I purchased this scanner in the United States . I expected the software to be in English . When my scanner became bricked , I received error in Chinese . This made it very confusing . Original download from Support Team did not work , instructions to click on Chinese icons could be better .I did not understand what I was clicking on . I am very happy now that my scanner is working ! Now I wonder if this will happen again , and wonder how long my scanner will work into the future ? I had 99 % confidence in my scanner as long as I did not forget to charge it ! Now my confidence is shaken , because I don't understand why my scanner became bricked. I purchased this legally, and registered it as expected . Also at time of purchase , it was stated it would work into future , with existing software if not updated . This was the main reason I purchased this scanner and not one from your competitors. I overall am happy with the Support Team , they got back to me multiple times and were patient. It also took me a while to research this problem online with no easy answers. Maybe THINKCAR could make a better quality video and post to Youtube ? Or possibly include videos and instructions built into scanner or include at least paper instructions shipped with scanner ? Another possibility would be to have a place to where scanner could be shipped for scanner renewal ? I hope this company continues to improve this product. Keeping my fingers crossed . I try to keep all my cars for at least 25 years and it would be great if my scanner works for at least that .

Well, For starters, I found exactly what i needed in this brand and model THINKSCAN 689BT. However, i was a bit disappointed when i saw it did not ship to Mauritius.
So i tried to contact the support, and to my amazement, i got immediate response and assistance and finally the issue was solved and was able to purchase the Diagnostic tool i wanted.

I bought a ThinkTool PROS scanner a couple of years ago. The ODB2 port also known as the VCI ceased to function. I reached out to find out how to get a replacement VCI, I got the information in email within less than one day and ordered the part. The part is coming from China so I assumed that it would take a long time but I already have an airway bill number and should get it at the end of this week. Outstanding!
