Same thing as everyone else

Same thing as everyone else. They advertised a 50c conversion fee but the next day tried to charge 40 euro. I can't even remove my information from the site without "emailing" when there's no email on the site. I never signed up for the page in the first place. Thankfully my card declined the transaction but now I have to get a whole new card.

Per convertire un file chiedevano 50 cent e ho pagato con carta, poi mi sono accorto di un addebito di 39,95 al mese. Mi è passato 2 volte poi mi sono accorto e ho bloccato la carta. Mai voluto pagare tale importo per alcun servizio. Semplicemente sono dei truffatori. Intanto faccio denuncia, poi si vedrà.

Avrò probabilmente cercato di convertire un file, e mi hanno addebitato un abbonamento di 39.95 se non erro, per ben due mesi, menomale che me ne sono accorta subito se non chissà quanti soldi mi ciucciavano via, sti basta..i, che poi gli indizi c'erano... Nessun tasto annulla abbonamento, nessuna mail di conferma pagamento, nessuna
possibilità di pagare con PayPal, l'unico indizio era il pagamento visto dal conto della mia carta. Sito troppo anonimo, ma la prossima volta starò più attenta. Adesso ho scritto alla mail e dicono di aver cancellato l'abbonamento, sperem...

Complete scam

Complete scam, do NOT use their website! 40 euro's got charged from my account, the day after I paid 0.50 cents to convert 5 documents. This is not communicated at all. Incredible.

Deceptive charges and poor service (1 star)

I recently used Modify.app to convert an audiobook (AAX file) to MP3 format. While the website advertised a €0.50 fee for the conversion, things went wrong quickly. After uploading my file and entering my email for the converted audio, I was charged €0.50 as expected. Unfortunately, I pay for nothing.

However, the next day, I discovered a €39.95 charge for a subscription I never authorized. There was no option to unsubscribe or manage my account without logging in, and I hadn't created an account in the first place.

I had to contact my bank and cancel my card.

Avoid Modify.app! Their pricing practices are deceptive, and the conversion quality is poor.

Total SCAM

Total SCAM. The conversion has not been made for the .50€ and I had to pay also 39.95 for... what???
I wrote an email trying to get a refund but... you know

Absolute scam.

I wanted to convert an image to a vector file. Came across this site. Uploaded the image for conversion, asked to put in my email address to they can send the vector file on to me. It was a .50c charge, grand, thought nothing of that.
Received a completely blank email off them.
I received a phone call from the fraud department with my bank, about this website trying to take 39.95 out of my bank account.
I didn't create an account with modify.app so there was no way I could 'unsubscribe,' or log in or whatever.
I got my bank to cancel my card.
Don't fall for this like I did.

Scam

One star is too much. Scammers. The conversion is not good and they charge you a lot on the next day even if you did not subscribe to their plan.
It is a scam.
