I don't understand how so many 'people' here have had such a good experience with a company that does not deliver on promised services and does not answer to support tickets after they take your money. They all seem to list the services too, so that's interesting :)

I had a terrible experience with this company after I purchased the required amount of credits to send over a check that consumed maybe 3% of those credits. They clearly make money out of having you overpay. The check, ordered back in October 10, 2022, was never sent. I've been reaching out since the third week of October and they stopped responding after they said it may take up to two weeks for the check to be delivered. It's been two months and I missed a very important deadline with the Department of State because of them. Two tickets open, 8 support messages, and still no response whatsoever. There isn't even a refund avenue available. Bad service, poor customer service, and a total loss of more money than needed.

Online Check Writer's customer service is inflexible and arrogant. When the user interface displays one cost but I am being billed a separate fee and OCW won't acknowledge the inconsistent application of fees or provide a refund. This also applied when sending 400+ payees their check via email. Once printing the emailed check, the banks rejected the emailed check format saying it was "scam-like" and an improper format. This forced me to then re-print checks at my own cost for my payees after OCW refused to acknowledge the issue or refund me for the inconvenience and cost incurrec. OCW would NOT listen to my concerns and would not offer a reasonable solution, saying only that they present a respectable business with millions of happy customers and my situation is not representative of a larger problem. Perhaps it was only "old-fashioned" banks that have a problem with the Echeck.
