I signed up for MailerSend hoping to use their service for sending transactional emails for my e-commerce business. After submitting the required details about my company and use case, my account was abruptly suspended without a clear explanation.

I reached out for clarification, but the responses were vague and unhelpful. As a legitimate business based in Africa, it’s hard not to feel that there may be some form of bias or prejudice involved, especially when no concrete reason is given. My business is fully operational and compliant, and I was transparent with my intentions.

It’s disappointing to be treated this way by a service that claims to support global businesses. I cannot recommend MailerSend based on this experience, and I would advise others to look for platforms with better transparency and customer support.

Account suspended, and I havet even done anything bad! They wont tell me why, just read the terms of service which is page after page of info and links.

They could at least be transparent!

Pros :
- Clear and user friendly Dashboard,
- Great template builder (drag and drop + html )
- Very easy to setup even though I personally had to contact the support team
- Very fast answering and helpful support team.

Cons :
- I haven't encountered any (yet) as a new user!

Despite an overly complicated start, mostly my fault for mistakenly creating two accounts, the support team were excellent in taking patient time to sort it out.
The trial version just didn't work but I've just been approved to use Mailersend for my business.
Shall get going with it imminently!

MailerSend support and advice has been really helpful and at a detailed level that has allowed us to make considered decisions in ensuring that we work well with their systems. We have asked lots of questions and the responses have been prompt and thorough.

MailerSend has been a great solution for my project. The approval was fast, the interface is clear, the mail delivery is reliable, and the domain setup was easy: highly recommended for developers and teams who need uncomplicated transactional mailings!

Quick Solve with Great Service

I was running into an issue with an error message and not understanding what it meant, customer support was fast and Ben's messages had a great tone.

I have writen a question regarding expiration of bought credits for email verification and didnt get an answer. Other that than the back end of the service is ok.

Very simple to setup, fast and friendly support, and overall just a good company!

We recently encountered an issue with our automated emails, and our customer were no longer receiving order confirmation and a summary of their order. I contacted the MailerSend team, and within a few hours, they were able to resolve the issue for us. They were very helpful and provided very easy-to-follow instructions. Many thanks again. Laura

Very comfortable, intuitive, mails don't get spammed

New user here and so far, the service is working great but the support through the chat is AMAZING. I did receive an excellent answer within minutes and been able to continue with my configuration.

My observations in brief:
- the existence of a trial period (Hobby Plan), very important for me
- simple & intuitive administration panel
- fast & objective account verification
- 2 support tickets opened for some clarifications, with fast and efficient response

I don't have too much experience with the application so I'm reviewing the customer service only.
There was a problem with logging into my account. The very kind and helpful customer service team went above and beyond to help me in this matter.

Good and fast support as well as powerfull comparing with other providers.

They can cancel your account at will without any refund — and the whole point is, you paid for a service you couldn’t even use!

This was my first time using this company’s email API. When the test went smoothly, I proceeded to pay for a 100K email subscription plan.
On my very first send, after sending only around 1,000 emails, they notified me that my email list had a high bounce rate (around 10%) and suspended my account.

Alright, so maybe we can recheck our email list and resubmit?

MailerSend: No! Your email bounce rate is too high — your account is being SUSPENDED immediately!
Me: Fine, then how about a refund?
MailerSend: No, because you violated our policy, there will be no refund!

I’m really curious — is this some new business model now? If a customer accidentally violates an alleged policy, you can just suspend their account, not provide any service, and keep the money without issuing a refund?
I’m not sure if this is legal, but we reserve all rights to pursue legal action.

Well, one good thing did come out of this: thanks to MailerSend’s terrible experience, we found another email service provider that is more than 50% cheaper — and successfully delivered all of our emails.
