Bucket Soft Tote was the tote I didn't know I needed

Got the Bucket Soft Tote in Plum Red and I love it so much! The leather is incredibly soft and supple, and you can really feel the quality of the full-grain leather and construction. It also smells amazing. Despite how soft it is, the bag still feels really sturdy and well made, especially the strap.

It’s also surprisingly spacious without feeling bulky or heavy. A 13-inch laptop fits comfortably with plenty of room left for my makeup bag, wallet, keys, a book, a camera, an umbrella, it's a chic Mary Poppins bag. Even when I fill it up, the bag itself is so lightweight that it stays comfortable on my shoulder for long periods, which is something I really appreciate about it.

Also have to mention the shipping because I was genuinely impressed by how quick it was. Everything was really seamless from ordering to delivery and my bag arrived quicker than I expected.

Honestly my everyday bag now!

NO Customer service

I mistakenly ordered the wrong phone case & they kindly agreed to a store credit so I could order the correct one.
There is no credit on my account & despite many emails I have had only one response that said they would contact me soon . That was 2 months ago & now nobody is returning my emails or assisting me with the credit .
I am extremely disappointed with the customer service . I have asked for a phone number so I can speak to someone (as there is no direct line ) but again no response.
Unfortunately they have now left me no option but to take the matter further now having to take further action .

Je suis extrêmement déçue par mon expérience d'achat.
Lors d'une promenade à Paris, j'ai découvert de trÚs beaux charms pour sac, mais je n'arrivais pas à me décider sur le modÚle à choisir. Quelques jours plus tard, de retour chez moi (j'habite à environ 80 km de Paris), j'ai décidé de commander deux charms sur le site officiel de la marque.
Les prix étaient affichés en euros et rien ne laissait clairement penser que la commande serait expédiée depuis l'étranger. Le délai annoncé était de 4 à 7 jours, ce qui m'a rassurée. Pourtant, la réalité a été tout autre : j'ai dû payer 50 € de frais de douane supplémentaires et attendre 21 jours pour recevoir ma commande.
Cette mauvaise surprise a complÚtement gâché mon plaisir. Un manque de transparence sur les frais et les délais de livraison est inacceptable pour un achat effectué sur un site officiel. Malheureusement, cette expérience me donne vraiment envie de ne plus acheter chez cette marque.

Your order was dispatched from our US distribution centre. For European deliveries, we offer both Duties Paid and Duties Unpaid shipping options at checkout. With a Duties Paid service, applicable import duties and taxes are included upfront. When a Duties Unpaid service is selected, any customs charges are assessed and collected separately by the destination country’s customs authorities.

The delivery timeframe shown at checkout reflects the estimated transit time with the selected carrier. As customs clearance is managed independently by local authorities, this can occasionally extend the delivery timeframe once the parcel arrives in the destination country.

We understand how important it is to have clear expectations around both delivery and potential customs charges, and we appreciate the opportunity to clarify this.

Exceptional Service

Actually ordered their backpack from Nordstrom but the fulfillment was still done by MAISON. The shipping was estimated to take over a week and there was no expedited shipping option, but needed the backpack before we traveled for my wife’s birthday. I contacted Nordstrom and they advised I contact MAISON. I contacted MAISON by email and was assisted by Carmela. She actually went out of her way to check the order, find it, expedite it, and follow up with me the whole way. Having amazing customer service is so rare nowadays and MAISON was a breath of fresh air. The backpack looked and felt great. They won themselves a repeat customer. I was so happy I created a trust pilot account just to leave a review.

Best customer service

Got the best customer service from Carmela after reaching out regarding my order. The issue I had was initially my own fault but she kindly helped me and sorted it out. So impressed about the customer service experience and cant wait to get the order!

It was soooooooo hard to make a return

It was soooooooo hard to make a return. I exchanged 6 different email to send back the item I purchased and after that, it took me over a month to keep asking them why they don't make a refund. Then they emailed me after a month to send them tracking number. After so many more emails, they send me a code for store credit, which doesn't work. Their customer service is terrible.

Customer service saved the experience

I purchased an iPhone cover for my 17 Pro Max. I was pretty excited to buy myself a classy, good quality phone cover and was convinced by the website’s description of the product (specifically “ The most advanced iPhone 17 protection, engineered by the original all-leather case pioneers. Crafted from shock-absorbent German polycarbonate and wrapped in supple, sustainable DriTan™ full-grain leather, it securely safeguards your most essential companion through extraordinary design. The Phone Case delivers unparalleled fracture resistance with 360-degree defence against drops and scratches”).

