I love all the resources Kyros has, and all the programs too

My experience with KYROS has been extremely helpful. Throughout 1:1 meetings, Ms. Hannah provided very practical suggestions on major/course selections, extracurriculars, and SAT study plans. She also shared well-organized documents of academic plans and answered questions insightfully. This allowed me to better understand my future goals as well as how to achieve them.

The counselors are really nice and always check up on me to see how I’m doing. They’re always pushing for me to do my best and have my best interests in mind.

I honestly cannot recommend Nate Trovar enough. Working with him through KYROS completely changed my college application experience.

He was the one who introduced me to NYU’s Liberal Studies program, which ended up being the perfect fit for me, and I’m so grateful he saw that path before I did. Throughout the entire process, Nate went above and beyond in every possible way. He was constantly checking in, making time for last-minute meetings, and always making me feel supported, even during the most stressful moments.

What really stood out was how invested he was in my success. He helped me prepare for interviews, gave thoughtful and detailed feedback, and pushed me to present the best version of myself while still staying authentic. It never felt like he was just doing his job, he genuinely cared.

I’m so excited to say that I was accepted into NYU for the Liberal Studies program, and I truly don’t think I would be here without Nate’s guidance and encouragement. I couldn’t be more thrilled, and I’m incredibly thankful for everything he did for me.

My child finds some of the sprint and future lab programs helpful. Our regular 1 on 1 SSM left. My child got reassigned to Nate and so far she likes working with him:) the reason why I’m not giving stars yet because my child just only got reassigned to a new SSM who she prefers working with so it’s like starting again and confusing for my family to understand the stressful college admissions process. Her previous counselor was ok but gave generic answers. So far my child has good rapport w Nate. Thank you Nate!

The experience was really great because it provided me with a lot of useful tools to get into college and prepare for it and helped me choose what I want to do with my future. It has a great system and helps me organize my preparations for college as well. The programs they provided along with the feedback were really helpful in guiding me throughout my college journey. Truly grateful for it!

We paid for a two-year program to support my son, but unfortunately, it hasn’t been very helpful. I think the system might work better for students who already have already know what they want to do. The instructions were often unclear, and the coaches didn’t know the students at all, any not sure they are even located. In our experience, it was completely useless. Please dont waste your money on this system.

I feel so grateful for buying Kyros membership. Their team provides clear guidance, personalized support, and a structured approach that makes what can feel like an overwhelming process much more manageable. They also create a supportive and motivating environment that helps me grow in confidence while achieving my academic goals. I highly recommend Kyros to any family looking for expert college counseling.

Kyros was very helpful through my admissions process, providing information regarding scholarships, editors, and other opportunities. My SSM Kiki thoughtfully guided me through the entire process, and I would definitely recommend Kyros to other high schoolers.

Feedback on Kyros Service
In the past two years, Kyros has been a great help for my son’s high school journey. The platform is very organized and provides clear information for 9-11th graders, which really helps reduce our stress as parents. We also want to thank our SSM, KiKi Y, for all the support and professional help so far.

While the platform has so many resources, we’ve realized that how much a student gets out of it really depends on their own initiative and exploration. As my son is now moving into the most critical 11th and 12th grade application season, we are hoping for more direct and deeper support in these areas:

More Meeting Time: The current 30-minute limit feels very rushed. When we are discussing important plans, the countdown makes us feel anxious. We hope to have longer sessions so we can talk through everything thoroughly.

Counselor and Essay Teacher Collaboration: For college lists and essays, we really hope to see the Counselor and Essay Coach work together as a team to guide my son. It would be much better to have a combined, one-stop plan.

Special 12th Grade Package: To make sure everything goes smoothly during the application season, we are willing to buy a special 12th-grade package for more intensive and personalized guidance.

Very helpful, expert staff

Jill was very helpful in helping me figure out what to do over the summer and how to plan my upcoming school year! She even was kind enough to do some research for summer programs and recommended how I can further my process into using my time wisely.

Its very helpful that my counsellor is always suggesting internships or other programs that help out my college resume. The program is pretty easy to use, it's been easy and organized.

The counselors are very attentive to each student and make sure to regularly keep up or check in with them :)

My daughter has been using Kyros for the past three years, and it has helped her tremendously. Kyros consistently provides the right guidance at each stage of high school—from course selection to choosing and applying for summer programs. Through Kyros, she joined the Scholastic Writing Competition workshop, the Summer Impact Program, SAT preparation, and several other programs. She is also about to start the John Locke workshop because writing is her passion. What matters most is that Kyros offers a strong, well-organized platform where students can access reliable information for high school planning and college applications. My daughter can easily join workshops and connect with counselors who specialize in specific areas, which has made the process much clearer and more manageable.
