My apologies for the confusion; in OptinMonster a "pageview" is counted each time your campaign is viewed (aka "campaign impression"). We are not measuring direct page views on your site.

We understand your concern about the automatic upgrade. While we provide settings to control what happens when campaigns exceed the pageview limit, it seems your account was set to upgrade automatically. We regret any confusion this may have caused.

We do provide a 14-day money back guarantee, if you'll reach out to our support team they would be delighted to assist you!