Unfortunately within three weeks my phone screen was so scratched and damaged that I had to replace the screen protector and ended up replacing the case. It became clear to me (and was admitted by MdS themselves) that the edges of the case don’t cover the edge of the glass screen completely, leaving it exposed.

After a lot of back and forth, they’ve have agreed to refund the purchase which I am grateful for. While the product didn’t live up to my expectations, the customer service got there in the end. Carmela was very polite and understanding.

Wow - great experience that might not have been

What started as a problem ended up being a great experience. I had an issue with incorrectly ordering an item I wanted. I used both a dm and email to explain my error and in quick fashion their customer service replied and fixed the issue with great aplomb and turned what could’ve been a negative first experience into a wonderful one. I can’t wait to get my new wallet and look forward to getting a few other items as well.

I ordered an iPhone 17 Pro Case in


I ordered an iPhone 17 Pro Case in beautiful Plum Red colour but received it with a half-worn monogram. Customer support then offered a replacement or store credit. I accepted a store credit, ordered a new case but this time I received someone else's order because the case is in the wrong colour and has someone else's monogram. Despite the beautiful appearance of the case, the purchasing process has been long and full of unpleasant surprises on all three occasions. It's a shame that a company allows itself to make such oversights.

Elegant Design Undermined by Quality, Durability, and Transparency Concerns

I ultimately decided to purchase a bag from Maison de Sabre once they introduced a design featuring black hardware, as I strongly prefer it over gold. I had been eyeing the Medium Palais bag for quite some time, but the gold hardware had always held me back. When the Midnight edition was released, I felt a sense of urgency and made the purchase somewhat hastily out of concern that it might sell out and no longer be available. In hindsight, I do wish I had taken the time to see the bag in person before committing.

At first glance, the bag presents well, and the suede lining is a particularly appealing detail that adds a sense of softness and refinement to the interior. However, there are several aspects that fall short of expectations, especially given the price point. The leather, while structurally sound, feels noticeably dry and lacks the suppleness one would anticipate from a bag in this range. Additionally, the painted edges are quite uneven and, at times, appear sloppy, which detracts from the overall finish and craftsmanship. When compared to the edge glazing on bags costing less than half the price, the difference in quality is especially apparent and leaves much to be desired.

There are also quite a few areas where the material is already flaking after very minimal use, both on the bag itself and on the removable strap. This raises concerns about the overall durability and longevity of the piece.

The crossbody strap is another area that could benefit from improvement. It would be more functional with additional length and greater adjustability. Even at its longest setting, the bag does not sit at an ideal position on my frame (5'2"). More importantly, the excess strap does not stay in place when fully extended. The loops designed to secure the extra length are positioned too low on the strap to be effective at the longest setting, rendering them essentially unusable and leaving the strap looking untidy.

Additionally, my purchasing experience was not entirely consistent with what was advertised. At the time of ordering, the product page indicated that all U.S. orders would ship from a domestic fulfillment center. However, my order ultimately shipped from Australia, resulting in a significantly longer delivery time than expected.

I also submitted a review at the brand’s prompting that was very similar to this one, yet it has not appeared on their website. Notably, the Medium Palais product page appears to feature only five-star reviews, which raises concerns about the transparency and completeness of the feedback being displayed, as it suggests that less favorable customer experiences may not be published.

Overall, while the design and hardware are appealing, the execution, finishing details, durability, fulfillment experience, and apparent lack of balanced review representation do not fully align with the expectations set by the brand’s pricing, and the experience has left me wishing I had evaluated the bag in person prior to purchase.

Edited to Update: My review submitted to Maison De Sabres website is still nowhere to be seen so their reply about not censoring reviews is most certainly false. I didn’t however reach out to them like they requested because I’m honestly just over it in general and don’t want to deal with them and the only way I’d be happy is if they let me return the bag and I’m sure they won’t based on other reviews I’ve seen from people and their return policy

I'm always wary of dealing with a company for the first time, so I sent a communication to Maison de Sabre before purchasing. I received an immediate automated response, followed by a personalized reply from Carmela within a few hours. She answered my questions, and replied to my follow-ups even faster. I bought my wife the "Mini Bucket Bag - Foam Cashmere" a few weeks before Mother's Day, hoping for it to arrive in time. It arrived in just a couple of days! Additionally, the quality lives up to the price. My wife (who is VERY hard to please) has told me every day how much she "LOVES" this purse. She's used it every day, and it's held up very well. Sometimes I even catch her just looking at it with a huge smile!
