Moved the shipping date from 1-2 weeks to 6+ months after charging me $5,288.99

Placed $5,000+ order and they moved the shipping date from 1-2 weeks to 6+ months after charging my card.

Order was placed and payment was taken on June 4th, 2026 with the the confirmation directly and clearly stating all items to ship within 1-2 weeks.

Order status page is now showing the estimated date to ship items of December 7th, 2026 - over six months from order date.

We called them on June 7th and they informed us they will cancel all items and issue a refund to the original payment method.

We called them again on June 9th and June 10th to confirm they are issuing us a refund and they have transferred us, hung up or given us indefinite answers.

At this point I believe the merchant is operating fraudulently and with such a large purchase to drag along without fulfilling their obligations is questionable at best.

Before they reply some nonsense about not finding our order:

On June 4, 2026, you placed an order for two Ratana Mission Hill Wicker Cushion Lounge Chairs and one Ratana Mission Hill Wicker Cushion Sofa in Pewter. As noted in our terms and conditions, Shipping Policy | PatioLiving Estimated Shipping Times
At the time the order is placed, an email with order confirmation is sent, which includes the approximate lead time for the order. Please be aware, shipping times are only estimated and can change based on product availability. Once the order is accepted by the manufacturer, we will send you an updated approximated ship date if it’s different from the original estimate that was communicated during order confirmation.
When the manufacturer confirmed your order on June 7, 2026, they advised that the sofa was unfortunately out of stock and not expected to be available until December. We understand this was not the news you were hoping to receive, and we sincerely apologize for the disappointment.
After speaking with our team on June 8, 2026, you requested that the order be canceled. We immediately submitted that request to the manufacturer, and they have since confirmed that the cancellation has been completed.
Please keep an eye on your email, as you will receive a confirmation showing the refund and cancellation details. We are grateful for your patience and understanding while we worked through this with the manufacturer.

16 days later still hasnt shipped

Ordered outdoor furniture on 5/25. It’s now 6/10 and it still hasnt shipped despite being listed as In Stock and Shipping in 1-3 days. I’ve spoken to customer service a handful of times and each time they blame the manufacturer for different reasons. They’ve also quoted shipping days each time that have come and past. I would certainly buy elsewhere if at all possible.

Excellent chat support

Excellent chat support. I made a large order but made a mistake in listing the delivery telephone number. It was easily fixed here.

I had two earlier chat support sessions with different people about buying the same set of furniture that I ultimately did buy today--both reps were also excellent and first tracked down the discrepancy between the picture shown and the text displayed and then found me the correct table even though it was not listed in the catalog. I find the chat support at PatioLiving to be outstanding with 3 out of 3 contact sessions.

A good argument against AI is sharp, well trained sales service. Here is why

QUITE THE OPPOSITE this time. Excellent product knowledge, Listened closely to the requirements, understood them clearly. Frank about the pros and cons of fabrics, and balanced that against delivery constraints. There is little for a merchant to gain by having a very broad array of choices unless the staff is high enough to navigate.
Otherwise,the internet trade default to amazon or COSTCO. (Which would have been a couple of hundred cheaper fit not as well .
