A pile of crap

A pile of crap! They couldn't help after waiting 30 minutes to get to a customer service representative.
Then they passed the phone from one to another with no resolution. Very unprofessional. Disappointed.

Do not buy from them! They will block your money and deliver nothing but lies!

Bought couple of items -online . Payment with Credit card (1200USD). Nothing happened couple of days and then, order was canceled - without any explanations.
I contact them asking if weight of the items was the reason for cancellation and if i can pay extra for shipping. They said yes and issued a proforma for one item, instead of extra for shipping.
After few e-mails they realizes the mistake and - finally cancelled that proforma. In the mean time they blocked my money. Asked them repeatedly to refund, they did it after several days and a dozen of e-mails exchanged with several persons which have the inability to understand simple things or read more than one sentence.

My legitimate question was: Do you have any items in stock, can you just ship it?
Answer from Katrin: "Dear Customer,
you can view the availability of all our products in the webshop - updated daily." What a LIE.
And she suggest to pay another invoice with PayPal (which i did) and items will be shipped immediately.
Then, NOTHING. They did not answer my e-mails anymore, they did not ship the items.
Money blocked.
Opened dispute at PayPal.
After 10 days Conrad finally contact me and asked to pay more, for shipping! 10 minutes later they issued a cancelled proforma with clear text "The following items can no longer be supplied"

So, instead of refunding, after 10 days -and PayPal involvement- they asked me to pay more for shipping, then -10 minutes later- canceled the order because there is no stock.

All in all, they blocked my money for ten days having nothing in stock but pretending -lying- the opposite.
PayPal stepped in and full refund.

Also, note that there is no phone number - at any level or language- for contact.
I heard - too late- many similar horror stories from other persons regarding their way to deceive customers with lowest prices and later roll money without selling anything.

Update: Several days after card transaction with Conrad, it was a fraudulent attempt of payment for a small amount (to test the card availability). The card was not used on Internet payment for last 2 years and suddenly this pop up few days after transaction with Conrad. My bank cancelled the transaction and issued new card.
If you want to pay something to them, use virtual cards or better PayPal!

Worst experience ever. They have stolen my money and they don't even bother to reply

I have been many years using internet commerce, as I work many hours and I am not generally available during normal store working hours. My experience with Conrad has been the worst experience I have had until this day. They charged me VAT for a purchase inside EU that can't have VAT (I pay it on my own country). They promise on their website that they would give me the money back once they checked my VAT-Number, but 3 months later they have not even replied one single of my emails. It is not a big amount of money, it is the way to proceed of this company that I hate, and I encourage anyone thinking on buying from them to go somewhere else. Should you have any problem, you are not going to have anything but disgrace from them

If I could put zero stars I would

If I could put zero stars I would. Placed an ordered then radio silenced. I asked why and received very blunt email saying we had underpaid. They asked for €45 extra. When I checked the invoice we’d paid the invoice amount. Then radio silence! I did say what company asks for more money without a new invoice. Out of nowhere received a refund for the €45. The main cost of €245 had been paid; I asked for an update… nothing. I requested a refund, nothing!! I raised a dispute with PayPal and have just received a refund in full… they said a decision would be made on the 16th December but they settled in my favour now! Thank you PayPal!! I would never ever purchase from this company again!!!!

One of the worse service ever

I am very disappointed in the terrible service of Conrad International. Previously I was living in The Netherlands and their branch there is good and efficient. I am now living in Spain and as Conrad hasn´t got a Spanish branch I have to deal directly with international. Service is one of the worse I have ever seen. They make a mess with orders, cancel orders without informing the customer, promise that items are in stock and will be shipped as soon as payment is made and it turns out not to be true, and as many people already said they don´t answer emails in a timely manner and there is no way to reach them by phone. It is the last time I order something with them and I will ensure I will warn everybody I know in my sector not to do business with them.

Conrad.com is a fraud

I ordered a product from them for which they charged me immediately, then I did not hear from them for several days. When I started to worry and contacted them, they said I did not pay enough and until I pay the amount they specify, they will not ship the product. It is crystal clear they are a fraud and I would discourage everyone to give them a try. The trick seems to be that they display competitive prices which may convince people to order from them, but then they never send any product.

Hochpreisig aber nicht gut

Conrad ist ein bekannter Lieferant für Elektronikwaren, die durchweg apothekenmäßig bepreist sind. Wer für den erhöhten Preis einen besseren Service als beim 0815-Laden erwartet, der hat allerdings ein Problem: Conrad sieht Service nicht als seine Aufgabe, weder für End- noch für Businesskunden. So endet man dann mit wertloser oder irreparabler Ware, bei der Conrad jede Rücknahme oder Reparatur verweigert. Auf Grund gemachter Erfahrungen würde ich von dieser Firma abraten.

Very slow service

As per the other reviews, extremely poor service. I placed an order for an item that was advertised as in stock and available for shipping. Over a week later the order had still not shipped so I opened a support ticket to check what the problem was and they responded after a further 4 days, after which the order was finally dispatched. This is not the level of service you expect from a large online retailer these days.

Premium products, fair prices, prompt delivery

Bought a desk lamp that just oozes quality, along with add-ons from their vast inventory, all at a far better price than similar products,
Service was swift and informative at every step.
Delivery was fast and hassel free, despit COVID, Brexit and VAT.
All good, highly recommended.

Be careful when ordering from Conrad.com

On 16.01.2021 I ordered a computer case that was in stock at the time of order and ready for delivery in 5-6 working days to the UK. It's been 3 weeks since I place the order and I still don't have the product. I contacted them by email and they said that when they have it in stock they will deliver to me. I check the website again and this product is ready for processing on 19.02-22.02.2021. I also tried to cancel the order from my account but without success. I do not recommend ordering from this company whether they have the product in stock or not. It takes an eternity to receive it, even if money is taken from your account.

They take my money and disappear !

After the payment( the order:1992180772) they disappear! No communication,no estimate time of delivery! You don't exist for them after you pay! This is the way they trait a client! I've paid DHL Express and I receive.............nothing after 1 week (EU space) ! Is not a problem about money lost ! Is a problem of honesty ! And "Conrad" missed this !!!

Terrible experience, Do not buy from them!!!

Terrible experience, order placed 27.3, money taked from my credit card!! and after 3 days they say that they are unavailable to sent package because out of stock. Next day i requested my money back, they said that item was booked and payment was not authorised, with is not true! they take my money and their support agents are so rude and unskilled.
I'm going to file a lawsuit against these incompetent people who cover things up. 17.4 still no refund

Bezahlte Ware wird von Conrad nicht geliefert

Bezahlte Ware wird von Conrad nicht geliefert, sondern einfach storniert ohne Grund. Das Bezahlte Geld der Ware wird von Conrad nicht zurück gezahlt. Kundenservice ist hier unfreundlich und gibt keine Infos über der Zurückzahlung. Kundenservice sagte das die Rückzahlung Ihr nicht Interessiert und nicht Ihr Problem ist.

Do not use this company!

Do not use this company!! Placed an order 2 weeks ago, money was instantly taken from my account, then revived an email 4 days later saying my item was out of stock, that was it no further correspondence or info as to what would happen next just an automated email to say it was unavailable.
Since then I have emailed them 4 times and messaged through Facebook and Instagram and not received a single response from any of it just further automated emails telling me they will get back to me.
Disgusting service and still no refund. I will be contacting trading standards and filing a claim through PayPal
