I put some shoes in my shopping basket…

I put some shoes in my shopping basket to buy, and left them there for a few day. When I returned to purchase them I just clicked through but the price had changed. Office had raised the price of the shoes but kept them in the basket.

Really bad practice in my opinion. Now I have to can and will likely lose money.

I have contacted customer services via…email and social media

I have contacted customer services via email and received a reply, every time I try to respond to email bounces back. I am wanting a copy of my receipt for a pair of shoes I purchased from the Meadowhall shop on 30 December which the strap has since broken on, I have only worn them for less than 3 weeks. I have provided a copy of the transcation on my credit card but I have been told I need the receipt to even have the shoes changed, I do not want my money back. This is the most ridiculous thing ever! I am trying to give the last 4 digits of my card number but I can't them them through. If the person who had read my email where I had given the information properly she would have seen that I have provided this information already. As there is no telephone number for customer services I am at a loss what to do next?

Make it impossible to get your money back
I was on holiday when a yodel driver apparently delivered my parcel. There was no CCVT footage of anyone coming up my path with a parcel on the date they stated it had been delivered. I contacted office who told me to contact yodel and report this. Once I did this yodel told me to report it back to office … since doing so they have requested I agree to say my parcel hasn’t been delivered.. which I already had. And now they’re saying I need to print out and sign a document in order to carry out their investigation. I am the one who is at loss for a £150 parcel and I am being passed around from pillar to post. I have now decided to contact my bank and await an outcome from the dispute. This has been ongoing since Christmas and it’s now February in a few days time. Worst company ever will never shop with office again or yodel.

Disappointing Customer Service and Rigid Returns Policy

I’m incredibly disappointed with the customer service and lack of flexibility shown by OFFICE regarding a recent issue. I attempted to return a pair of unworn boots, purchased as a gift, which cost £190. Unfortunately, I was six days outside the 28-day returns period due to being out of the country, along with personal circumstances such as work commitments and childcare responsibilities.

Despite explaining the situation, OFFICE flatly refused to consider any flexibility or goodwill gesture, stating that their policy couldn’t be overturned under any circumstances. Even when I asked if they could provide a voucher instead of a refund, they still refused. The boots remain unworn and in their original condition, and as a loyal customer, I feel this rigid approach lacks empathy and understanding, especially for such a high-value item.

The entire process felt dismissive, with little effort made to resolve the issue or accommodate reasonable requests. As a result, I will never shop at OFFICE again and strongly urge others to avoid doing so as well. A company unwilling to show any level of understanding or consideration for its customers does not deserve your business.

DISGUSTING SERVICE - don’t order from OFFICE SHOES

DISGUSTING SERVICE from office customer service - can’t speak to a human - everything has to be done via email or live chat. Ordered over £300 of trainers so we can choose a preferred colour way - upon opening the box only 1 pair of trainers in the parcel and other shoe box empty - co texted office immediately to request replacement - after a week of backwards and forwards with office they have told me there is nothing they can do!!!!!!! So I am £300 down with nothing to show for it. DO NOT ORDER FROM THIS JOKE OF A COMPANY. I’ve contacted yodel who said office need to claim with them for the missing item - but no office won’t do anything else.

Absolutely shocking!

Absolutely shocking!! Companies like this should be held accountable and should not be allowed to trade. You should not be able to sell to consumers without having any customer service. Ordered shoes to be delivered to store, heard nothing for 6 days, I call up the store and they tell me there is no stock in the business. Happy to take my money and then not even inform me they dont even have the stock. Terrible

Poor Customer Experience

No accountability for the delivery of items via Yodel in December 2024
My daughter ordered an item in the first week in December 2024 for an Xmas present for someone. Yodel confirmed received then they went missing so they were reordered by Office . She has still not received them after yodel saying they had been delivered! All Office can say is they are investigating . Meanwhile they have had her money since 3rd Dec 2024 and it is now 20th January 2025 .

Awful awful- stay away

I ordered some trainers for a Christmas present in December. I could not get to the door in time when they attempted delivery, and yodel won’t leave them in a safe place so I had to rearrange a date so did delivery to local yodel pick up. It never went there- went missing and then got returned to office. I have been chasing this for nearly a month now (with email after email) and they won’t issue a refund as apparently the shoes are at a store. I have no idea which store as this was not my request. The customer service agents keep asking stupid questions like - it says you have collected, or do you know which store?! They should know where my order is as otherwise I wouldn’t be contacting them!! Office and yodel are useless! I have asked for a refund five times and the response I keep getting is- we can’t issue a refund as this is under investigation, please give us 3-5 working days blah blah blah. There is no investigation- I don’t have my order they have taken my money, the item is goodness know where! Awful shoddy service and will never buy from office again! Will be escalating to trading standards. Wish I had read these reviews before ordering! Stay away!!!!

