Shocking experience
Shocking experience as like so many others. Ordered 5th Dec for Christmas. Advised of delays. Advised they tried to deliver 29/12 but no safe place to leave. Total bull…13 of us there that day and even if that were not the case there are multiple safe spots to leave it. Contacted the company twice before a brief response. On 2nd contact I asked for a refund as game was for Christmas. Their team ignored this and told me they’d resent. A bit later I received a tracking number which once clicked went nowhere. Have emailed twice since. Total silence. Luckily I’ve only wasted $35 but HATE being scammed. AVOID this company!

Product not delivered
I placed an order for 2 sets and was charged $49.49 on Dec 16,2025. On Dec 21,2025 i received an email stating the company was overwhelmed and there would be a delay. On Dec 24, 2025 i received another email stating the order had been shipped. The "Track Package" link just brings up an error message "This page isn't working".
I recieved another email on Jan 8, 2026 asking if i had received my order. I replied and informed them that i had still not received it and requested the order be cancelled and a refund issued due to this excessive delay.
On Jan 16,2026 i had not received product or a refund, so i reached back out requesting a status update.
On Jan 19, 2026 i received another email stating the order had been shipped. I responded with another request for the order to be cancelled and have a refund issued.
Now it is Jan 30, 2026 and still no delivery or refund has been made. I have just tried to contact them again requesting a refund. I have also replied to each of the advertising emails i have been getting from the same email address listed above asking for a status and requesting a refund.
Also i saw a notice online yesterday that these are being recalled as a danger to children due to them being smaller than advertised and are a choking hazard.
I highly recommend starting away from this company. Completely unreliable. Unfortunately it's most likely a scam.

Customer service rep Mira was great to work with. Other than that, Shipping time was horrendous! Purchased well before X-Mas, and finally received 3rd week of December. It took the company to reach out to see if I received the item before anything was done internally to push this through. Once that communication took place, then I had the item in a couple weeks. Overall, the chess pieces are much smaller than shown in the advertising. the rope play field had to be reduced to half size for the game to be played. I also have concerns with small children and potential choking issues due to the magnet sizes. Item should have been half the price based on issues described.

I really like the product.
I really like the product and I think the price is right. My only criticism would relate to the extended time period that delivery took. I did receive a few emails saying that the business was very busy and that there would be a delay so I was aware that it would be the case.
I was in no rush so no big deal. I love playing the game with friends and my grandkids and would highly recommend it. Hours of fun.

Took forever to arrive. Was about to report to PayPal. Got an email saying Short Supply then another asking if I had received my order, thought I had been scammed and whalaah .. my order arrived.

Like many of the others
Like many of the others, waiting for my set to arrive. It has now been just under a month. Ordered 1 Jan 26. No response from any of my enquiries on the location. Tracking number shows absolutely no movement from start location. Concerned this is a scam too.

I wish I had checked here before ordering. I placed my order on Dec 12 and still have not received it. They have been completely unresponsive to my inquiries. It’s a shame. The game looks like a lot of fun. I would, at least, like to have my money back.

Slow shipping, fun game
It took over a month to receive the product. Once it arrived, we've been having a lot of fun with it. I think the instructions could provide more details and ideas for different variations of the game, but it seems to be only limited by your own creativity.

I’d give zero stars if I could
Edited following response - I asked to cancel my order the day after I placed it and was told it was too late, when in reality they didn’t ship my order for 4 weeks later. I eventually did receive the order, more than 3 MONTHS later. And the bags were about 1/4 of the size as the ad and website made them appear and the magnets are so small that the game is pretty ridiculous. For that alone I will still say- DO NOT ORDER! And magnetchess- family business or not - misrepresenting an item and then shipping from overseas without disclosing that information up front is SCAMMING PEOPLE. - I’d give zero stars if I could. Ordered from them on December 3rd. It’s January 27th and I still haven’t seen this order. Tracking won’t open, order page gives blubberish, and email responses are copy/paste and not responsive. I believe I’ve been scammed and am disputing the charge but want to warn others- DO NOT ORDER!

No post sale service for faulty product
I was initially advised orders had been delayed with quality assurance issues at the warehouse, and then my order was not one. It arrived faulty 4 weeks ago and I have had no response to my multiple emails via various channels (reply to an email they previously replied to, via Shop, through their website contact form).
So disappointed. I've also noticed their website has a 4.7/5 Trustpilot rating...which coming here I clearly see is not the case with 78% 1 star reviews.

Whatever you do, please don't trust this site. Once you order, you will lose your money and not receive the item. Also as others have said they don't respond to your emails after purchase. You may get a tracking number but it most likely won't work correctly and if you complain by email, you won't get a legitimate answer back, if you get one at all.

Huge delay but NOT a SCAM
First, I FINALLY received my order yesterday! I placed my order December 5th. Originally they said 2-3 weeks. Okay, but 7 weeks later?? Thankfully this was not a gift just something fun to do. On 12/10 they did reach out stating there would be a delay due to going viral but would still arrive by Xmas. 12/28, you’re order will arrive soon and on 1/5 they checked to see if i received my order and then updated my shipping status. 1/25 delivered. Shipping was from China so maybe that was part of the delay too. It was impossible for me to track. I was getting very suspicious this was a scam and was pretty close to calling my cc company to reverse charges. However, I did finally receive my order so I guess not a scam after all. Better communication is needed on their part though to make customers feel comfortable. I haven’t opened the package fully yet but also seems smaller than advertised. Hopefully, it was worth the wait.

Complete Scam
Ordered this item in December with guarantee delivery by Christmas. I have received many emails stating there was an “overwhelming demand” that has put them behind. Contacted them twice with no response. It is the end of January and no contact and no product! Such a scam! And they have a false TrustPilot rating posted on their site 4.7.

I am very disappointed
I am very disappointed. Ordered 3 sets for Christmas gifts on Dec. 18 and received emails saying they were overwhelmed with orders and they were a small family business and that the sets would arrive before New Year's. They did not! Tried to track and got warnings that the page was "suspicious". Do not order from MagnetChess. They finally arrived a few days ago--more than a month later.
