Absolutely brilliant well organised festival with abit of something for everyone. We drive all the way from Sheffield every year to attend and it never fails. It gets better year on year and fun for all the family.

Fabulous location, well organised and loads of fun activities to do for all the family. Great music and atmosphere - looking forward to going again.

Great family festival with great lineups and fantastic facilities. Spent a lot of time at the main stage which isn’t to crowded so great for children. Spent alot of time in the dance tent reliving my 20’s clubbing era, paid for it everyday with aching bones. Would definitely go again.

Just booked again for 2026. Went last year with the family, first festival with the kids. Bit hesitant as we were worried the kids would get bored during the day.

There was no issue though as there was plenty to do in the day for the kids and some of the acts were brilliant. Busted absolutely rocked the place, kids slept very well after that one!

Camping pitch was allocated so it was a breeze getting setup and our neighbours for the weekend were a great laugh.

Decent showers, got busy around 9, straight in at 8 though. Toilets by festival standards were great as there was always a loo roll and antibac in them.

Loads of food outlets, kids loved the fresh pizza and I loved the fresh coffee from the van by the VIP tent. Drinks prices were reasonable and good quality.

Roll on August when we can do it all again.

Amazing location, great choice of bands and other entertainment, the atmosphere is fantastic and worth the money for the whole experience. See you in 2026!

Great venue, awesome people

Lakefest is an amazing festival. Everyone seems so happy, the staff, the festival goers all join in for a good time. Never seen any trouble whilst there. Also, there’s so many extra activities to keep you entertained so it’s amazing value. I’ll definitely be going again.

After hearing about it for a couple of years, I managed to visit in 2025, and was happily shocked on how big and well organised it was, good music options with entertainment for all ages of the family.

I was only able to stay for one day last visit, but planning for three days this time , Looking forward to 2026, I hear it’s going to be epic

Awful organisation of what should be a fantastic festival experience
Facilities on camp sites were totally inadequate with a lack of basic amenities such as clean potable & hot water & unclean toilet & showers throughout the weekend
Completely spoiled the experience & when this has been raised with the organisers they do not care
They just want to take your money
Avoid!!!

Went to Lake Fest on Thursday with my son after buying a day ticket, only to find nothing started until 5pm. We spent hours with barely any food, activities, or entertainment — not exactly the family-friendly experience we expected. Really disappointed with the lack of clear info or response to email / via website etc.

Organisation was a farce. Told to arrive by a certain time for staff.... get there then given the run around for 7 and half hours trying to locate a wristband.... nobody knew what was going on, where folks should be, what time they should be there, and willing to help.... pah..... the most unhelpful people ever, from stewards, to organisers,to "so called" security..... shambolic!!!
No hot water for showers on the Wednesday.... Wednesday is for staff.. people working, the weather was really hot..... people need to have a working shower!!
Opening times put back by hours with no word from organisers.... Just chinese whispers around the camp sites, because again.... nobody seems to know anything.... leaving people that had paid for a day tickets nothing else to do but ha.g around a campsite when they don't even have a camp..... was so wrong.....!!!
Girls on day tickets were being let in by "security" not checking bands.... the one girl didn't knkw where to pick her band up, was let in, told not to worry about it, then after she came back to her friends camp, she was refused entry again but with no information that would help her track down her wristband!!!
Another young (14/15) year old girl, really drunk, hadfallen andcut herself, needed2 friends to hold her up and the "security" just looked at her and pointed too and sent her to a burger van help...... really???? He didn't even take his feet off the shelf or take his hood down.
The amount of free flowing snorting that was going on, braid day light, kids everywhere, just snorting off your hands in the .ain't arena.... disgusting.
Also disgusting.... the showers...... not cleaned once the whole time..... I used the same one everything and by the lastnight my cubicles gained, 1 sick, 1paif of boxers, 2 pairs of pants and a sanitary towel.... delightful.
When the arena empties, why hell does "security" not follow the masses back to the camp sites??? The last folks in there,the most intoxicated, all head to the same place at the same time and left to crack on abusing folks as they are trying to get their head down...... pushing each other into tents, throwing things into tents "metal with a 4 month old baby inside" I heard at one point.
Sound quality was just awful, itinerary needs some serious work with decent acts being played at the same time.... band time changes made without any sort of communication so you'd get to your favourite band, what you thought was early, only to find you've missed an hour of it!!
Card only...... in a valley with no signal......yeah... great idea that was!!!

If your interested in bringing the whole family look no further… safe for kids of ALL ages… loads to do and see
Lakefest is just family fun and the sort of place you can just let the kids do their own thing… great bands, staff, DJ’s, music, camping
This festival is getting better each year, just can’t recommend enough.
The staff are second to none!

Cashless system a blueprint for fraud, failed to respond to emails. Won't go again.

We attended the festival for the first time this year and enjoyed the music and laidback vibe. However a couple of fairly important things occurred which made us feel a bit concerned.

The first thing was the toilets on tge campsite. One set of approximately 30 portaloos for the entire site!
Who thought that 30 loos for so many people would be enough?
People were forming constant lines of about 80 people every morning and afternoon.

The second thing was the cashless system. As I have previously been ripped off by similar systems I requested receipts from the first view vendors to used only to be told that the receipt system wasn’t working and no receipts could be issued but I could check my purchase online.
Obviously there was no Wi-Fi available until I returned home on Monday and upon checking my bank account, I found that the purchases were listed. However, they were all shown as “Lakefest” rather than the individual vendors so there is no way of checking that the purchase was genuine.
Because of the above We are debating whether we will return next year !

Definitely don’t go! Organisation is a joke and there customer service is so bad, we tried to get a refund before the start of the festival due to having a baby, I’m talking 2 months out, pretty of time for them to resell however that wasn’t an option at all! In today’s climate that’s a joke! Wasn’t like I just changed my mind!

We attended festival in August 2022. A member of staff stole £50 from us at the top up stand. It was a complete joke, communication has been terrible. They finally replied and have refunded £50 yesterday and tried to offer a free ticket for next year but you literally couldn’t pay me to go again. It’s advertised as family friendly and safe but I felt anxious for the safety of my children a lot! We arrived on Wednesday and paid extra but nothing was open until Thursday night, no food or entertainment whatsoever. I asked for a refund for the Wednesday but the guy was a complete a*sehole and said it cost millions to put the festival on and he wouldn’t refund it. Worst organisation I’ve ever experienced.
