We are a holistic medical clinic focusing on informed choice regarding all aspects of perimenopause and menopause care; from lifestyle advice, over the counter supplements, to Body Identical Hormone replacement therapy (HRT) , always based upon BMS and NICE guidelines. We believe passionately about improving the lives of women. Being in the midst of our own individual perimenopausal journeys, it has become apparent that there is a significant lack of accessible information and widely available treatments for the problems associated with this important transitional stage of life. We are based in Oxford and offer face to face clinic appointments but also virtual appointments via zoom or telephone. We also offer blood tests in the clinic.

My experience at the Oxford Hormone…
My experience at the Oxford Hormone Clinic was better than expected. Dr Hacking was really empathic and immediately put me at ease. I felt like I was listened to and the appropriate solution was offered. I am very happy with my decision to have booked an appointment there and hopeful that the solution will impact positively on my life.

Very caring and thoughtful approach
Having been on HRT through my GP, I was looking for a more thorough approach to my treatment. All the symptoms I experienced were explained to me. The specialist took time to listen to my concerns, symptoms. I did not feel rushed at all. I am entirely very satisfied with the level of care provided. Most importantly, I feel that I can have someone to talk to should I wish to.

I had been struggling for a couple of…
I had been struggling for a couple of years and post-menopausal, but life, raising children, looking after a sick mother had distracted me. I realised that I was not coping as well as I should have, moody, weight-gain, despite exercise and eating well, and hot flushes. Because of lock-down I had also not been able to go to a GP. I had a phone consultation with Dr. Susanne Hooper who was so astute and knowledgeable, caring and responsive to all the questions and concerns I raised. She is also very accessible on and responsive on-line. I have been using HRT now for a couple of weeks, early days, but I already feel better.

I would highly recommend going to the Oxford Hormone Clinic. I was given a very clear explanation on menopause and the benefits of HRT. I feel confident with advice and feel better on the recommended treatment.

Excellent Clinic! Specialized doctors. Very good explanation about the effect of homone changes during menopause. Don’t underestimate the symptoms. This clinic can help you. I recommand it wholeheartedly.