Scam never received the order

I wish I read the reviews on Trustpilot before making any purchases with this disgraceful company.
I purchased 3 pairs of Timberland boots and never got delivered.
Yodel had my delivery and confirmed they would deliver 3 times but failed. I had to contact customer service from Yodel which said the parcel was out for delivery that morning. At 11 am I had an email from Yodel explaining there was a problem with the address and my parcel was going back to Office and no further communication.
I contacted Office and requested an explanation. They replied all we know is there is an issue with the address and we are waiting for the parcel to be returned to us. I clearly stated to them that there was no issue with the address as they managed to take the payment from the card which was registered to the same address as the delivery at which point they completely ignored my point and said they would send the order to me when they receive the parcel back from Yodel. The order was made in December 2024 and currently January 2025 I still have no order and no refund. Until Yodel returns the parcel to Office there is nothing they can do.
Don't waste your time and money it's a scam and customer service is diabolical the worst ever.
I will take the matter further and report the company (Office) as I feel they have breached the Consumer Rights Act 2015

Non existent customer service


You sent
Ordered shoes last week paid for speedy delivery and haven’t received them yet. Impossible to contact them. No phone number, live chat not working. Sent an email, no reply. Never ordering anything from Office again. Thought I was dealing with a serious and reliable company.

THIEVES

THIEVES. NEVER BUY FROM THIS COMPANY. Sent a faulty pair of shoes back to be 'assessed' and the company told me for an entire month my refund was coming when in actual fact the shoes have been 'lost' and therefore not assessed. I now do not have my shoes OR my refund and dealing with their customer service is an absolute joke. One customer service member lied to me the entire month about the status of the refund. I am seeking legal advice via the Ombudsmen and the Trading Standards Office.

they do not understand customer service

Ordered shoes on 04/12, allegedly despatched on 06/12. emailed and tried auto chat(absolute waste of time) each email took 2-3 days to be answered and answer was poor. 'I can see it was scanned yesterday' My shoes eventually turned up today 23/12. I bought a pair from somewhere else so I will be returning these ones.
Customer service is not what this company understands.

AVOID

Ordered at the beginning of December for a Christmas gift, stated 3-5 days delivery. It's now 23rd December and after numerous attempts to make contact I've just been told my parcel is on its way back to Office for some reason. Very difficult to get in contact with Office, no customer support, no product. Awful company. AVOID!

Do not order!
Shoes did not come at all, Office will not refund me. Order was over £100.

Common themes here guys

Common themes here guys, I ordered a pair of Ugg boots, got a random photo of someone’s front door and got brushed off, kept plugging away though and got the boots in the end. Mathew in customer care is pioneer in leading the way for Office, when I asked him why the delay was he said I would have to ask Yodel, goodbye basically. I did point out that he was missing the point and his job title had the word care in it but his lack of education prevents him from understanding the word care, he needs help Office. People, Office don’t care and Yodel are as bad sending random photos and are just really bad at what they do, office and Yodel are match made in heaven. My strong advice to all of you is spread the word about office to stop people being disappointed, do NOT buy from office. My money says they are already on the way to liquidation, very poorly ran company.

I feel conned

We haven’t received an expensive pair of Ugg slippers from Office. Delivery confirmation says that Yodel delivered but the picture is NOT our house. Office have NOT offered a refund or replacement. They do not care. Can we organise a group Small Claims class action? There are many of us in the same position. Surely Office can’t take our hard earned money like this?

Ordered shoes 23rd November, and got message from yodel to say lost parcel. Cant speak to anyone on live chat or social media. no shoes and no refund. Shocking especially this time of year,
never again.
Can I ask did anyone ever get a refund ??

DO NOT BUY FROM OFFICE

Absolutely disgusted with Office and will never use them again.
I ordered a pair of Ugg boots for my daughter on the 28th November and was emailed to say they’d been sent out the day after. It’s now the 16th December and they have not been delivered. Office have not been any help at all eventhough I’ve been in touch many times with Cameron pleading for help or a refund. Clearly they have no customer service whatsoever and simply don’t care.
