Excellent once again
We have now bought four cars from Motorpoint Castleford. And we have not been disappointed on any of them. No pushy sales people , no " buy one now and save" tactics just good honest advice and information when you ask for it. And the team don't push if you say no they just move on. Excellent cars, excellent prices, excellent staff and if you see a car that you want at another of there branches they can get it for you. Ours this time came from Edinburgh. I can't find any fault with them but the biggest thing for me is no pushy salespeople.

Really friendly and knowledgeable team, no pressure or heavy sales pitch at all, nice relaxed atmosphere. Any help I needed was offered, when I’m looking to change my car again Motorpoint will be my first port of call.

Bad start, good finish.
My experience with the original booking was a bit of a disaster but they made it up when I arrived at the centre.only problem was that the second key had no battery.

The car I bought looked emaculate, so presentation of the cars is a key think . I didn’t quite get the money I wanted for my car but it was close to it. . The sales staff were very nice with no pressure sales . Ps the coffee was very nice too . 👍

If your selling a car then this is where to go...
From the simple website to booking an appointment it was totally stress free, at the appointment I was dealt with curtesey and pleasent sales force, they obviously had to check the vehicle and make sure it was how I described then they agreed the deal, I cannot fault them.

Regarding my recent visit to your branch on Saturday 31 January — also known as The Day Five Minutes Became Thirty.
After receiving my company car, I arranged an online valuation to sell my current car back to Motorpoint, having originally bought it from you in 2018. The valuation seemed fair, and based on my previous excellent experience, I arrived expecting another smooth, efficient handover. Foolishly optimistic, perhaps — but hopeful nonetheless.
I did have to reschedule my original appointment after misplacing my spare key (a thrilling subplot I’ll spare you), but I successfully rebooked for 13:00 on Saturday.
Upon arrival, we checked in and were told the team member we were due to see “wasn’t onsite” but would be back in five minutes. Great — we settled in.
Twenty-seven minutes later, armed with nothing but patience and mild confusion, I asked again. I was informed he still wasn’t onsite. After roughly 30 minutes past our appointment time — with no updates, no explanations, and no sense of when (or if) we might be seen — we decided to leave.
I completely understand that things happen. However, waiting half an hour beyond a booked appointment with zero communication isn’t ideal, and unfortunately it turned what should have been a straightforward visit into a rather disappointing experience — especially given my positive history with Motorpoint.
As a result, I’ll now be looking to sell my car elsewhere.
I mainly wanted to make you aware of what happened, and I’d appreciate any feedback on what went wrong — if only to reassure future customers that “five minutes” still means five minutes.

Shocking service at motorpoint when you sell your car to them, I sold my car to them back in November they said pay them £2500 and we will pay your finance off to hyundai brilliant that will do, Or no 2 months down the line not paid i kept ringing them they said they had paid it even sent me proof of payment but that was fake and lies, I kept ringing hyundai up accusing them but they couldn't find the payment didn't exist, so kept paying monthly payments off on old car that motorpoint now owned and also paying finance on my new car so not good before Christmas, so it came to January I rang hyundai up they said yeah motorpoint paid on 8th of January so all emails and phone calls was lies off motorpoint, so what I did is look if there was tax on my old car and there was they had sold it so they had been holding money back till they sold it fantastic service motorpoint, And yeah I have tried emailing you but totally ignored surprise surprise.
