This company are greedy people,I trusted these,they said the van I bought had a 72 point mechanics check as soon as I got it home the water pump is broken. Now after 5 months I have no van the engines broke and no one wants to no,there is a reason why AA won’t use these and that’s because there criminals. DO NOT USE THIS GARAGE THEY LIE AND VERY DISHONEST.

Warning — Avoid this dealership at all costs!
Be extremely careful when dealing with these people. I paid a deposit without being told whether it was refundable or not, and after checking, I realised there was no document signed by me and no test drive done. I cancelled the purchase within a few hours on the same day — yet they are refusing to return my money.

After doing some research, I found many negative reviews describing the same tactics. It seems they make a living by taking deposits from customers without giving clear information and then refusing refunds. Totally unprofessional and unethical behaviour. Save yourself the stress and go to a reputable car dealer instead.

Avoid this company and do not place deposits!!!! The deposits are not refundable!!! The vehicle was not advertised correctly and when I stated this or asked them to confirm details messages weren’t responded too! Opened a case with my credit card company!
And before you respond saying you have full recordings etc etc…. So do I, all evidence submitted for the case review!

Tried to rip us off with a car not as described. We left a deposit and were then told when collecting the car it only had one key, asked for our money back as had enough of this incompetent place by then and the unhelpful and rude manager came out and said we couldnt have the deposit back (£500) Bunch of con artist, beware they do not care and will rip you off… you have been warned! Ignore their response… they are covering what was clearly awful customer experience by an unprofessional team who dealt with everything very very poorly and never said the deposit was not refundable and also never stated the car had only 1 key until the day of collection. You have been warned stay away!!!

We purchased our golf around 6 months ago and had lights flashing on dash when picked up we took the car as they said they would provide a courtesy car once back to fix this problem but still waiting for them to provide this also car was sold with needing new brakes.. everytime we call get fobbed off with another excuse terrible service and would not buy a car from these again

Part exchanged my car for Volvo on 18/7/25 was told by sales person that they will take v5 log book as they do all on line as dealer. We lost a months road tax as they did not notify DVLA before 1st Aug. They had plenty of time to notify dvla. Contact after sales and they keep saying sales person will call me back and he doesn’t. Being fobbed off again ! Just be aware keep your v5
And send it off yourselves, otherwise you may loose out. Like I did !

STAY AWAY FROM LMC
I purchased a car from this dealership in 2022, only to discover shortly after that it had been badly repaired and was unsafe to drive. Thankfully, I found the issue quickly, but their after-sales service was appalling. Most of my dealings were with their manager, who was often rude and unprofessional. On multiple occasions, he tried to blame me for the car’s condition, and for months he led me to believe he was arranging collection for repairs — which clearly never happened. In the end, the matter went to court, where they were ordered to pay one and a half times the amount I had originally sought.
This whole ordeal was stressful and disappointing, and I would strongly advise avoiding this dealership.

AWFUL AFTER SERVICE

I mean reading the other reviews, this is clearly an ongoing issue and disappointing experience with LMC cars. My car was sold to me with a flat spare tyre in the boot and the fuse box under the bonnet was missing the cover... I contacted them on so many occasions to get this sorted and eventually, they just ignored me altogether.

Terrible customer service and after-sale.
As others have mentioned, purchased a vehicle (Audi A3) and after the first car wash damage was revealed to the paintwork all along the side of the car. Much worse than just a scratch, clearly filled by LMC Cars (awful job) and covered up. Once I contacted them they didn't want to know and were not prepared to come to a resolution, unacceptable. Mentioned during the sale that we thought the side of the car had been sprayed and effectively shrugged their shoulders. Now taking up with the small claims court.
Customer service is very pushy. Asked why I couldn't just make the purchase on the first day of viewing. Didn't even sit down in the car once purchased to go over features etc.
Allowed me to drive out of the yard with the car still in mobility - could have led to a fine. Again, unacceptable and unprofessional.
No issues with the car itself, how it drives etc. otherwise very happy - it is just disappointing that the damage was clearly covered up. Misled the customer, false advertising.
Avoid using LMC Cars or take a professional with you to give the car a once over before you purchase.

Staff are ready to help always. Easy to talk to and welcoming with a nice coffee.

I had a really positive experience when purchasing my car with Paul at LMC cars and will not hesitate to use them again in the future

I bought a car just over a month ago and soon discovered the brakes needed replacing — something that should have been sorted before the sale. I contacted LMC to raise the issue and was told to bring the car in. They checked and claimed the brakes were fine. However, after getting a second opinion, I was told they were not safe and needed replacing immediately for the safety of my children.

To make matters worse, I’ve since reached out to LMC several times and haven’t received any response. I’m extremely disappointed — not only were we left with an unsafe vehicle, but also out of pocket for something that shouldn’t have been our responsibility.

Poor after-sales care and a serious safety oversight.

This Mercedes is not ULEZ compliant S3PPF.

Are you serious? I used the ULEZ compatibility search on your webpage and found two vehicles that are not ULEZ compliant. How do you source your information? People often rely on your details when making a purchase, and it puts them in a difficult situation. I am now walking away from your services.

I understand that receiving negative feedback can be challenging. However, I wanted to bring to your attention that I was recently in your yard near Upminster and spoke with your staff, and from the system he mentioned that vehicles for me.

During a thorough vehicle check, I found that both vehicles are classified as 5b and are not compatible with ULEZ regulations.

I was also informed that these vehicles have just arrived and need to be prepared for the showroom.
You must have a special TFL web to magically convert 6 to 5.

This was the 2nd time we bought a KIA from LMC. It was a pleasure dealing with Mo again. He was exceptional as before and went above and beyond to get everything ready including having new brake discs and pads installed.
Paul was also very helpful with facilitating the completion of the transaction and made the whole process very smooth. I would highly recommend LMC again as they are a trusted dealership with cars at good price.

The worst decision I’ve ever made was buying the car from them. At the time of purchase, I was told that everything was covered by a 3-year extended warranty and that if I had any issues with the car, I should go directly to them. It’s been almost three months since I started having problems with the car, and they told me they have nothing to do with my warranty and that I should contact another company. At the time of purchase, I only received the invoice and nothing more — I was never told about another company, and they don’t do anything for your car. Their only interest is to take your money, especially if you pay cash, like I did. You’re better off buying elsewhere than dealing with problems later and them doing absolutely nothing about it.

Terrible experience, I bought a car and they make a mistake with the documents on dvla, they didn't answer for 3 weeks and the answer was the same" I will call you back ". They don't do any services on the cars, avoid as possible..
