Our recent trip to Peru in July exceeded our expectations. The trip was flawless and we even got upgrades to suites for free. We had a lot location changes and travel across the country, and it all went perfect. They were very personal and even took the time to walk us into airports and get us through the ticketing process. Our tour was very well organized. Other than a small hiccup with a new driver on our initial airport pick up, everything went precisely on schedule. The caliber of the guides provided was outstanding. Very knowledgeable, excellent English, well organized and nice. I especially want to note the tour organizer, Diana as being excellent and very adaptive to client needs.

I travel constantly and I have to say that o usually don’t book tours. But I did for this trip and it was my best decision. Everything was on time and exactly or better than advertised. I only wish we had done the overnight in auqua calliente but just a minor deviation

Great trip, well organized and excellent in every way. The explanations of what to expect was well done. Only wish we had had 2 more days in Cusco before we went up to Machu Picchu. It would have been easier on our breathing.

Maybe it was my most luxurious travel. Paying everything in advance without meeting anybody from the company was strange and risky but everything was fine at the end and even better. I wish to use a travel company like this everywhere in the world.

We booked 5 nights custom trip including Cusco, Lima, Sacred Valley, Maccu Picchu, Cusco. I selected the rout and hotels before contacted the rep. I had 3 choices of agencies to book with. We went with Dave ( LTP), because he offered his personal WhatApp number and was available for questions on the app. That was the plus. All hotels were fantastic, as we booked Belmond hotels and trains for best possible experience. What Luxury Peru provided is transfers , English speaking guides , transport with drivers, and tickets to trains and attractions. This is the most important part and Cost nearly half the price for entire trip. We had very good experience with transfers in Lima, good English, punctual person met us and escorted us to and from hotel for our flights. Arriving in Cusco we were met by lady, who did speak good English, did not care to interpret our requests to the driver ( we went directly to Sacred Valley for 1,5h). She kept forgetting things to tell us, or to give us our tickets, ( we had to ask), she also failed to mention how we were supposed to get back from MP to train station. That resulted in extra expenses for us and a bit of hassle. But the van was great and air conditioned. Best tour guide we had for the trip was in MP Edyson. We were lucky to have him for two days there and took nice trucking up the mountain. However, the guides in Sacred Valley and Cusco were so so. Although they spoke English ( some better than others). During our visit Peru unions held strikes and our travel arrangements were changed. Trains stopped their operations. Good thing Luxury Travel Peru arrange alternative transportation for us. We are thankful for that. However, LTP were notified by train officials about changes the day before. We were NOT notified at ALL. Because we had problem with getting to railway station from our hotel, we contacted David on WhatApp. He told us what need to be done, but still did not tell us about the train situation. And no words about serious situation on roads ( for foreigners) as a result of strikes around Peru. We were met at the train station where we had to change train for the car. Forget that it was a small car, but both people who came to get us did not speak English. Nothing! It was dark, unsafe and we did not know where we were going, as we went by country roads in mountains vs main highway. Matter was worse, because we did not get sufficient explanation of what is happening and had to jump in the car with two people we could not talk to... we paid a LOT of money fir two of us. I was angry at the time with hole situation and was grateful that after 2 hours we got to our hotel in Cusco safe and sound. There fore, I would give 3,5 stars rating to the LPT company, for employing people who do not speak English. Or forget to tell us things. Again, price - service = 3,5 stars. Next time I would use Belmond directly for entire experience . Will recommend Belmond highly !

We had a wonderful trip, everything was as presented, and our short seven day itinerary was perfect. I have recommended the tour company to many friends.

Our family enjoyed a 10 day vacation in Peru. I attempted to make the arrangements on my own. It was a time consuming and difficult task.
