ticket not available and was refunded the money

Basically you think you’re buying a ticket, but you’re not. They have no contact to the transportation entity at the time of your transaction. After they get your money they will “try” to buy you a ticket but most of the time what you receive is a worthless coupon in the value of what you paid, “good for bus tickets for the next 6 months”.

Edit 24 hours later: I was contacted by their Customer Service and was refunded the money paid for the ticket they were unable to obtain. I beleive that’s a very honest way to deal with the situation. I changed my rating accordingly to 4 stars.

Бих ги оценила с 1. Купих билет за 27.05 от Onilet платформата, но веднага щом получих билета, получавам известие от презвозвача, че няма места и било възможно да тръгна за Варна чак на 28.05. На другият ден цял ден водих чат с оператор на фирма Е. Лайн-Тур (ФОП Савчук Р. В.), които се държеше много мутренски и неадекватно, не ми се извиниха, че трябваше още 1 ден да остана в Киев, а аз съм българка и ми объркаха трансферите. С тях комуникацията е кошмарна! Не пожелаха поне да ми сменят часа на тръгване, вместо 6.40ч., настояваха за 10ч, както беше от фалшивият билет. Автобусите им изчезват по разписание и въобще цялата им фирма е боклук!. Никакво разписание не спазват, WI-FI не работеше в автобуса, бях пратена отзад, където постоянно се чуваше някакъв много силен звук, във Варна пристигнахме с 2ч. закъснение. Повече с тази фирма няма да пътувам и призовавам хората, ако искат да са спокойни и те да не я ползват! Не си заслужава да се спестят няколко евро за нервите, които ще травмират!! Голямо безобразие!!!

It is a scammer,when I try to contact ,they don't answer.

​I am writing to formally request an immediate and full refund for an online ticket purchased through your platform, which your transport partner (Sindbad) failed to honor due to a system booking error.
​Furthermore, due to currency exchange and international transfer fees, my bank account was charged a total of £123.00 GBP for this transaction, which is the exact amount I am claiming back.
​The Details of the Booking:
​Platform: Obilet RO Travel Technologies S.R.L.
​Passenger Name: Kun Fang
​PNR / Booking Reference: DISTRBERL00017216929|20260520
​Carrier: Sindbad (Bus 3)
​Date of Journey: 23.05.2026
​Route: London Victoria Coach Station to Bruxelles
​Description of the Incident:
Upon arrival at London Victoria Coach Station to board the bus on May 23, 2026, the Sindbad staff checked their terminal and stated that my name was completely missing from their passenger manifest, despite my valid Obilet confirmation.
​Because the staff could not find the booking in their system, I was forced to leave the bus, find an ATM to withdraw cash, and purchase a brand-new physical ticket directly from the bus pilot for 441.94 PLN / £90.00 (Ticket No. EL 24318084) just so I would not be left behind.
​Because of a technical breakdown between Obilet and Sindbad, the service I paid you for was never delivered, forcing me to pay twice for the exact same journey.
​I have attached the following evidence:
​Obilet Email Confirmation: Showing my valid online purchase.
​Bank Statement Screenshot: Showing the total £123.00 GBP deducted from my account for this specific Obilet transaction.
​Physical Ticket & Fiscal Cash Receipt: Proving that I had to purchase a duplicate ticket on-board from Sindbad.

Non sono stato rimborsato anche se avevo tutta la ragione

Ciao io ho acquistato un biglietto da Obilet.ro loro mi hanno mandato il biglietto per viaggiare con Transfer Low Cost SRL Romania che mi hanno lasciato a piedi e ho dovuto arrangiarmi da solo alle 02.30 di notte.Ho chiesto il rimborso a Transfer Low Cost SRL non hanno voluto farlo mi sono rivolta a Obilet.ro ne anche loro non mi hanno rimborsato
Il mio consiglio dopo questa esperienza e meglio acquistare direttamente dalle compagnie invece di farlo tramite intermediari

Took my money and ghosted me.

After struggling to find a payment method they finally accept, they took my money, gave me an error stating “error related to our company, try again later” and dipped. I wish I could attach a photo to show the ridiculous error message. After trying to contact their live services numerous times, I was ignored. Shame. This is my first bad review for a company ever, I feel bad writing this but I don’t want others to get scammed too.

I bouth bus tickets

I bouth bus tickets. Some things go wrong. Ticket were annulated. Everything was in Spanish. They sent a code to buy new tickets. That don't work. My money was lost. 1 month later they give a part of the money back. Good services at the end

The promised refund that never been processed.

