They make it very difficult for the customer to report a repair, endless questions, I sent pictures, then the guarantee you register for is not enough, after that they want pictures again, you get the message..... I ll press hard and if I ll not get a repair or exchange I ll sue. Do not order from them.

Appliance looked very good on Curry's website and I was pleased with it when it arrived. Nice inside with good sized drawers. Shelves are a little tricky to pull out to reposition. I struggled but maybe because it was new.
It was bought for my sister and her husband and hopefully they get many years from it.
Do not buy this rubbish! when your product is out of warranty, they will not help you.
We purchased a DDCH060 Down Draught Extractor in 2019 and it has failed again. Montpellier will not provide any service or support as its out of warranty.

Apart from the lady at the end of phone not understanding the urgency of my phone call to them regarding delivery time we are very pleased with the drier and the delivery men, polite and helpful.
Montpellier manufactures and sells substandard electrical appliances that come with a two-year guarantee which they entirely disregard should it be needed. At every turn they will obfuscate any enquiry or claim. The Montpellier fridge that I bought just over a year ago, and which has been kept in pristine condition, has never been very cold, but just about adequate, but then it stopped working altogether. When this happened I completed the online enquiry form to arrange whatever service the two-year guarantee supposedly includes, but no response was received. After waiting a week I telephoned Montpellier. Although it was difficult to get through, I persevered and after several attempts managed to speak to someone, who gave me an email address to forward proof of purchase. My email was quickly enough acknowledged and I was told that a service engineer would be in touch by the end of the next working day at the latest. This never happened. I waited another week, and tried once again by email. Again promises were made that an engineer would be in touch. They were not. Another week, another polite and patient email, no response at all. I then tried the online contact form, which to my amazement eventually received a response, with promises between several people at Montpellier that, again âan engineer would be in touchâ by the end of the next working day. Of course, they werenât, but whoever was involved in these brief and clumsy emails did give a commendable performance and I thought perhaps something might happen this time. But another week passed, another email was sent, and no response. Itâs all very tedious and seems purposeful on their part; thereâs no reasoning or excuses and certainly no apologies. I eventually just had to buy another fridge, not Montpellier this time of course, and an expense I really could have done without. A fridge is not a luxury - it is a fairly essential item to modern living. This happens to be a second fridge for me, not my main fridge. However this was never disclosed, nor was I asked whether there was anyone vulnerable in the household or the need for medications to be kept at a low temperature, and many people do have such needs. Montpellier and their âserviceâ is appalling and I am surprised to see anything other than one-star reviews on here, because certainly reviews on Google paint a very different picture, and I wish Iâd had the sense to read these last year, as I would never have purchased anything from Montpellier.
I bought a fridge freezer and washing machine having never had appliances from Montpellier before but i liked the retro style.
Both are great, the washing machine has some good functions and they look good.
Customer service has been brilliant, especially Carin who was knowledgeable and efficient.
It was delivered on time, it was fitted very quickly and it was tested before the engineer left.so for me it was top marks. Many thanks
This is an appalling machine. We were not around when it was installed as second home so no 1 monthâs grace. When I came to use it, it scrolled through languages and wouldnât accept English- a precursor to it working at all. Had to have the control unit changed before it would even tumble dry. Even now it puts on a child lock without any input from me- no children in the house. Quite often it takes me some time to get rid of the child lock with a new session. Tonight Iâd taken off the child lock and watched as it put it on again - I didnât touch it- and then take it off again. Donât buy- it is rubbish!
Bought a house that already had a Montpellier washing machine in it. Bag of crap. Washing came out dirtier than it went in. Got rid & plumbed my Bosch in. So much better, itâs like night & day.
Purchased a Montpelier cooker 15 months ago for my elderly relatives. Had nothing but trouble, poor service to obtain replacement parts and finally stopped working. Engineer said take to the tip, broken beyond repair. Cost £489 and lasted 15 months. Appalling !!
I am extremely disappointed with Montpellie appliances. I own an oven made by Montpellier, and when it recently needed a replacement part, I reached out to them for assistance. I provided them with all the necessary details about my appliance, including the model number and serial number. Despite this, I was informed that the part I need is not available anywhere.To make matters worse, they made no effort to suggest an alternative or a generic part that might work. It's frustrating that a company producing appliances wouldn't ensure the availability of essential spare parts or at least guide their customers on how to resolve the issue.The lack of support and customer service is very disappointing, and I would not recommend purchasing from them if you expect any kind of aftercare or assistance with parts. I now have an unusable oven and no clear solution in sight, all thanks to Montpellier's lack of concern for their customers.

I made a big mistake buying a Montpellier dishwasher, I registered it straight away and took out an extended warranty. The minute I went to use it the machine beeped throughout programme, I phoned Montpellier but found them unhelpful and rude. So I phoned were I bought it from, DB Domestics, who in truth should have just swapped it. They said we are the company they use for repairs anyhow so we will deal with it. So there a year of torture has started, it never goes more than a few weeks without playing up, they have just put a new PCB board in it. Apparently I am now to wait for a part that is out of stock because Montpellier will not give an uplift code so I can have a new machine, which is annoying as it never worked in the first place!! Just avoid Montpellier
My drier caught fire within in 2 minutes of a cycle according to the fire brigade due to an electrical fault
My appliance was less than 3 years old and cleaned after every use - there was no lint present.
It was only because I forgot something in the kitchen before I went upstairs that my house didn't burn down. Mine was a portable drier that I had right by the back door so I was able to lift it and move it into the yard while it was on fire to prevent damage to my property.
To add insult to injury, Montpellier refuse to refund the appliance. They took over their own 2 week deadline during which the appliance - which was left in the alley behind my back yard by the fire service to prevent damage to my property - was removed. After it their 2 week deadline they asked to collect the appliance which was no longer available and on this basis they won't refund.
I am mentally disabled and the inconvenience of not being able to dry my laundry or afford a new drier is having a severe impact on my routine and mental health. To get a refund I am having to go to a claims company which is stress I don't need. I am also going to the press because I think the country should know that Montpellier are negligent and dangerous.
Their machines are dangerous, they refuse to take accountability for fire risks and their customer service is terrible, AVOID AVOID AVOID
