Supposed to have a blood test Friday at 10AM. Took day off from work for this, 1h on a train to get there just so they can tell me there is no one trained to do the test and to reshedule for another day. Disappointing service.. joke. Not recommend 😕
No next day delivery. Delays on dispatch
Ordered an item on a Saturday morning with next day delivery (i know i wouldnt receive it on a weekend). According to their shipping policy it would be dispatched Sunday for next day delivery. Item wasn't even dispatched until Tuesday evening meaning I didn't receive it until Thursday. When I complained about the delay in dispatch and not getting the next day delivery as stated they blamed An Post.

As a Gp we ae advised that zomig should be used to treat a max of 4 migraine per month or less on a regular basis. I explained this to a patient because it can cause rebound migraine and the safety greater than that cannot be assured. The pharmacist told the patient that chronic migraine patients are given 24 every month and to request a prescription for same. I rang knocklyon to try and see where the data was coming from. i held for approx 15 minutes and no one answered the phone. I rang customer service twice and "elaine" is not available- accessing staff is impossible and i have concerns that i cannot address for the patient.
Terrible Customer service
My order was mixed up and I got a partial refund that actually meant I had to pay an extra €26 to get what I originally ordered. I wrote back explaining my dissatisfaction and I got no reply whatsoever. In summary, I would say it’s a good website if everything goes OK but if something goes wrong, absolutely terrible customer service.

Gawd be with the days when you rang someone just answered the phone .now you have to listen to what sounds like a (1970s )American voice mail with muzak 🙃 to match...while your told again....and again...your Number one in the q .. on another day maybe it would be funny
No sign of packages 10 days later, very poor customer service
Disaster from the beginning. Chose McCabes to order from due to next day delivery. Spent over €90 and needed it asap.
Straight after ordering I noticed my old address was autocorrected into delivery. I emailed immediately (literally the minute after the order) requesting they change it, I feel this is a reasonable request? They advised me it was shipped, there was nothing they could do. Sickening but also my fault.
However, 10 days later I still have not received the goods and no update on shipping in 9 days. The shipping that was advertised as next day and the sole reason I purchased here. I haven driven 40 minutes to my old house twice to see if it’s been delivered, assuming there was an issue with the tracking.
I understand these things happen. However, the customer service could not be less helpful if they tried. No reassurance, very unhelpful, impersonal, not even signing off a name and copying and pasting the reply as it consists of all different fonts. My experience with them is the most frustrating part of this. Just informing me it has been shipped.
Feels like that €90 is going down the drain, I’m moving country hence why I needed it quickly. Seeing lots of reviews here that are similiar. Regrettably will not be ordering from here again.
SCAM - next business day delivery is a scam
Order made 8 days ago with the promise of next business day delivery. Made contact with McCabe's who informed package will be dispatched immediately. Still not sent. Look elsewhere. Customer service and delivery are gone shocking with this company which once was brilliant. Poor management. Next business day delivery complete false advertising. Read recent reviews before you buy.

Ordered vichy deodorants duo set twice and never received it: first parcel they were missing, after contacting the customer service i got a refund . 2 weeks later i ordered again. the second order which took 10 days to deliver, customer service sent me an email “item out of stock and ll be refunded ”. Meanwhile they have been available on the website site the whole time and still are. Avoid the headache, order elsewhere
Not next business day delivery
Ordered on their website last Thursday needed the products as quick as possible so paid next day delivery. Monday now and an post tracking states they still haven't received the order I emailed them and they said it may take longer during busy period and said they can not refund me the €6 next day delivery few
Why offer this option if you can promise it id advise removing this during busy times from other reviews I can see I'm not the first person this has happened to and your keeping all that money for people to receive their packages in a normal time frame

