Been with them for a few years, but service has gone downhill lately. 40+ minute wait to get through on phone, no answer to emails, problem not solved but money taken from bank! So, sadly, mark and avoid.

Website is terrible - can't activate my SIM, they haven't sent me a link to set up a password, don't know the new number.....Have emailed several times.... what a nightmare!!! and when i called them he didn't speak English!!

That's where the craziness started: long wait times when calling; being told SIM has definitely been sent out (it had not); even called yet again to double check... "it has definitely been sent out and has arrived at the address provided." When I arrived in Spain from the UK, low and behold, no parcel with my SIM!!!! Why would you be this incompetent, not that difficult surely? Shame, really, in this day and age. GET YOUR CUSTOMER SERVICE AND WEBSITE UP TO PAR AND YOU'LL GET MORE STARS!

Brilliant in getting you onboard for Broadband but dreadful Customer Service when faced with a problem. Three weeks in and I'm still waiting for my issue to be resolved and have been told a number of times it would be fixed when it wasn't even logged on the system for technician to visit..

Customer service is dreadful. Every time I try to park and Unpark my SIM card I have issues every time. The company has taken €25.00 from my account and it’s still saying that the SIM card has expired and they want another €25.00 to reactivate it. I’ve emailed customer service so many times that I’ve lost count. When I finally did get a reply to my email they said that my SIM card is now parked. When I went on to the website and app, guess what still EXPIRED and still want €25.00 to reactivate it.
STAY AWAY FROM LOBSTER.
If I get a positive outcome I’ll let you know.
I got my refund today. I just wish the company would improve their communications with me.
But my account is still showing as expired.
UPDATE.
Received an email from Lobster 22/04/2026.
Your SIM card has now been parked. Guess what? I go to their app/website, it’s showing my account is still active and due to expire on the 27/04/2026. So I’ve wasted another €24.00. Whilst I’m in the U.K. I’m going to get my debit card issuers to deal with this.

I returned to Spain after 2 months abroad. Wanted to unpark my number. But it was not possible due to a system failure I was told. That can happen!
I’ve been a client of Lobster since 2019. Never had any problem. After the weekend the problem was solved and I can use my phone again. Thanks Lobster Team.

Cannot restart my plan on my app that expires at the end of today. Having been calling the support line for around 1 hour, no answer, no place in queue information, most times they cut me off.

Honestly very disappointed.
It’s been 3 days now that I’ve been trying to contact you by email regarding my connection issue, and I still haven’t received any response. This is unacceptable, especially for such an essential service.
I’m currently without internet due to a payment issue that I’m ready to resolve as soon as possible, but without any reply from your side, I can’t move forward.
If someone finally gets back to me and helps resolve this situation, I’ll be willing to update and remove this review.
Looking forward to a quick response…

Please be aware of this company. They are scamming money from accounts. Taking money by “mistake” promising to replace the “mistake” within 48 hours. However the money replaced never equals the money stolen, therefore leaving you out of pocket.
Whence you ring to complain they continually cut you off. Be Warned

Unfortunately- whilst they claim to have great internet packages if they don’t work and customer services is overwhelmed with unhappy customers - then what is the point of staying with them. No one takes ownership and our calls in which we wait over an hour to speak to someone just get sent to another team ‘the fibre team’. Been like this for over a week now - cannot work due to lack of internet, printer, security cameras and TV all out of action. Each time you are on the phone waiting you cannot use your phone so more time wasted out the day. I’m going to cancel and find a better company - fingers crossed!

Het opzeggen is heel omslachtig en het terugsturen van de router een drama. Geen communicatie wel een borg inhouden. Inmiddels is de router al een meer dan in week terug maar tot nu toe geen bericht gehad dat de router is ontvangen en dat de borg wordt teruggestort. Voor mij een reden om niet meer terug te keren als klant. Inmiddels is de zaak opgelost. Ik hoop dat Lobster hun retour zending 's proces gaan updaten en verbeteren,

I haven't had an internet connection on my mobile phone for five days. I immediately sent an email to customer service, which has remained unanswered to this day. When I called on the fifth day, the call was simply cut off mid-conversation.

I've been a Lobster customer since 2021. On Saturday 28th March, I rang the customer services number on 711. I was kept on hold for 45 minutes without anyone speaking to me. On Monday 30th, I tried again and gave up after 30 minutes on hold. Via the Lobster website, I requested Lobster to call me, without any positive result, so I sent an email on Monday afternoon to help@lobster. On receiving no reply, I forwarded the same email on Tuesday afternoon to hello@lobster. It's now Saturday 4th April and I've still received no contact from Lobster,

I recommended someone to lobster and the other person and me should have received a reward. Guess what. We didn't! I rang and after waiting 25 minutes got answered by someone who didn't seem interested. I was left hanging for at least 5 minutes with no word while lobster looked into it. Then i was told I can't find it on the system I'll ring you back. Guess what, yeah she didn't. So my recommendation cancelled payment and they want to know why. Try customer service. I'd cancel mine to if I could be bothered.

This provider may be in English but their customer service is rubbish as they never answer their phone and do not respond to emails either ! A hopeless company. I have been waiting for a PAC code for 24hrs and they just don’t respond. My advice do not use this provider.

Wasted a lot of my time. Still waiting fibre broadband for 4 days. 45 mins to get through to some one. Last straw today. Called to speak to supervisor or manager to complain. After a wait they said no one was avaiable to to email them. Said can you arrange call back they said they would. 24 hours later no call back or installation of broadband!!!. Wonder what would happen after fibre install. Have all ready took money in advanced and still not received sim. Just one big jike

I have been waiting for 5 days to pay for my service. I have spent an age calling the none existent "customer service" on 711 without an answer. I have sent something like a dozen messages on Facebook Messenger, the app doesn't work and when I try to log in via the web site it just goes to a blank page. Rumours are now circulating that Lobster are going bust which is why they have begun ignoring messages and don't answer the 711 "customer service" line. Be careful people as it's not looking good.
EDIT: March 27th 2026:16:21 - just spent 28 minutes waiting for them to answer the phone then just got cut off.
Edit: March 28th 2026:17:03 - still no contact from Lobster despite all of the promises. A friend contacted me a coupe hours ago saying she had received an email from Lobster telling her to delete her existing app and go to the play store and install the new one. This she did only to be informed that Lobsters new app isn't compatible with her 6 month old mobile. Can it possibly get any worse. Sheer unadulterated incompetence.

Normally we do not have enough issues with Lobster, but we are trying to unpack our sims, I am in the fourth day phoning and emailing, with no reply to either, have taken 4 payments when the cards still had credit left on them. Very very Disappointing, all caused by there network upgrade..

Worst experience with a Mobile service provider in my life. Was roaming in Germany and ran out of data, when called to arrange an upgrade of the plan was left without service (no calls, internet)for a week abroad albeit charged for the upgrade. Support hung up on me twice and I am yet to receive any acknowledgment, response, solution after two weeks!