Bought 2 tickets from Kapadokya VIP on this app to return to Istanbul. We were waiting at the terminal in middle of the night. Past 45 minutes from the departure time yet none of the bus came. We asked the operator and they said the bus was cancelled and to request our refund money from obilet. Reached obilet customer service via online chat and they promised to refund within 7 working days. In between those days, we have contacted our bank yet they said no refund money were recieved from obilet. In conclusion, OBILET IS A SCAMMER!!!! We regularly keep connect to the online chat to ask for this issue to be resolved yet same replies were given bla bla bla. PLEASE DO NOT USE THIS AGENCY SERVICE!!!! SCAMMER!!!! They scam our money :)

Very disappointing service

This was the worst ticket booking experience I have ever had. Please, if you do not want problems and stress, never buy tickets on obilet.com.
I bought a bus ticket in Bulgaria from Sunny Beach to Varna because I had a flight from Varna Airport. I also paid extra for “Priority Support,” expecting better customer service in case of problems. However, just one minute before the scheduled departure time, the bus company sent an e-mail saying that the bus would be delayed by 2 hours. Waiting for the bus would have caused me to miss my flight, so I had no choice but to take an extremely expensive taxi to Varna.
After this situation, I contacted obilet.com through their LiveChat and by e-mail to request a refund for the bus ticket. Nobody replied. The LiveChat does not work at all, and “Priority Support” is clearly a scam because there was absolutely no support when I needed help urgently.
I will never use this website again, and I definitely do not recommend it to anyone. Very disappointing service, no real customer support, and a complete waste of money.

Waiting for a ghost bus

So here I am, at midnight in a city in the middle of nowhere in southeast Turkey. Waiting for a bus that does not exist.

Yes ladies and gentlemen, the ticket I bought online from obilet was for a bus line that does not exist, run by a company no single staff or administration at the station had heard of.

Obilet's customer service was a complete joke. And the company phone number in the ticket does not answer.

Moral of the story, if there are decent alternatives than obilet, use those safer alternatives. If you're a risky fella and have a sleeping bag you could use on a bus station's bench, then obilet might be a worthy risk.

Paid for a ticket, no bus, no support – Be careful with Obilet

I booked a bus ticket through Obilet while traveling in Turkey.

On February 23, 2025, I arrived at the designated departure point in Istanbul before the scheduled time. However, the bus never arrived.

There was no announcement, no delay notice, and no staff available. I was left waiting with no information.

I contacted Obilet support to request assistance and a refund, but I did not receive any meaningful response.

Please note: Trustpilot only allows me to select a recent date (April 18, 2026 or later), but this incident actually happened on February 23, 2025. I am stating the correct date here for accuracy.

Only later did I realize that Obilet positions itself as an “intermediary,” which makes it very difficult to get support when something goes wrong. From a customer perspective, this means you can pay for a service, not receive it, and still be left without support.

The bus operator listed on my ticket was Kamil Koç. Since the booking and payment were handled through Obilet, I expected at least basic support or guidance, but that did not happen.

This experience was stressful and unacceptable, especially in a foreign country.

If you are considering using Obilet, be aware of this risk.

I have now contacted the bus company directly and am waiting for their response. I will update this review accordingly.

Update:
After posting this review, I received a reply from Obilet asking me to contact their support team again.

However, I have already contacted their customer support more than 100 times since last year regarding this issue, and I have never received any meaningful help or resolution.

This kind of response appears to be just a generic template, not a real attempt to solve the problem.

So to be clear:
Even if you follow their instructions and contact support, you may still get no response and no solution.

I am sharing this update so other customers understand the reality of the situation.

I am still waiting for a proper and responsible response.

They don't take any responsibilities

This company is just there to make money between you and the bus companies. I had a bus that broke barely one hour after it left. It took more than 5 hours for a replacement bus to arrive. I had a flight to catch and the bus wouldn't arrive on time and I had to book an expensive flight midway in order to catch my return flight. After talking with client service, they don't want to know anything and take no responsibility and don't even pay back the bus ticket because the "bus arrived at destination" (with more than 5 hrs delay).

Untrustworthy and useless. Next time I'll book directly through the bus company.

Bus not show up, still couldn't get my ticket refund

I have booked a bus ticket for my husband through their apps. My husband showed up at the correct bus platform but no bus there. His bus supposed to depart at 7am. He waited till 7:30am but the bus still not show up. I have contacted their online customer service. They could not locate the vehicle and contact the bus company Lider Istanbul. They did provide me contact number of Lider. I called but no one answer. My husband has forced to buy another bus ticket with another company depart 7 hours later. I spent another Euro60. I have requested refund of my original ticket. Obilet says they are waiting for Lider to respond. It's has been nearly 3 days. I have just contacted Lider (with the same number I phoned that morning) and they claimed that my husband's ticket was not on their system, but he did says our number was not Turkish number. They had tried so hard to contact us?! How he know if my husband's details if he did not see his booking. I do not know which side lies. All I want is to get my refund immediately.

No bus at all!!!

We bought our tickets online but there was no bus at the time ( and that day overall ) and we had to pay 70€ for a taxi, so we don’t miss our flight.
Awful!