What went right more like. So new script needed but the same script goes in month after month. They do not have a repeat so don't give anything to the patient requiring psych medication. This happened once before with this chemist because he was left without his meds. That time got an apology but they wouldn't be taking it any further because she left. Nothing fancy except the usual suck up shit they do in case you put them on blast. Well maybe I will this time not enve the offer of weekend emergency supply till Monday when the manager is back. Don't know if I have time for that. What if I jump off a cliff because my meds are not there. You as a company with many employees obviously have not learned anything ,eh bridget in customer care because it's happened again and let's be honest if ye can how many other people has this happened to..Adrian dunne sounds so much more attractive and I would imagine they have a better system their too because you are far from slaying it in Kilbarrack shopping centre. Crescent shopping centre store.. Sinead the pharmacist is exceptional at her job.. Goes beyond to help. And the staff are also helpful.. Highly recommend this store for all your needs.. Best service ever!!
They won’t refund you for out of stock items

Have ordered many times and pricing is competitive with very fast shipping.
Decided to do a click and collect order to collect in Dundrum. Ordered Thursday evening got a call Friday morning to say 2 items were out of stock (accurate inventory seems to be nonexistent) and that a refund would be issued the remaining items were ready to collect.
Upon collection the girl seemed lost and asked numerous times for my name and order number after 10 mins she retrieved my order (would have been faster taking them from the shelf and queuing up to pay)
Fast forward to Tuesday no sign of a refund emailed customer service who made me feel like I way lying saying they had to check with warehouse etc.
Was a regular online shopper with McCabes most definitely won’t be ordering again.
Unhelpful Customer service
I accidentally ordered my order twice, on a Saturday afternoon. My fault I know. I realised immediately and contacted them to cancel the 2nd order. I was advised they could not cancel the order. And they advised I could return the items. I read the terms and conditions and saw that they would not take returns for the items I ordered. I asked again for confirmation that I could return the items to be ignored. They shipped the items on the Monday morning. I was very disappointed and will not be using them again. I fell they had adequate time to cancel the order.
Staff very helpful
I ordered a voduz 4 in 1 curly click and collect not realising that they come from the warehouse.and most likely would.not have made it for Christmas. The girl in tallaght village store was the most helpful cant remember her name as I was stuck for it for a santa present and she went above and beyond for me. She arranged for me to collect one from pam in the Dundrum store another lovely lady they were santa helpers to.me delighted and very much appreciative of both staff members Happy Christmas ladies 🎄
"NEXT DAY DELIVERY" TAKING 3 DAYS
I ordered from them as they advertised next day delivery. I just had surgery and I needed medical upplies as I cannot leave the house. Three days later, and still no package. I emailed customer service and I was informed that my package was not sent out on the day I ordered it, it was sent out 24 hours after. Even then, I still have not received it yet. I was told during "bustling" Christmas periods that there were "minor delays" in delivery.
If this is the case, then don't advertise next day delivery. It's misleading and false. They know they don't provide next day delivery, for whatever reason they want to allege, yet they still advertise it.

McCabes do not accept returns of online purchases
I ordered a plaster cast cover for my elderly mother on line, unfortunately when it arrived it wasn’t suitable so I contacted McCabes customer service who were very helpful and told me to bring it back to any McCabes store and I would be refunded. I called to the Nutgrove store who were unable to assist me as there was no manager available. So I called back a few days later, spoke to the manager who informed me she couldn’t assist me as their system doesn’t have access to their online store, she advised me to go to a bigger McCabes such as Citywest. I called to Citywest today, yet again they staff were unable to refund me, all they could do was take the item from me to post it to the online store, they couldn’t tell me when i would receive my refund, so I feel like I have just handed the item over with no guarantee of refund. If you order something on line anywhere else, like Dunnes, it returns system is flawless, McCabes return system doesn’t work. I have emailed them a number of times, responses have been poor. I have contacted CPCC as their system doesn’t work.
Delivery took 3 days not the next day
Placed an order online and paid for next day delivery, checked the tracking on my delivery and it was showing that it was still waiting to be given to An Post, so waited and no sign of my delivery for 2 days so I had to email and inform them that An Post hasn't received the parcel to be delivered only then did it show tracking. Very disappointed I have to say that it took me to let them know that An Post didn't receive the parcel? I won't be using them again, don't state it's next day delivery when it's clearly not, should be free delivery for the time it took!
