Ordered one of floor lamps. Took 9-10 weeks to arrive instead of 5 weeks. When we reached out at 6 weeks they said, dont worry you will get your package SOMEDAY and to trust them but wouldnt give us any ETA. The product after arriving had zero install instructions just had bunch of things in chinese which even ChatGPT couldnât figure out and literally require to join a bunch of wires which didnât make any sense. It gave you random nuts /bolts. We gave up after 3 hrs of trying. Horrible experience

We asked for a replacement and was told no because it was over 30 days old although it was in a box until our electricians could install it. I spent $600 on a lamp from Outlight and have had nothing but problems from the moment my order arrived. I strongly caution anyone from purchasing from this company.
First, my free gift with purchase was never delivered â lost somewhere in New York. When I reported it, I was told they could not send a replacement and was offered a $25 discount on a future purchase. That is not a resolution.
Then, after waiting five weeks, my lamp arrived without its lampshade. This is not a lamp that works without one. When I contacted customer service, they initially claimed it would arrive in a separate shipment â which was false. Their own records confirmed only one box was ever shipped. I was then instructed to submit a return request just to get the lampshade sent to me. That return was denied.
Since then, Outlight has largely stopped responding to my emails. Sebastian did reach out early on and offered a $50 goodwill refund, which I appreciate, but a $50 credit means nothing when I have an incomplete, $600 lamp sitting in my home that I cannot use. This is not a lampshade I can simply purchase elsewhere â it is specific to this lamp.
I am now trying to return the lamp entirely, but because of the prior return submission, I cannot process it through normal channels. I have had to request a prepaid return label just to send back a product that was never complete to begin with.
For a company charging this much for their products, the customer service is inexcusably poor. Missing items, misinformation, denied returns, and unanswered emails are not what you expect at this price point. I would not recommend Outlight to anyone.

The product I received did not look like the product quality on the website. I have tried to contact the company to discuss returning it and no one has responded. I have sent 4 emails to attempt contacting the company. I will now contact my credit card company to help resolve the issue. What is amazing is the Outlight website says â24/7 customer serviceâ, which is hilarious.

I ordered a floor lamp on Nov 17,2025 it was supposed to arrive mid Dec and after a couple of weeks delay only the lampshade arrived (no base). Despite multiple attempts to contact customer service after I got the lamp shade, I received no response. As a result, I had to dispute my credit card to get my money back.

Itâs ironic that the based just arrived today, January 17th, 2025. the customer service still hasnât responded. The quality of the lamp doesnât match the price but the design is unique.

I only received a metal disc that looks like the base. There is no light and I can not get any response from customer support. The shipment shows delivered but this is obviously not correct.
Incomplete delivery and zero customer service
I ordered lamps from outlight.us and had a really disappointing experience. Delivery took about a month and a half, and when the package finally arrived, I only received the lamp shadesâthe rest of the parts were missing, so I obviously I canât assemble or install them.
These lamps are expensive. I tried contacting them by email because thereâs no clear phone number, but I havenât received any response. On top of that, their website shows a âSupportâ option, but when you click it, it leads to a 404 Page Not Found.
I donât recommend buying from this site due to the long delay, expensive price, lack of customer support and most important: âincomplete orderâ.

The product I received did not match the description: the base was wood instead of metal, the lamp was shorter than advertised (43" instead of 50"), and it included a top bracket that is visually unappealing, poorly designed, and was not shown in the photos or described in the specifications.
I contacted the company immediately, provided photographic evidence, and submitted my return request twice. The first request was rejected with the claim that video documentation was required, which the customer service representative later confirmed was not necessary. The second request was rejected with the claim that the correct product was sent, even though the representative had admitted the product was incorrect and provided clear instructions for resubmitting the claim, which I followed exactly.
Additionally, my partner wrote a review of this purchase on the companyâs Facebook page, which disappeared soon after and was presumably deleted by the company. I have read multiple reports from other customers of similar experiences, including removal of reviews and comments, as well as issues with receiving incorrect products and difficulty obtaining refunds.
Given the product discrepancies, rejected returns, and similar complaints from other customers, I would advise potential buyers to be cautious.
Missing parts, long shipping
No updates on shipping. When I click the link to track it, it doesnât track anything. Itâs so frustrating.
2 months after placing the order, the package finally arrived. 2 of the floor lights have NO PLUGS!! I had to double check, and sure enough, the website says they have plugs-they arenât hardwired. They are also missing bases! So now I have 2 floor lamps that canât stand up or be plugged in. One of them might also be the wrong color temperature, but I canât plug it in to find out. The 3rd floor lamp keeps shorting the bulbs, so I canât use that light either!
I have messaged the company twice so far, and no response. Insanity.
