Battery Failure Left My Board Useless – No Replacement Provided

I am extremely disappointed with my experience dealing with Maxfind regarding a defective 6400mAh/230Wh battery.

The battery developed an intermittent charging fault where it would sometimes charge and operate, and at other times fail completely. To rule out other causes, I conducted extensive testing using a friend's compatible battery. My skateboard worked perfectly with his battery for an extended period, while my battery produced the same fault when used on his board. This clearly demonstrated that the battery itself is defective.

Unfortunately, the battery failure has rendered my skateboard effectively useless. Without a functioning battery, the board cannot be used for its intended purpose.

I contacted Maxfind seeking assistance and offered to send the battery in for inspection. As the skateboard was received as a Christmas gift from my wife, I did not have access to the original order number. I provided the names and email addresses that may have been used for the purchase, but Maxfind simply advised that they could not locate the order and refused to progress the matter further.

What is particularly disappointing is that, despite the price and being presented with evidence that the battery itself is faulty and despite the obvious fact that the skateboard is unusable, Maxfind has not offered a replacement battery or any meaningful assistance. Intermittent charging faults involving lithium-ion batteries are also a matter of safety and reliability and should be taken seriously.

I expected better after-sales support from a company selling premium electric skateboards. Instead, I have been left with a product that is unusable and a manufacturer that has shown little interest in helping resolve what appears to be a premature battery failure.

I rewrite a previous review. This time is would like to give 9 Stars!

2 years ago I got my longboard (the offroad version). After a short while one of my tired broke. The cable was damaged and one side had power. After reaching out I was promised a new longboard after I would send my longboard to the German warehouse. After sending my longboard I simply did not exist for Maxfind. I have tried all my best to get there attention but I gave up in the end thinking I lost my money and my board.

BUT THEN:
I placed a review about my experience somewhere December 2025. It got picked up by the costumer service in February. The person I spoke to was a super service. He took away the doubt in Maxfind, he gave me trust in this company by simply making me feel heard.

Result: I got a new longboard + extra parts + a good feeling because they gave me my passion and hobby back!!

Unfortunately I cannot thank the person from the customer service by name since they don't mention it in the email.

SO MUCH FUN TO RIDE!

This CYBER MINI X is the perfect campus cruiser. The ride is incredibly smooth and it's so much fun to carve on. It's surprisingly powerful for its size. Absolutely love it!

Ça fait 1 an que j'ai le skateboard…

Ça fait 1 an que j'ai le skateboard électrique maxfind max6 c'est le top je me déplace partout, l'autonomie est agréable et la board est belle. Il y a un système de lumière la rendant encore plus belle le soir. C'est un investissement que je regrette pas ! Et le service client est top, il cherche des solutions au moindre problème, la communication est très réactive. C'est une marque qui mérite d'être connue car les boards sont fiable et pour un prix très correct.

G5 Pro Review: Excellent Ride Quality, But Warranty Nightmare from China-Based Seller

I purchased the Maxfind Glider G5 Pro scooter, and overall, the product itself performs very well, just as described in the specs. It’s fast, smooth, and fun to ride. Unfortunately, the rear tire went flat early on, and I discovered that the valve on the back tire was defective, which made it impossible to inflate.

Since the scooter has a 1-year warranty, I contacted Maxfind for assistance expecting a straightforward replacement. Instead, I was met with weeks of unnecessary delays. They required me to submit multiple videos, photos, and follow-up messages before even acknowledging the issue. Each response took days, and it felt like I was being made to jump through hoops for a simple warranty claim.

When I finally escalated the issue, I was surprised and disappointed that Maxfind’s team threatened to “upload evidence” and said it could damage my credit, simply because I had opened a dispute with my payment provider after getting no resolution. That’s not the kind of customer service or professionalism you expect from a company selling premium electric scooters.

In short:
✅ Scooter works and performs as advertised.
❌ Defective tire valve out of the box.
❌ Warranty process is slow, frustrating, and borderline hostile.

