Late customs notice caused the return of a work laptop
I had a very disappointing experience with an international shipment from the Netherlands to Ukraine.
The parcel was sent on June 10 and reached customs on June 19. However, I was informed that an additional power of attorney was required only on June 25â26, after I had submitted multiple complaints to Nova Post and repeatedly asked for clarification.
The person originally listed as the sender was no longer available by that time. We tried to resolve the issue by providing documents from the laptop owner and arranging a new power of attorney from another authorized individual. However, the requirements, the acceptable form of the document, and the necessary sender details were not explained clearly or early enough.
The parcel was returned to the original sender before the issue could be fully resolved, even though Nova Post had been informed that this person was no longer connected to the laptop and could not handle the return.
For international shipments, customers should be notified about customs requirements immediately after the parcel reaches customs. A clear list of documents, consistent instructions, and sufficient time to correct sender information could have prevented this situation.
Nova Post - the worst-organized delivery service in Prague
Nova Post is a delivery company that forces customers to waste an entire day due to the lack of basic logistics planning.
Unfortunately, almost every delivery turns into a frustrating experience.
Nova Post in Prague still operates on a "the courier will arrive whenever they arrive" basis, forcing customers to wait all day without any indication of the expected delivery time.
What makes this particularly surprising is that in the Czech Republic, literally every major delivery company already provides a delivery time window in advance, allowing people to plan their day accordingly.
It creates the impression that the company's customers' time simply has no value.
If you have the option to use an alternative delivery service, I would strongly recommend doing so.

I would like to share my extremely disappointing experience with Nova Poshta Global.
I sent an international package containing a computer processor worth approximately $300. The package was accepted at the branch, and the final packaging was completed by company employees after the shipment had been handed over.
When the package arrived, the recipient discovered that the processor was missing.
What makes this situation even more upsetting is that the processor was a birthday gift for my niece. She had been eagerly waiting for it, as she needed it for her studies and work.
I filed an official claim and provided all available information. However, my compensation request was denied. The reason given was that the box showed no visible external damage.
In my opinion, the absence of visible damage to the packaging does not automatically prove that the contents could not have been accessed or removed. An intact-looking box does not answer the main question: how did a key item disappear from an international shipment?
What is even more frustrating is that international shipping and customs-related charges were paid based on the declared contents of the package, including the processor that the recipient never received. In other words, I paid for the shipment and processing of an item that ultimately did not reach its destination.
As a former Nova Poshta employee with many years of experience, I understand how logistics processes work. That is why it is especially disappointing to see a customer left without compensation, without clear answers, and without a satisfactory resolution when a valuable item goes missing.
In the end, I lost valuable property, paid shipping and related costs, and received no meaningful explanation regarding what happened to my package.
For me, this is not only a matter of financial loss. It is also a matter of customer responsibility, service quality, and trust. Unfortunately, the way this situation was handled did not meet the standards I expected from the company.

My experience with Nova Poshta Moldova. 15-20 minutes it too short notice to leave everything behind and run home to receive the package anytime of the day. The only time window given was "within 2-3 days". But no idea what time exactly or at least if it would be morning, lunch time or evening. So I would have to be ready to react and run home the moment they call. It's not realistic. At least a time range should be given. Or at least accept me to inform you when I definitely won't be home. When I tried, the response was passive aggressive even though I was very polite and spoke the local language. Finally, I was given the choice to pick it up from Nova Poshta's office, which I happily accepted. The whole phone conversation made me feel like I had done something terribly wrong when I was simply requesting information from the information line, a number that exists for such questions.

Address delivery was made 100 meters from the house (not to mention to the door) they made a reservation which was unnecessary, which made the delivery price expensive. Very bad service. Why provide address delivery if you can't do it?

Hello! I was sent a parcel with documents from Ukraine in the middle of January 2026. The cost of my documents was almost 300 pounds. After 2 weeks of waiting, I was informed that they were lost. I was refunded just with 50 pounds. It was very upsetting, because it took me quite a long time to produce these documents. I wish no one agreed to use Nava Post services. This is the worst company I ever worked with.

Wir hatten anfangs wegen teils schlechten Bewertungen Zweifel aber die Sendung wurde tadellos zugfestellt. Die telefonische Auskunft habe ich mehrmals ohne Probleme kontaktiert. Alles hat gut funktioniert: Anholung, Sendungsverfolgung, Zustellung und Ãbergabe an der Poststation in der Ukraine an den EmpfÀnder. Ich bin begeistert und dankbar!

Nova Post is a pseudo postal service that I would recommend everyone stays away from! I paid for express delivery of a parcel which was supposed to come before Christmas. On the tracking website I received a failed delivery attempt at 19 h. on 10 December. We are at home at that time as we have a baby, however, supposedly if the courier came, he did not bother to leave a note about where and how to find my parcel. On the next few days I see that my parcel is held at "a post office". No one knew which post office that was, including the customer support of the postal service who said on the phone that they did not have information about my parcel and that they would return the call which they never did. Moreover , the company lists some addresses of post offices on their website, one of which I visited looking for my parcel, and surprise, no one has ever heard of this company! The seller who is using the services of the postal service could not help either, as a result of which I lost money and my sister's Christmas present! Outrageous! Avoid at all cost!
