I cannot recommend Angela highly enough. Working with a truly neurodiversity-affirming therapist has been entirely life-changing for me. Before our sessions, I often felt disconnected, but she has guided me to look inward and gain a profound sense of preparedness in a world that sometimes feels as though it wasn't built for a mind like mine.
Being neurodivergent can be an incredibly lonely and isolating journey. However, through working with Angela, I finally feel understood, grounded, and fully equipped to navigate life on my own terms. She has completely transformed my relationship with myself and helped me align my way of thinking with the world around me.
If you are looking for a therapist who genuinely strives to meet you in your world and work with you from there, Angela is absolutely that person.

I contacted Cara in early 2023 as she was recommended me following my ADHD diagnosis. As a 33 year old woman, mum of 2, wife, full time working professional and student I was struggling to cope with my many commitments and approached Cara at my lowest point. I thought that receiving a diagnosis of ADHD would be the answer to all my challenges and, whilst the medication was helpful, it did not resolve the very practical barriers that were leading me to feel overwhelmed. I could not have imagined at that point, that 2 years on I would be happily employed in my dream new job, have moved house and have all the tools and skills to help me to cope on a daily basis. And this is exactly where I am now, and I honestly could not have got here without the support and coaching that Cara has provided. I totally underestimated how valuable coaching can be and I am so grateful for the skills I have gained over the last 2 years. Cara has helped me to recognize the areas where I could make positive changes and with her encouragement and guidance, I have identified new methods of approaching tasks and situations, which in turn has reduced my feelings of overwhelm. Coaching has helped me to set realistic goals which I have been able to achieve. One of the things I enjoyed most about Cara’s sessions, is that she always has practical tips or tricks that I can use (such as AI tools) to help me overcome the practical barriers that I have faced. Cara’s approach is one that is non-judgmental, empathetic and encouraging and most of all Cara has empowered me to make improvements in every aspect of my life. Through this process I have also come to realize that whilst my ADHD symptoms persist, my diagnosis does not define me. Most of all, I have found my confidence and through each small achievement I have regained my sense of purpose and value. Thank you Cara for being the most inspiring and incredible coach, you have helped me to change my life for the better.

I am so grateful for the supervision group with Neuro Directions. Cara has created an incredibly supportive and sound space for coaches and practitioners to develop and ensure they maintain safety and quality in their practice.

Group supervision is absolutely FANTASTIC! What I love so much are two things.

1. The resources that are provided each month are enough to build up a personal professional library. And as we know as coaches we never stop learning.
2. The monthly group supervisions are the most curious and kind space to explore and dig deep into whatever the subject focus is. I really value my colleagues, their experiences and perspectives are so insightful and more space to really embody things we understand.

I attend the monthly coaching supervision sessions with Neuro Directions and I absolutely love it! It's a really well facilitated and welcoming space, and provides an opportunity to connect with other coaches and to discuss ideas and experiences around common themes that occur in neurodiversity coaching.

Amongst other things, Cara offers monthly themed peer supervision sessions for professionals: these are a fantastic way to share learning, experiences, approaches and ideas. I have gained a huge amount from working in the same space as Cara in recent years, and can't recommend Neuro Directions highly enough.

As a new coach, working towards an ADHD Specialist Coaching Qualification, I was keen to ensure that I continue to challenge my learning and development. I reached out to Cara from Neuro Directions and I am currently attending monthly group supervision.
These sessions have been so insightful. There is a significant amount of planning put in to the theme for the session with a rich variety of resources shared to inform and enhance the discussions which take place. The dialogue during the sessions encourages me to continue to be curious and I feel like a sponge taking in the different knowledge and perspectives of the other coaches on the call. Cara has created a safe and nurturing environment which I am privileged to be part of!

I have recently joined the group supervision with NeuroDirections and I could not be more pleased with my choice. Cara is an extremely knowledgeable professional and a master in her field. She puts a lot of work into each session, providing us with relevant resources and skilfully facilitating the conversation within the group. I am very happy with the Neuro Directions group supervision. It’s very neuro-affirming, something I’ve not experienced before in coach supervision. The container feels very safe and the sessions are always insightful.

Supervision sessions with Cara from Neuro Directions have been of high quality and continue to offer participants an opportunity to discuss various issues relating to neurodiversity. The evidence based resources ie articles, podcasts, Cara provides have been of a high standard and offers me the opportunity to extend my knowledge and how this may be relevant when working with my clients.

The sessions are well organised from start to finish. Cara sends out an email prior to each session with links to a range of resources and scientific articles relating to that month's supervision topic. I find this so helpful in preparing what I take to the session. The sessions are well run and always plan in time for peer support and sharing of resources and strategies. The sessions are recorded and I find the session recording a useful resource in itself.

Cara is a fantastically skilled leader in this area. To be part of the supervision groups is a privilege because it is through these groups that my knowledge and understanding has grown to a level whereby my clients can benefit enormously. Each supervision covers a key area and Cara ensures we are given excellent resources to discuss. I thoroughly recommend these groups!