I would have happily remained a repeat customer if Maxfind handled this issue with integrity and basic customer respect, but after this experience, I can’t recommend purchasing from them unless they improve their after-sale and warranty support policies.

MAXFIND FF AT - TRUE feedback after 1 year

This post was previsously done for reddit, but what a surprise, MAXFIND is black flagged on reddit because they SPAM with false evaluations of their products!
That's enough to understand a lot about them...
(unfortunatly I can't attach the photo here but it's the only suitable place I found to share my experience)

This longboard is really nice, comfortable, the range is good... all fine for me regarding the specs.
The big wheels are a must for safety and comfort.
Just one bad point: I went to Italy for my vacation, and as the temperatures were high (35–40 °C), the synthetic board itself became very flexible, way too flexible... I nearly touched the road, so I had to place my feet as wide as possible (to press more on the trucks/axles and less on the flex)!
I weigh 85 kg, so not that heavy...
Still, I liked it anyway as it was an exceptional situation, and in my country the flex is right and comfortable for rides. Just keep that in mind if you live in a hot-weather country. ;)

Now, the bad side: I had warranty issues.
The soldered bolt on the back truck broke, which damaged the hub wheel wires because the whole wheel rotated freely. The ESC (electronic circuit) didn’t like that and died.
If I had to pay for all that, it would have cost me the price of a new board!
I don’t ride off-road, I’m a 48-year-old guy who doesn’t want to get injured. I ride gently and take care of my expensive toys.
Support first accused me of misuse, didn’t answer, or responded lately, or only half-answered my questions, made me request again over and over, forced me to stay patient to not spam them, ...
I sent countless emails and had to stay quiet, because when you need help, you must keep the contact open...
In the end, I finally received the parts (first the truck and the wheel, and as it was still KO, the electronic ESC one month later).
All the parts I received were untracked and showed up with no notification, just left in random boxes in front of my door (strange for such expensive parts).
No explanation on how to do the job, of course—just a few partial instructions that I had to beg to receive...

All the way, I had the feeling that they did not really want the guarantee to be respected.
Even though the problem was eventually fixed, I'm truly disgusted by this brand now.

For people who might face the same issue, I post below what I did to replace the ESC and initialize the new one—since, of course, I had to figure out nearly everything by myself. Hopefully it can help.
Have nice rides, folks!

HOW TO CHANGE & SETUP a new ESC:

A. Check the videos of remplacement ESC on youtube (link not allowed here, but you can find it with chatgpt)
Nothing difficult, just need an hot air gun and take your time time.
Stop the board and disconnect the battery before doing anything !!!
Connect first the two wheels to the new ESC, and next the battery (it made a little
‘TAC’ when plugging the battery, but no damage was done ... just a bit of stress).
PS: The ESC I received was 'inverted'. I mean the wheels turned in the opposite side than with the original ESC. So I had finally to invert the plugging of the wheels (cross the plugs in the box before pasting them with silicone) !
B. Pairing the remote controller:
- power ON the board ~10sec button pressed continuously => power button blue light
blinks quickly, the board is in pairing mode...
- power ON the remote ~3sec button pressed continuously => the remote enter in
pairing mode...
- setup the remote (type: 12S / pair poles: 14)
=> DON’T try to drive the board now, it will be cogging and doing some strange and
scary noises, and the wheels will not turn correctly... so don’t do that! You must first do the
auto-learn procedure.
C. Auto-learn the ESC with the wheels:
1. power ON board, power ON remote => remote connected
2. power OFF the board => remote disconnected
3. power ON the board, wait 1-2sec, and press again 5X the power quickly
=> the board make a big BEEEEP and scary strange noises, and start turning
both wheels on opposite direction with some speed sequence, and finally stop
after 1-2 minutes.
4. You finally must stop again the board, and start the board => remote
connected => It’s now working ! Victory ! Breath & take a drink !

Scam

After delays, lies and attempts of manipulation my promised compensation turned out to be Maxfind sticker, and the board isn’t even working properly, becouse advertised RGB doesn’t work.

I Dont recommend dealing with them or buying anything from them.
