My 90 year old mum ordered a sofa and a chair, wanted to return sofa as didn’t match description and was damaged on right cushion. Millhouse wouldn’t refund her and nothing else was suitable. Mum had to go into a home after breaking her hip and falling ill and still no refund .
I have many loyal friends and family who previously shopped at Millhouse, but will not step foot over their threshold,for what they have done to my elderly mum.

After sales service is very poor.
We've been waiting for our sofa for over 5 months (22 weeks). It should have been delivered between 12-16 weeks. The real issue is that nobody answers the phone and emails get ignored. The staff are great when selling to you in store but afterwards they really don’t seem to care.

Amazing from start to finish. Just received my Alexander & james sofa, and a cheeky chair from the sale yesterday. From start to finish the service was welcoming. Very knowledgeable on sofas and leathers. Jane wand Dean were so good and gave me time to think about what I wanted (no hard sale here) I nipped in yesterday for the big sale looking for some cussions and Jane find them for me and pointed me to a stunning chair and a good price. The two delivery guys came today and took down my old sofa as I could not get help before the weekend. It was not a straight forward job they never complained and just got it with it. With out there help I’d would have been stuck. Will only buy from here from now on. So impressed.

Just bought a large footstool & I absolutely love it-exactly what I wanted.

Fantastic family run business, great customer service. Jayne provided a friendly, personable and unrushed experience. There was no hard sell, we took our time and Jayne was really patient with us.

Great coffee and we were made to feel welcome and we were encouraged to relax and really try out the sofas like we were in our own living room. "Shoes and coats off relax and enjoy..... pretend you are at home will leave you to it"

Love to support local businesses and would highly recommended.

Will be our go to place now for all furniture purchases, mirrors, rugs etc

Had a fantastic visit to Millhouse this afternoon. We have bought several pieces from this store in the past and always been happy so having purchased a new house they were the people to go to for a sofa after an unsatisfactory purchase elsewhere. The advice they gave on what was "just right" for our room, understanding our taste and requirements was reassuring. A purchase you don't make every day so good to know the quality is there and the size is what we need for our room. Just got to wait for delivery, but they have even offered to "loan" us a sofa - excellent service. Thank you.

We went for the first time today, after passing and seeing the signs for years. It was myself and 2x teenage daughters, on a bank holiday Monday, all normally dressed and polite, but the welcome we got was very strange. We got pounced on as soon as we walked through the door, and even told the correct way to go around the store (?) which I thought was a bit much, but possibly just their over zealous way of dealing with customers, however, the gentleman then followed us into the next area, as well as upstairs. We were the only people there, so it was very obvious and extremely off putting. It made us feel uncomfortable and as though they were ‘keeping an eye on us’ - I’m not sure how they thought I could have walked out with a sofa stuffed in my bag?!?

I understand they are doing a job and want to make a sale, but constantly commenting on everything we looked at around the shop and being a few steps behind us the entire time was just too much. They had the sofa I wanted to buy, but we just wanted to leave and I’d prefer to buy it somewhere else to be honest.

Where do I start from the minute we stepped in we had a warm welcome and the offer of a warm drinks.
We was met by Jayne, she certainly knew her job well, she gave us so much advice on colour texture ect and even told us to take the colour swatches to try at home .
The next day we returned and was met with the same welcome and offer of warm drinks , I can recommend the hot chocolate 😊eventually after matching various colours and patterns together again with the help of Jayne we chose our sofas.
I would definitely recommend Millhouse there was no pushy sales just advice and suggestions, thank you so much .

Love the service I received from Jane at Millhouse . No pushy sales, takes her time with us and very welcoming. Will definitely come back again . I rate Jane 10 stars not 5

I recently purchased various Sofas and units for my house, I couldn't be happier with my purchases. The quality of the furniture is top-notch and the help matching the new sofa fabric/colour with the existing colour scheme of the rooms was much needed. The customer service was excellent as well, with the staff being very helpful and accommodating throughout the entire process. The delivery was quick and efficient. I would highly recommend Millhouse to anyone.

All the furniture is lovely and all the staff are so helpful, especially Jayne who helped me with the purchase of my 2 sofas and 2 mattresses - I wouldn’t go anywhere else for my furniture!

Got to give this store 5 stars. Lots of beautiful furniture and great ideas. I see so much I would like every time I visit. No hard sales people, always friendly and professional. My new sofa and chairs look fabulous, saving up for our next trip. Love a trip to Millhouse

As a very good father , I volunteered to buy my Son and his partner a bed for his new home . After various trips to retailers and being ignored , pressured and frankly given a load of BS. We decided to visit Millhouse, after seeing them on our local Facebook feed. What a fantastic place with the wow factor. We were given absolutely amazing advice by Jane , they were given time to try out the beds , no pressure. A bed chosen, a great deal agreed and one Son and future daughter in law left incredibly happy. Said Bed was delivered , and as my Son stated “it’s the best “ cheers Millhouse.

We have been going to Millhouse Furniture for 20 years and always had excellent service from their friendly and helpful staff.
