Customer services at Oyster properties is very good for Landlords and also they are very efficient in dealing with any issues at the property with both the tenant and landlord . The staff are polite and also helpful

Oyster Properties is the best agency that I have experienced.
For anything they will help you like they did to me. I could ask them to repair any issues and they would do that for me. They also do inspections to see how the house is every six months. They also check up on everything that there is. And they see if gas and electricity is safe.
The staff works very quick and they do everything possible to help the customers.

I called to ask about a room to let and was told that the property is available to females only and they dont accept men.

Do to the Equaloty Act 2010 this is illegal, regardless of their reasoning.

I am great full from the professionalism of Oyster staff and management. They handled my property worked for me.

Oyster Properties will not address your issues for months and will demand rent increases. Their internal communication is the worst I have ever experienced. You always have to call them with an update regarding your query and they will tell you that someone will call with an update and NO ONE ever updates you. You will have more than 3 different people calling you over the same thing despite addressing it with the first person. Their rent increases are unethical, they don't even base it on your tenancy agreement. They will increase it by a stupid amounts between 10-30%. I would NEVER recommend anyone to use this company! They have built such a bad reputation with everyone in my building and there are 48 flats here! So many tenants have had a horrific issues with these people. Serious issues which are life threatening to humans are not being address immediately.

We are current tenants and they show a total lack of care about the recurring pest issue we have. There are simple solutions they refuse to take to cut costs and totally ignore their responsibilities to tenants. This is making part of the property we rent entirely unusable and inaccessible, but they don't care. If we had the option to move right now, we would. When we will move, I work from home, so I will be around to let any potential new tenant know how the issues. Do yourself a favour and steer clear of Oyster Properties.

Oyster Properties are only interested in its own profits. They do not look after their tenants. They are a very greedy organization fulfilling their self-interest. Customer service is very poor. Do not use them.

Highly unprofessional, un ethical & nuisance.
They sent me email & confirmed my viewing & they called me the same day as well to check I had to schedule my day for the same as no other days were available stating landlord will not be available & then just 1 hour prior to viewing they called & informed the property is gone. They are highly unprofessional. NNot at all recommended.

A cheap and nasty Estate Agency service run out of the Philippines, don't go anywhere near them

I had a positive renting experience through Oyster properties. In my dealings with Gemma, I found that she was very professional and pleasant and prompt in responding. The landlord tried to increase the rent after we had verbally agreed a rate but she intervened.
The property was in good condition and the landlord was otherwise reasonable. Deposit was returned with no issues, though I did have the place properly cleaned before leaving. I did not have issues with maintenance so I did not have to deal with maintenance staff, which seems to be one of the areas that other reviewers were concerned about.

Worst tenant service. Do not rent property from them. They are worst. Try to avoid them if you can.

I was surprised about how quick they tried to rezolve my problems, in short time as I let them know. Every time when I was need them to fix something they that ....amazing team !

I called for a schedule for viewing a home for rent. I made the appointment online and by phone and she told me that the earliest was somewhere on Monday, about 5 days after I called. It seemed a bit strange, normally, it doesn't take that long but probably the house was somehow discussed .On the day of the appointment, I was called and told that the house had already been rented.
I believe that when you discuss something serious with a person, the word must be the same, so you do not present any guarantee to customers.
So, I classify it as frivolity, lack of respect for a possible client and lack of interest

Worst service .am a new tenant i got a property without proper cleaning like main door latches were broken (anytime anyone can enter ),balcony is not cleaned its stinking,kitchen cupboard are broken ,matress is the worst ever its brown in color and first time am seeing ultra curve bed which cannot be find in any shops such a bed in very good quality.
kumar is the person who handovered the key he has zero knowledge about this and he is not ready to help .overall worst service i dont know how long my house will be without proper door .my humble request is dont go with this agency .

Lived with an exposed sewage pipe in my room for over 12 months until the problem was identified. Was only given £200 off my rent as a result. For that period of time, I was unable to comfortably have friends or family over without fear of embarrassment due to the pungent smell that permeated the room.

In addition, when being sold to by the letting agent, I was promised features of the house that were later not included. For example, I was promised that there would be a guest bathroom in the living room. They later locked the door of the bathroom and said that this was not to be used, AFTER I had signed the contract.

Oyster properties also take on HMO properties that have been built very cheaply, so there are ALWAYS breakages and are reluctant to offer compensation.

The staff are dishonest, rude and dismissive of any issues you have. Would definitely NOT recommend!
