I was also scammed. You won't have a login associated with the account, and password recovery is a blank email sent to junk. Luckily, so far, it's only been $25. I am reporting to my bank as soon as possible. They suck. Not only that, but some of the files wouldn't download.

Long time to wait for the money back, they sent them to store account when I asked to sent to my original account, they charged me again another £5.99 to send to my account,they took £10 off from the prize what I paid, The quality is very poor and the prize is to expencive for that what you get! don't buy anything from Modify!

Total scam. It couldn't convert my file, took 50c, and 39,95€ the next day. I didn't register, so how can I cancel?

They have charged me 14 euros after 1 day of trial.
I had agreed to pay 0.5 euro to convert some files.
Nowhere during the whole payment experience there was written that that payment was for a "trial" and that I would be charged 14 euros after 1 day. I had to find it out once I saw the charge. I went and looked back. there is written in small characters "24-hour test", but no mention that you will be charged 14 euros after that!!
This is an awful practice to steal money from unaware and uninformed customers.

I made a purchase for 69.14 when the products came and I wanted to return them in a timely manner. Using their return label they supplied. I only received 45.97 refund of 45.97 No explanation of what happened to my 23.15 to me this is robbery. Do not buy anything from this company. It’s a scam. The clothes were very poor quality.

I just found that regular payments have been taken out from my bank account for this app that I had never heard of and don't have installed on my phone, so no idea how or why this got started. I had to google MNI Modify to find out what the hell it is. Im not sure how they've got my bank details - I'm guessing that I might have been conned into paying for something I wanted to do once several months ago and they have been charging my card every month even though I don't have an app installed am not using wjatever their service is meant to be, and did not subscribe to anything. the amount of ts I have been charged range from 51p (which I imagine was all I had expected to pay) to £12.50 for the most recent payment taken today.

First of all, the conversion didn't work for me and many of reviewers. The 0.5 euro fee is for 24-hour-trial period, and "if you don't cancel your account with in the trial period", you will be charged for about 40 euro. The service provider claimed that the agreement is well written in the terms and conditions, but for layman consumers like us, the charge of approximately 40 euro shouldn't be that obscured. To be fair, the subscription fee should be more prominent on the webpage. But trust me, terms and conditions are bound by everyone who purchases this service so the company service is just on the edge of being illegal. Avoid using this conversion service at all causes as subscription fee rate is semi-obscured, and many may call it a scam.

I was lucky that I learned this very quickly after I 1st used the service and cancelled the account before the 24-hour-trial period ran-off. Also, to be safe, I called my credit card provider to suspend any online transaction after this payment.

For anyone who do not have the accounts, call your bank and get new credit cards.

SCAM. They charge you 0,5 Euro for the conversion and automatically sign you up for a monthly subscription. After the first session, suddenly the site changed to Spanish which cannot be translated by Chrome's built-in translation, and you cannot copy any text off the website.

Same as everyone else is saying, asks for 50p or similar to do one file, I paid it (and it didnt even convert the file!) Then if you do not cancel the subscription that it doesnt tell you are entering after 24 hours, you then get charged £10. Log on and cancel the subscription straight away or better yet, do not use this site at all!!

Ho modify.app per una volta per modificare un documento. La spesa era di 50c. L'indomani and ogni mese per 9 mesi la mia carta di credito e' stata debita per Eur39.95 finche' non mi sono accorta. Non ho trovato un modo per cancellare questo pagamento. La banca ha dovuto cancellare la carta di credito e devo provare di ottenere un rimimborso. Terrible

Una truffa. Ti chiedono 0,50 € per convertire un file AVI in MP4 e il giorno dopo ti ritrovi 39,95 € accreditati sulla carta. Ho bloccato la carta subito. Farò la denuncia dai carabinieri e disconoscerò in banca la transazione. Riavrò indietro i miei soldi. Ladri schifosi!

Super truffa! Addebitando 0,5 cent ma poi prelevano 39,90 euro!

It's a scam. You pay 50 cents the first time, and then they charge you 50 euros per month going forward. I was stupid, not paying attention, and have lost 300 euros and had to cancel my credit card as I wasnt able to log in to my account when I found out.

I tried to get a file converted and paid 0,50 cents with my card. It did not work and the next morning I got charged 40 euros in my card. I had to call my bank to cancel my card and never got my money back.

Vi fanno convertire un file per 0,50€, ma il giorno dopo siete abbonati ad un servizio per 39,95€. Non potete disdire da soli, dovete per forza contattarli. Fidatevi che o bloccate immediatamente la carta o loro procedono con altri prelievi. Ho fatto la denuncia e segnalato, ovviamente mi hanno detto di mettermela in tasca, i 40€ non li riavrò mai..

I was desperate to get a file converted to mp4 and decided to give in to the 0.50-something charge. The next day they charged me 5.95. It seems that I got lucky considering how much other reviewers were charged. I'm trying to contact my bank in hopes I don't need to cancel my card. I should've known better.

Wanted to try their service for 0.5€. It turned out to be useless. On the next day they charged 25€ and when I asked for the refund they had refused.
