Very responsive and helpful. Bespoke HWC arrived quickly, and exactly as ordered. Perhaps a bit pricier than locally sourced; but worth it overall. I'd go to McDonald in the future.

Absolutely brilliant, no issues, good communication,.great workmanship and has given me two great back boilers for central heating and for for hot water too. Even better when the fuel prices are going up

Not being in the trade McDonald really helped with designing our heat Store, Tiff was helpful, friendly and made things easy.
When I called to say a small component had been damaged in transit, they called immediately to apologise, even though it wasn't their fault, and replaced it with a couple of days.
Wouldn't hesitate to recommend or order from them again.
Also the only company that offered to do a custom build to suit our needs.

We needed a bespoke system hot water cylinder for the loft and they made it to a certain diameter and horizontally mounted for us. The delivery was quick and they helped us out with any questions we had.
Would recommend to anyone 100%.

My client, a hotel business in a remote part of western Scotland recently had a large 550 L hot water cylinder develop a leak. This type of cylinder is not something that you can just buy off-the-shelf, but McDonald Water Storage committed to making me a replacement cylinder within a week. After listening to my explanation of what we needed, they suggested a simple upgrade to improve our installation and within half an hour I had a sketch drawing of what they would supply and a competitive quotation. They agreed to supply to me through my preferred retailer, a local Builders Merchant with whom I have a trade account, Communications were fantastic and the product was ready a day earlier than promised. I feel as though I’ve been treated like a VIP. What can I say? You don’t get service like this from many companies and these people have been absolutely brilliant. Highly recommended.

We are a small heating and plumbing business and have used MacDonald a few times now as they do a slimline version of their Thermastore direct and indirect cylinders. They are great to deal with and the product is excellent. You can fit them in very narrow cupboards and where you cannot fit an unvented system due to building regs. They are simple to plumb in and solve the poor hot water pressure issues we so often find with conventional cylinders. We will definitely be using them again.
