I had my car serviced last Tuesday, 7/7/26. Unfortunately, by Sunday, while driving on the Tuggeranong Parkway, I heard a loud metal scraping noise coming from underneath my car. At first, I thought I had a flat tyre or that the rim was scraping on the road, which was quite alarming. I inspected the car but did not know where it was coming from.

As a result, I was unable to make it to work on time, which meant letting my colleagues down, and I had to arrange for my car to be towed from a very busy parkway to have it inspected.

I returned the car to your workshop on Monday, where I was advised that the undercarriage flap had come loose because the screws had not been tightened sufficiently during the service. The screws were replaced, and I was able to continue on my way.

While I appreciate that the issue was relatively straightforward to fix, I was disappointed that no apology was offered for the inconvenience, stress, and disruption it caused. More importantly, the situation could have had much more serious consequences. Had the problem involved something more critical, such as a loose wheel or another safety-related component, the outcome could have been devastating.

I understand that mistakes can happen, and I appreciate that the issue was rectified. However, I believe every customer deserves careful attention and genuine care, particularly when their safety is involved. I hope you can appreciate how frightening this experience was and how easily it could have ended differently.

As a Registered Nurse, I strive to provide every patient with the highest standard of care because I know that every person is someone's loved one. I hope that same level of responsibility and care is reflected across all professions, especially when people's safety is entrusted to them.

I share this feedback not to assign blame, but in the hope that it encourages greater attention to detail and reinforces the importance of customer care and safety for everyone.

Quick and easy booking, friendly staff, checked before undertaking any additional services

The team are all lovely people, they listened to what was worrying me with my car which is really hard to find in Canberra as a female. They were very accommodating when I had to get my partner to drop off my car and pick it. They gave a qoute for what was to get done and stuck to it. Didn't call me with any issues

Woke up to a flat rear tyre and also a flat spare! The Wanniassa branch were great at booking me in for two new tyres with 30mins of the call and the Fyshwick branch had them changed in an hour. Cannot fault the speed or quality of the service or staff and big thanks to the Wanniassa branch for getting me in quickly!

I had a flat tyre with no spare to replace the flat, resulting in my vehicle needing to be towed to MyCar Fyshwick. To make it even more stressful, it was almost closing time leading into the Easter long weekend. Reece and the team were amazing they got it sorted on the spot. Reece was absolutely amazing, friendly and looked after me, the wait while my car was being done was relatively quick. I know my car is well looked after and unlike other mechanics Reece doesn't try to extort money out me being a woman, he is straight forward and explains what any issues that arise are and how we can fix them.

The mechanic Adam gave very good advice about the need for a rear spring upgrade on my tow vehicle and completed the trailer inspection and admin very quickly. Great service.
