Ordered a sofa online, charged for delivery although should have been free. Tried several times to contact them via email and phone and no response!! Not feeling confident that order will ever arrive now. Very poor customer service.

Gary provided excellent and informative service

Visited a few stores before deciding to buy feom NCF. The furniture we have chosen felt more comfortable and as sturdy as other stores we had tried but at a lot less cost (yes the availability of materials was a lot less than others but the colour and material we went for was what we wanted anyway!).
We dealt with Christina on 31st October discussing options and went back to.purchase on 1st November. Her knowledge and general conversation was.excellent with no suggestion or indicationnof any pressure type selling.
Looking forward to getting the furniture!

Not pushy, provided advice and guidance

We have had a nightmare. Sofa was ordered in July, advised 7 to 9 weeks delivery. Paid half up front on a credit card (thankfully). In week 8 we were told the sofa was ready, they wanted the balance via BACs. I was wary so went into the shop and paid by card (thankfully). Was told I would get a text off the delivery company. Heard nothing so a week later started to call NCF. Over the course of 4 weeks I wasnt able to get through on the 0121 number, nobody ever answered. They were also slow to reply to emails. The only way I could get them on the phone was to go to the Chester store and complain. They then managed to get somebody to call me back on the same number I had been trying. So over the next 4 weeks I went into the store once a week to complain and on 4 occasions they called me back, each time telling me that my query had been escalated. However it transpired my sofa had been lost! After the 4th call back I gave up and contacted my credit card company to start a dispute and luckily got my money back. Also we were advised the sofa was UK made but later learnt that they come from China. A terrible company with non existent customer service. Also we were asked to leave a Review at point of sale as it helps staff get a day off and that's why their score is so high. I wish I hadn't. Be very very careful.
