I Spent thousands with this company and had an absolutely terrible service. I complained to the managers and they completely ignored us. Not even an apology offered merely closed ranks and justification. Terrible company costumer service. They may be a Goliath company today but remember it only takes a small David to teach huge Goliath a humbling lesson.

Very pleased with the snuggler chair we ordered but it took 14 weeks to arrive .

The choice of furniture is excellent.
The product knowledge and friendliness of the staff is first class.
It is a pleasure to shop there.

The road to the store is shocking. Lots of small stones. Even after driving very slowly my car paint work got chipped.

Lovely store, laid out beautifully, but that's all I can say that's positive. I've had the absolute worst experience. Ordered a sideboard, two chests and a coffee table in September 2021, delivery expected end Jan 2022. Jan came and went, Feb came and went, heard nothing. Tried ringing but never any answer. Left voicemail but calls not returned. Emailed twice and finally told they were having supply isdues and asked if I could wait a bit longer.

June and still heard nothing. No one answering the phone again, emailed, no reply and finally I managed to get hold of someone. They said they would contact the supplier and call me back. Waited a few days. Nothing so I rang again to be told (hurrah) due to be delivered to them in a couple of days. But the delivery slots were booked well in advance. I had to wait a further 2 weeks! I requested the first drop of the day 14th July and was assured I would receive a call between 8 and 9am.

9am came and went...no call so I had to chase. Furniture finally arrived around 11, but the sideboard was damaged. As I'd waited 10 months I was really unhappy. However when I rang, I was told they would ring the supplier to see if they had a replacement. Initially I rejected the whole delivery, but before the drivers left, I received confirmation that a replacement sideboard would be with me by 25th July.

25th July arrived with a 9.30am call informing me that the replacement was also damaged, the suppliers had discontinued the line and they didnt think they could replace. They would call back to confirm. No call, so I had to chase again. At 13.45 the drivers arrived to collect the remaining furniture and I was called to effect a refund. They even got the amount to be refunded wrong - in my favour not theirs, but I'm honest so I alerted them.

So my advice....shop elsewhere. Having a nice showroom is all well and good but giving a consistently diabolical service takes the sparkle away. For a family run concern I expected a gold star commitment to its customers. It's anything but. They had a £350 deposit of mine sat in their bank for 10 months, plus the balance for over 2 weeks for furniture on a 12-14 week delivery window. And I'm still without furniture.

Appalling service ordered a footstool it took months was delayed. Then I received an e mail to say it had arrived. I called in after a long week at Windsor show (tired). Was told it was in the store they would go and get it 1/2 hr later we were still left waiting. Went in looking for an assistant who promptly told me she had forgotten about us ! She was just stood listening to the other assistant not even assisting a customer. She then said it was in the store but difficult to get to. Then she passed me onto another woman who said it’s not on site I should have rung first. She was very condescending said was I in a small car as it wouldn’t fit! I was not dressed up and was clearly judged on my appearance as not important. She took my number to call me the next day but didn’t. I had to call them myself, they said the footstool was still at the warehouse they would have to call for it. Eventually I spoke to a manager I explained all this to him and although he was apologetic and said he would ring me back on Thursday he just didn’t bother. We went at approximately 5 o’clock that day and picked up the footstool which isn’t of particularly good quality seems hollow and the upholstery is loose !

From what I could see it was in a shed at the side of the building and had probably been there all along as the first assistant basically said it was difficult to get to. So I presume it was there they just couldn’t be bothered I didn’t think we were worth serving .

Don’t bother ! This company are on another review service where people have commented about their after sales service. For some reason now you can’t put a review on ! 😡

Wow what a fantastic store Millhouse is, everything is so beautifully presented and you can buy furniture to suit most budgets!! We bought some sofas. Excellent service from start to finish, and Louis the owner is so nice and genuine, what a character!!

We needed a sofa, so we went to Millhouse. There are many good quality options at various price points, and it gives you a sense of value and quality. They have the furniture set up to get a feel of how it will look in your house, giving you additional design ideas. The team are professional but not pushy. We ended up buying several rooms of furniture and a few design items. Highly recommend a visit.

We’ve been buying all of our furniture from Millhouse ever since they established their store in East Leeds. Quite honestly nobody else in the region comes close to them in Product Quality or Customer Service. We simply wouldn’t choose anywhere else.

The most wonderful furniture store. So much choice.

My absolute favourite furniture shop. I kitted out my new house with beds, sofas and accessories. The mattresses are just heavenly. All the staff really know their stuff and give brilliant advice on colour schemes and ideas for what works together. A much more personal experience than the big furniture chain stores and the shop is absolutely beautiful - jam packed with gorgeous things. I’ve recommended to loads of my family and friends.

Bought our first piece of furniture from Millhouse, (formerly Millhouse pine on North Street Leeds in 1988 its still in excellent condition to this day)
Thirty odd years later and many more purchases, and still a very satisfied customer.
Louis and the team always make you feel like a personal friend.

Fantastic store, great shopping experience! Really helpful staff when I needed information on a product. Delivery team were excellent! My favourite furniture store.

We went there unsure what we really wanted, but the service, professionalism and helpfulness of the staff was fantastic. Took time to help with our needs, explained everything very well. And to top it off , the delivery time was spot on . Did everything they said they would do. Would highly recommend.

Love love love this shop! Colleagues always happy to help and so welcoming even with a cuppa ! Furniture is fantastic and the accessories are lovely with gorgeous smelling diffuser’s can’t wait to see the Christmas decorations. Thanks Jo Green
