‘Life on Ice’ was recommended by our fertility clinic and I understand why because of their great service with care. We were nervous to transfer our precious embryos to a new clinic, but the transfer went perfectly smoothly and without any problems thanks to their professional care.

Without going into too much detail, we had an absolute nightmare with the clinic we were transferring away from and, if they had dealt with us in the way you have in the short period of time in which we've needed to be engaged with you, I think we would have had a much more positive outlook on the whole experience.

So, in short, thank you for not only delivering our precious cargo so smoothly, but also for recognising how important it us to us. The whole process has been effortless in the context of a very stressful situation.

I had Bob deliver my sample from Scotland to France. From the first email he was very much on top of the organisation and very easy to deal with. The hospital were very happy with the sample they received too. Considering it was an international transfer and a fairly specialist courier, I thought the price was reasonable too. All in all a 5 star service and would definitely recommend life on ice.

We contacted Life on Ice on the recommendation of our fertility clinic. Bob was incredibly friendly throughout and made a special effort to keep us updated throughout every step of the process. The transfer from London to Manchester went perfectly smoothly and without any hassle thanks to their efforts. They provided a great service throughout and we would thoroughly recommend Life on Ice to anyone needing transportation services for their IVF.

We contacted bob from life on ice very last minute. Our clinic were allowing us to use their carrier and move our embryos ourselves and a couple of days before we were informed that there was a problem with the carrier. I contacted life on ice as it had been recommended twice to me, I was emailed back within 5 minutes. Not only did bob immediately get back to me, he was also able to fit us in in very short notice so we didn’t have to spend weeks waiting to have our embryos moved after already spending months waiting for the clinics to have everything prepared for the transport.
I was regularly informed about what was happening and the best part for me was that bob dealt with everything. I could take a step back and leave him with the transport and dealing with both clinics. Life on ice and bob specifically made a very stressful and worrying situation go effortlessly and with ease. Hopefully I won’t have to use transport for my embryos again, but if I did I would 100% be returning to life on ice. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Fantastic and friendly service.

From my initial request for a quote, 'Life on Ice' was the only company that sent a personalised mail, giving a full overview of their service. I reached out to understand more about the process and Bob spent over 40 minutes on a Saturday morning, explaining everything and taking time to reassure me. Every step of the way, Bob provided me with updates. Through a very stressful time, Bob was responsive and helpful. It is really wonderful dealing with someone who takes time and care and understands how stressful a time this can be and is on hand to help. Wonderful Bob, wonderful company.

We used the service to transport some straws from Manchester to Edinburgh. From the get go the company felt professional and understanding to the position I was in. This position being of no knowledge at all of what was needed. They informed me of step by step instructions of what they would do, what I needed to do and all the things in between. I felt much more confident that they knew what they were doing and would be successful. I was very pleased when I got their text message saying that the delivery was complete and successful. Once I gave my consent, they were incredibly fast. I hear stories of all the paper work to sign and delays in every section for ivf. This part was slick. Would definately hire them again if needed. Keep up the great work.

Our communication with Life on Ice was brilliant from start to finish. Bob was with us every step of the way and organised everything directly with the two clinics involved. He was very reassuring, and updated us regularly as to what was going on. I wouldn’t hesitate in recommending Life on Ice - efficient, communicative and reasonably priced. Excellent service from a reliable and trustworthy company. Bob is personable and professional, keeping us in the loop on every communication with the clinics (even when both clinics took about a hundred years to do the ‘paperwork’!?).
My only slight hesitancy when booking the move was that there was no insurance offered in the event that something did go wrong (well they offer £1000 if the transportation vessel goes above a certain temperature, but that wouldn’t even scratch the surface of the costs of starting again with donor egg ivf), but Bob explained the process of moving them in great detail and assured me that the margin for error was very very small. I needn’t have worried as the move went without a glitch, and our 2 remaining embryos are now safely tucked in at the clinic in Edinburgh. Would definitely use Life on Ice again (although hopefully we won’t need to!)

Had to use this service after a sudden cancer diagnosis messed up our future plans.

Bob and the company were quick to reply with costs and info.

And being the only recommended courier based in Scotland was a key factor. They have had plenty dealings with the Scottish hospital's and clinics.

Once things were agreed all the work took place behind the scenes and just had to wait for a message to say the transit went as planned.

I had excellent communication with Bob from the first email through to his text to confirm successful delivery. Very competitive price but with the added peace of mind that they have an embryologist on the team. My experience was wholly positive and felt much more personal than the service some of the other couriers could offer. I wouldn't hesitate in recommending them!
