I would recommend Lucra Mortgages to anyone, and I will definitely use them again in the future. From the beginning, Darren was incredibly helpful making sure I had a good understanding of the entire process and was very patient until I found the right property. Once I made an offer, Darren moved really quickly to make sure I could secure the current rates (a rise by the Bank of England was imminent). My case was a bit tricky and Darren made sure that we had all the required documents in advance, even before the Bank requested them, and worked really hard to get me the mortgage offer confirmed even when the bank was being difficult. Excellent service from start to finish!

My friends used Lucra Mortgages for their first home and were very happy so I decided also to go with them and now I am happy as well! Asked some other brokers before and thought I couldn't get any better mortgage options until Matt from Lucra Mortgages found a much much better deal! Thank you very much Matt and thank you Isabella for frequent updates on the progress. Also thank you both for your patience and clarifying every little detail that was confusing or unknown for the first time buyer!

Lucra Mortgages is just fantastic. I have had Ben sort my mortgage over the years so trust this company would do the best. I was so worried when I was remortgage and came across a few obstacles but Tim Sayers was so helpful. He is so efficient, polite, responsive and knowledgable. He seemed to understand how I was feeling when I had some trouble and helped me secure a good deal. He would even proactively come back to me once a better rate came along and secured the rate instantly. He seemed kind and answered any questions I had no matter what.

I always referred my friends because I think they really are the best brokers around.

It took us a year to purchase our first home and during that time we had some complicating factor such as my pregnancy and maternity leave. Darren was referred to me by a neighbour and he has brought me an exceptional service from start to finish. I reached out to Darren in November 2022 which was c. 7 months before I hit the 5th anniversary of my Help To Buy Loan and the expiration of my fixed term mortgage. When I first approached Darren, I was pretty clueless about what was right for me both in terms of how to structure the repayment as well as what mortgage was right for me. Over this period, he was super attentive to my very detailed (and many!) questions and it felt like I was getting more than just a mortgage broker service. He was very happy to review and talk through my thought process and help me make the right decision out of many options. He educated me throughout by clearly explaining everything in jargon free language to made it all very simple. Being fairly busy, it was important that I could keep some structure and communicate in a way that worked for me and he was extremely accommodating to this. We would have periodic Teams calls in the diary to ensure he was kept up to date on my case and he always replied to all my emails within the day, even when I sent them on the weekend. Darren also helped me find my solicitor and kept abreast with everything that was going on in parallel to support me through this. He really was my right hand man and support throughout this whole process which was one that did intimidate me and I was dreading before I found him. A true professional and I have no fear at all about when I next renew or look to purchase a new house as working with him was an absolute pleasure. One of the best services I have received or observed in a long time!

the Lucra team were very helpful as this was our first time buy, so we really had no idea what we were doing, we mainly dealt with Darren, but if we called or messaged them, everyone there was just as helpful and sorted out any information we need, or explained something we didn't understand!
There was a little hoo haa with the lawyers, but one quick message to Lucra and they got straight onto them to get it sorted out for us as well.

Polite, professional, very helpful, all in all a great experience for our first property sale.
