Oh why didn't I read the reviews first?

Glitch on the order (their end)
I flagged it up, they issued a voucher for me to reorder (I asked for the original order to proceed but they cancelled it)
I re ordered but voucher did not work (waste of another hour of my time)
Super slow responses, I now have no tags and down $50
Absolute sham of a company

I first ordered our tag 5 weeks before receiving our puppy. Our puppy was a surprise for our kids and I made sure I ordered the tag well in advance as the tag was part of the surprise. Unfortunately, the tag just never arrived. I contacted the company and they advised they were unable to track the item, which was a surprise, but they went ahead and ordered a second tag for us. I appreciated the gesture, but was still disappointed we didn’t receive the tag. I have ordered other various puppy items online during COVID, including one from o/s, and all were received well within 5 weeks time, plus, like most other businesses, they offered a tracking service. The second tag took just as long and I didn’t think it was going to arrive at all. They agreed to issue a refund and then surprisingly, the second order finally arrived. I let them know, so they issued a PayPal invoice for me to pay again. The only good thing about this company was the email communication. They were quick to reply.
Regarding delivery, had I known it was going to take so long to arrive, no problem, but their website states “average delivery time is 5-7 working days”. If they are experiencing such long delays with orders, they should at least warn customers on their website.

It has been a month this week and still no tags have been sent.
No tracking.
They took my money and claimed that they are Kiwi company and send to you within 24 hours.
Turns out they are in Spain??
Terrible.

As other reviews state, tags made in Switzerland not NZ like you are led to believe. I've wasted my money as I now have to buy more tags, I've waited three weeks already and could be waiting another month, obviously I need tags before then. They won't post my review or contact me. Terrible. DO NOT SHOP HERE.

Comes up as a New Zealand (.co.nz) website and has everything in NZD - but after no delivery in over a month, when contacted they said these ship from Switzerland! Very disappointing given that we know of the huge delays in getting stuff posted from overseas lately, and would not have ordered otherwise as thought we were buying locally.

Disguised to look like an NZ business. After ordering you find the tag is shipped from overseas. Told 5-10 days when ordering, but it took over 2 months to arrive. Screen printed, not engraved - poor quality, text will rub off. Quite expensive for what it is - turns out many local pet stores can engrave tags quickly, cheaper, and much better quality results

The tag took a while to arrive, but that's understandable since international shipping is currently delayed. The customer service staffs were very helpful when I had questions about my order. The tag looks great on my cat.

Took a bit to get to me but I’m sure that’s due to no fault of their own, good quality tags, I should’ve put less writing though as it’s quite small and blurred

The tags look fantastic on our dogs. The writing is much clearer than other engraved ones we have purchased. Though it took a little longer to get to us in Australia, it was well worth the wait. We will definitely be purchasing more in the future.

Pandemic made the postage slow, I emailed and they were quick to reply. They explained and I understood and waited, eventually it arrived a few days after it was meant to.
When I got my package I was beyond disappointed.
The tag was plasticity and cheap looking, not what I expected from the website at all.
The writing all though was accurate, ultimately doesn’t matter as the writing wore away 2 weeks after my dog wearing her tag.
I was also promised an additional tag when I purchased my first one as I spent over a total amount of money and they also didn’t send this out.
Such bad quality and wasn’t cheap, WOULD NOT BUY from them ever again!!!!!

My order of two dog tags took 7 weeks to arrive but that is due to the postal service. Once I had let the company know that my purchase had not yet arrived they resent my purchase using a second postal service and offered a partial refund and it arrived within a week. Will purchase from the business again

DO NOT BUY FROM THEM. If I could rate zero stars I would as I haven't received my order and it's been more than a month. They are quick to respond to my emails and promise it will be delivered any day and offered a refund but I've not received either. Did some online research and many people have had the same experience and saying this is a scam. I'm reporting them to the authorities for fraud and theft.

I ordered a tag a few months ago - and think in pandemic craziness, it got lost. The team were prompt and responsive, great at responding to my emails - and after I had lost hope they provided me with a refund. Today it turned up - great!

Lovely product and good customer assistance

Hello. i give them a 3. the tags are good but not great. The tags are made of cheap light weight aluminum and would be much better and durable if made of Stainless steel. I expect my dog will break the eye on the tag within 6months (no she won't bite it, just through normal running around will pull the hole through . Plus the key ring and this goes for all tag makers. this won't last a month.

Also not that it bothers me but this website is slightly missleading ,you think you are buying from a NZ company, but its an overseas company in disgise

Extremely happy with variety and options available with Mydogtags. Took a little longer (2 weeks) to arrive due to the distance to Australia and the Chinese Flu holding up the works but otherwise was delighted when they arrived.

Also had excellent communication when I sent an email concerned regarding their whereabouts and had a prompt reply within the hour.

Highly recommended and will use their service again.
