I am still receiving marketing messages. I asked them to remove my data after I received unsolicited emails, yet I just received a text message that they expect me to opt out of. I never opted into this.

I needed some advice about heating a large studio for a non-profit organisation. We need an efficient heating system that doesn't cost the earth.

Danny Foster was so helpful! He immediately understood what we needed. He was patient and extremely knowledgeable, taking the time to explain everything clearly. I have already spoken to several companies about the heating issue but Danny came up with cost-effective solutions that nobody else had mentioned.

We will definitely be using National Heater Shops to heat our space!

Scam website. I ordered a part for my heater and it didn't arrive but they said it did. Disgraceful. I will be speaking to Barclays about it today.

We ordered an Evap large fan for our new gym, unfortunately we had a few issues. First there was a delay in delivery which was the fault of DHL. When the fan finally arrived it was damaged. However, Chris Dursley was on it straight away, he replied instantly and was super helpful in chasing them and getting a replacement out to us straight away, no question. We now have the fan and it is perfect for our gym. Great customer service, could not fault them would definitely use again.

No delivery after 4 working days even though it said "next day". When I wanted to chase it up I realised there was no order confirmation email sent to me, but the money has been taken from my credit card.

I cannot get any answer on the telephone or email for the last 2 working days.

Glad a paid with my credit card so I can get the money back if I don't get any reply by Monday afternoon!

Great company to deal with, specifically advice on dehumidifiers. Dealt with Danny and Chris who were great. NHS also priced matched when I found the item cheaper with a competitor .

The product I ordered - a portable air conditioner - is fine and arrived in good condition. It was described as 'quiet'. Compared to my vacuum cleaner maybe. But I guess that is as much a fault of the manufacturer.

The exhaust duct extension hose I ordered, which was offered on the checkout page simply by ticking a box and you would therefore assume was made to fit, did not fit at all. I had to use extremely tight bungees just to get it to stay on the unit. It was also poor quality - hopelessly thermally inefficient (which mean most of the heat just ended up back in the room) and I managed to cut my finger on the sharp wires poking from each end of it.

To be fair, I did get a full refund for this, but I am left without a usable device.

But my real problem with National Heater Shops is their returns procedure. It involves a whopping 'restocking fee'. These are normal with certain products but I have never seen one as high. I calculated that, by the time I had included post and packing and this fee, I'd be lucky to get back much more than half of what I paid.

So, Buyer, be very careful before ordering. Make sure you that what you are ordering really is the right product for you.

They did what they said they would do. The product is first class, at a very good price and works well.

The item arrived in good condition very quickly.

My only criticism is that they were unable to tell me when it was arriving, not even which day, so that I could make sure someone was at home. As it happened the driver phoned me and said he was at my gate. I was in so there was no problem but there could have been.

Overall a first class company and a first class product. I will definitely use them again.

Absolutely disgusting service.

Paid over £600 for an a/c unit with a 6m extension pipe. A/C unit came but no extension asked for a full refund heard nothing then get invoice for the complete order. I’m still waiting on contact from the poor CS team who have no compassion.
