer for life. Kuiu sucks

Doesn’t stand behind their products

I spent over $100 on 2 boonie hats and the first on in the woods they snagged on everything causing pulls and holes. When I contacted them they told me I was out of luck. They don’t stand behind their products. Don’t buy from them.

Ordered online for delivery to…

Ordered online for delivery to Australia, I received a email saying delivered and I received nothing so I contacted KUIU and they said this was a glitch and sent me a tracking number. Weeks later that tracking number never worked. I contacted KUIU again twice and emails got ignored. I opened up a case with my bank and a case with fair trading Australia. Do not trust or buy from this scam company.

Very disappointing experience with the…

Very disappointing experience with the KUIU Attack Pant.

We are very experienced hunters and regularly operate in New Zealand bush conditions. This product was used under completely normal hunting use — moving through vegetation and natural terrain. However, as soon as the fabric came into contact with bush and scrub, it began to snag easily, with threads being pulled out and visible surface damage appearing very quickly.

This clearly indicates that the design and material are not suitable for bush hunting.

To be clear, this is not a user issue. We use multiple hunting brands under the same conditions, including well-known New Zealand brands such as Hunter’s Element and stoney creek .Under identical use, those products have not shown any of these problems. In contrast, the KUIU Attack Pant failed under the same level of use. This strongly points to a product quality issue.

If a product cannot withstand normal bush hunting conditions, then it is simply not fit for purpose. At the very least, it should not be advertised as hunting gear without clearly stating its limitations.

What is equally disappointing is the response after raising this concern. No meaningful support, resolution, or accountability was offered. Based on our experience, buyers should not expect a refund, credit, or exchange in situations like this.

If you are considering purchasing this product, think carefully. Based on real-world use, this is not gear we would trust in the bush.

Sharing this so other hunters can make a fully informed decision before purchasing.

I purchased coats for my son and…

I purchased coats for my son and husband for Christmas 2025, which were not cheap. After 1-2 months of normal wear, the coats have started piling which is a reflection of poor quality. I reached out to the company and was told that there is no warranty for them. Very disappointed and I would not recommend this company.

Bicomp Jacket - DO NOT BUY!

I ordered the Bicomp Jacket. I was very happy with the product until it all of a sudden started developing pilling where individual strands of the material started to pull out of the fabric. This jacket has only been worn around the house and town. It was never used in a rugged environment. I contacted KUIU and their response was canned and basically said too bad. They claimed their products are tested to endure in rugged environments, but that is clearly not the case with this product. I was disappointed by the lack of interest in addressing a clear design flaw in their product and lack of customer service, given the premium they charge for their products.

Wanted to order clothing today cause KUIU announces a 40% rebate. When I reached the checkout, noticed regular delivery cost $30!! Outrageous !!!! That’s how they offset the 40% rebate! Bad marketing! Delivery compagnies like Canada Post, DHL, Puro and many others are very cheap. Rip off!! Careful folks!!

I was recommended for Whitetail

I was recommended for Whitetail, hunting by one of their experts to buy proximity. I will give it that it was light weight, but it does not hold up to any briars. Needless to say the front of the pants tore up the bottom under my butt, probably from coming in and out of a ladder stand wore out showing nothing but the insulation probably a 2 inch hole. I wasn’t sure how they would handle it so I contacted customer service in hopes that they would help me get a more appropriate pair of kuiu pants. They denied my claim with no offer of any compensation of any kind, I probably would’ve bought a different pair of pants that would’ve held up better for my conditions which is Whitetail hunting. I will no longer be a customer of KUIU THE PRODUCT IS PRETTY GOOD. THE CUSTOMER SERVICE IS TERRIBLE.

Customer service is abominable

Customer service is abominable. Ordered an xl for a Christmas gift and received a Large. Contacted the company and despite it being THEIR error, they required us to return the wrong item before they would send the correct one. I was a little put out but did it. Over three weeks later we received the replacement item. Still the wrong size. I called to speak to a “customer service” rep and was told that they hadn’t “opened an investigation” previously, as if that were my fault. I was told again that they would only replace it after we sent the wrong one back. So twice I have had to package up the item, drive to the UPS store, and wait for someone in their organization to approve a replacement item, despite it being all their fault. I have seldom dealt with a company that had such terrible customer service. We have been longtime customers but will never buy or recommend their products again.

Pricing not upheld

I’ve always used KUIU gear and have been very happy with both the quality of the products and how quickly orders arrive. I’ve also had good experiences with customer service in the past.
Recently, I had several items in my cart for about a week, and one day all of them showed a 50% discount. When I attempted to check out, the prices reverted back to full price at the payment screen.
I contacted KUIU through their AI system and was told a representative would follow up to ensure I received the correct discount, but I never received an email. When I later called customer service, I was told they could not honor the price that was displayed.
This was disappointing, especially as a long-time customer. The situation felt mishandled, and I expected better communication and resolution.

Worst customer experience

I ordered a tent from Kuiu on October 25th. It’s now the end of December and it still hasn’t arrived.

Since ordering, Kuiu has launched two separate “investigations,” each supposedly taking 10–12 days. In both cases, they failed to follow up, provide a resolution, or even proactively contact me. I had to chase them each time just to get an update.

Now they’ve stopped responding altogether and have ignored my last two emails.

This has been an extremely frustrating experience and easily one of the worst customer service experiences I’ve had. At this point, I still don’t have the product or a clear explanation of what’s going on.

Two Wears, Two Weeks, Zero Accountability

I am extremely disappointed with both the quality of KUIU’s product and their warranty process.

I purchased the Super Down Haven Hooded Jacket, and less than two weeks from the purchase date, after wearing it only twice in a normal daily environment, it already showed fabric failure. This jacket was not abused, snagged, or subjected to any misuse. It was used exactly as intended. For a company that markets itself as a premium technical outerwear brand, this level of durability after such minimal use is unacceptable.

What’s worse is KUIU’s response. Despite providing photos and a clear explanation, customer service immediately dismissed the issue as “cosmetic” and blamed abrasion—without any meaningful investigation. This feels less like a warranty review and more like a scripted denial designed to avoid standing behind their product.

At this price point, customers are paying for quality, durability, and trust. KUIU failed on all three. If a jacket can’t survive two normal wears less than two weeks after purchase, and the company refuses to take responsibility, then the brand’s warranty is essentially meaningless.

Plenty of companies sell expensive gear. Very few hide behind fine print when their product fails almost immediately. Unfortunately, KUIU appears to be one of them.

I will not be purchasing from KUIU again and would strongly caution others who expect premium performance and accountability to look elsewhere.

Kuiu is not worth the money

Interesting that most reviewers agree with me. Kuiu used to be a top notch, premium company, but no more. I ordered a pair of pants—not cheap by any means. When you spend high end dollars, you expect quality. These pants were so thin and made with cheap craftsmanship that they looked like I had slept in them after wearing them for about an hour. The “service” department was totally unhelpful and would not take any sort of responsibility or display any desire to have a satisfied customer. Scratch them off the list.

Kuiu is the worst customer service…

Kuiu is the worst customer service experience I have ever had to deal with. I do not have a jacket for work or at home so I ordered a $800 jacket from them on the Veterans day sale. The package gets lost (not my fault). We do a claim through UPS and UPS rerouted the jacket back to KUIU. This has taken about 3 weeks already. So I reach out to KUIU to see what we can do. They were not willing to help at all. Nothing except me buy another jacket (which not at the discount anymore). Will not send out a replacement. NOTHING. I will not ever do business with a company that treates their customers like this. Your greed for a few dollars over doing the right thing has lost you my current and future business.
