Very straightforward and easy experience.
I dealt with Kate and she made the experience so easy. After a discussion on the phone, mostly everything else was done via text and email and was really straightforward.

Very quick and unitrusive process,a special shout out to Sep for sourcing exactly what I needed at a budget that was cheaper than I anticipated 👍, and to Louise from the handover team, lovely people and an absolute pleasure to deal with, thanks again for your time and effort

My overall experience with Luv Cars has been nothing short of horrible. What should have been an exciting and relatively straightforward process became three weeks of constant frustration, poor communication, conflicting information and, ultimately, an unexpected £1,000 deposit that I had never been made aware I would have to pay.

I was initially dealt with by a gentleman called Kyle, who I want to be fair to. He was extremely friendly and professional and genuinely seemed as though he was trying to help me.

I was told that my finance application had been approved, which I was delighted about. Kyle then helped me search for a vehicle, we found several good options, and once I made my selection I was under the impression that everything was ready to proceed.

Unfortunately, that was where the problems began.

I was given the impression that Luv Cars had been communicating with the dealership. From my subsequent conversations with the dealer, this did not appear to be the case. I was also given information regarding payments/funds that did not match what the dealership was telling me.

I somehow ended up acting as the middleman between the lender, Luv Cars and the dealership, trying to coordinate viewings, payments and eventually delivery myself.

After approximately THREE WEEKS of constant disappointment and chasing, the vehicle I had selected was sold to somebody else.

Naturally, I contacted the dealership directly to find out how this had happened. I was told that no deposit had been taken and the funds had not been paid. This was extremely frustrating given the information I believed I had been receiving throughout the process.

The dealership subsequently contacted me to say that the vehicle had become available again and that I could have it. I immediately contacted Luv Cars.

What followed was yet more confusion, conflicting information and chasing.

Eventually, I received the car yesterday evening. You would think that would finally be the end of the nightmare.

It wasn’t.

When the vehicle was delivered, I was informed by the DEALERSHIP that there was a £1,000 deposit outstanding for ME to pay.

At no stage throughout this entire process do I recall being clearly informed that I would personally be responsible for paying a £1,000 deposit.

How can something as significant as a £1,000 payment only become apparent to a customer when the vehicle is effectively being delivered?

I have requested the relevant call recordings because I want to establish exactly what was communicated to me regarding this deposit. At the time of writing this review, these recordings have still not been provided.

I also spoke to a manager and was told that they would contact me to explain what was happening regarding the deposit. Unfortunately, I’m STILL chasing them.

This sums up my experience perfectly.

I have been passed between multiple people and departments. I’ve been told one department is closed while another cannot deal with the issue. Notes are supposedly left on the account but then seemingly aren’t acted upon. People sound polite and friendly on the telephone, but friendliness means very little when it isn’t followed by action.

The only positive thing I can say about Luv Cars is that they managed to get my finance approved.

Beyond that, doing business with them has genuinely been one of the biggest mistakes I have made as a consumer.

I am now left feeling completely misled over a £1,000 financial commitment that I believe should have been made absolutely clear BEFORE I agreed to proceed with the vehicle.

If Luv Cars believe that this deposit was properly disclosed to me, then I would welcome them providing the call recordings I have requested showing exactly when I was informed that I personally had to pay it.

Until this matter is properly investigated and resolved, I cannot recommend Luv Cars based on my experience.

A finance approval means very little if the customer service, communication and transparency that follow it leave the customer feeling like this.

Luv cars was amazing. I’ve got the car on a record time the nice car and also I’m I appreciate it all of you guys there. Thank you again. Don’t hesitate all the people to choose the luv car

The team that I dealt with were very good at there job Dan was the main person who tried over 3 4 days to get me in to a new cat and worked hard in the background and it was a pleasure working with them on getting me a vehicle so thank you very much

Polite staff non pushy but happy to help always. A rapid and painless experience.

Luvcarloans are good and got me a nice car,,, there homework on where they get it from could do with upgrading. I ended up with a missold car that went back after months of stress. They mean well though and did talk to me on the phone alot to try and sort things out and I had emails back and for also. I was new to it all and if I was to get an other car in future I would do my own homework so this didn't happen again. I thank everyone for their time

All staff made the whole experience easier and smooth no worries with it all.

From start to finish on the finance sourcing the vehicle LUV cars where exceptional.

Did an online quote, apparently I've been "approved" for finance. Then follows countless calls per day from different 0161 numbers.

I eventually answered and explained that I was working and could they call back - "it only takes 2 minutes to speak to our expert who can then help you search for cars", said again that I'm working and I can't do it now, "we just need to speak to you now via our expert who can search for a car for you", explained again that I was working and I can't be discussing it.

I asked if they could text, email, or give me the figure I was "approved" for, told no unless I speak to an 'expert'.

Avoid - won't tell you how much you can get finance for and just spam you silly.
