I have had an ongoing dispute with PayPal regarding a non delivery of garden furniture
Informed by paypal there is a tracking delivery number, then they closed the case
Tracking delivery number pertains to a 5cm x 9cm envelope posted through my letter box...i would like to witness a delivery man trying to post a 3 seater sofa and 2 club chairs through my letter box.
What a con paypal are in advertising your online purchases are safe with us

disgusting service, returned card reader, no credit back, they are a rip off 😡😡DONT USE THEM!!

they put limitations on my account because of suspicious activity try getting them removed its a complete joke joke they ask for documentation which i uploaded now they want it again and send you to a page which doesnt exist closing the account and good riddance to them

Rubbish, Rubbish, Rubbish

Supposed to be a 'SECURE' method of payment.
PayPal provided my private bank account details to a third party.
The 'customer service' Dept are disrespectful and dismissive.

PayPal here is not A reliable way of receiving money by card from customers it’s because whenever they want they will stop you taking payments even middle of a transection without acknowledging you. Then they will ask you the transection details such as What was sold, How was sold and and shipping information! Taking card payments via pin or contactless authorisation still you need to provide these details for random transection. Once you provide these details than it will take at least 24 hours to reactivate your account as per their policy. Which caused serious damage to my bussines even they behaving in this COVID 19 pandemic hard time when everyone prefers to take payment by card. My account was activated In 2 days time which is quite longer than expected it caused me lose money and customers and many customers do not return because they are not sure my card Matchine working or not! I have applied for other card processing terminal from different service provider. Hopefully I’ll receive it soon and will get rid of PayPal here. I have read all the reviews here before writing my they are truly said. I recommend please get rid of PayPal here soon as you can because it is expensive and not reliable and their card reader are very fragile but yes it is only good when you are making an online payment. I hope my review will be useful for PayPal here to learn some Business manors and improve their service.

Bought the card reader and got the PayPal here app....never got any further as paypal here never authorised the account. No customer service and when I asked was told that there wasn't any staff to sort it out. Complete waist of money and time.

I'm a cab driver and used PayPal here for a couple of years.
Never again. They charged me 6%- 8% for taking payments from my customers.
Then they hold my money for nearly a month. Card reader very unreliable. Purchased 2 within 2 years.
Started on Sumup. Flat 1.69% for every transaction.

Did you know that even the entire paypal system is automated regarding transaction fees TAKEN automatically from each card payment but the fees are not changing (lowering) based on monthly sales total?
YOU NEED TO APPLY MANUALLY FOR LOWER FEES!
They advertise that the fees for sales over £1500 per month change from 2.75% to 1.75%.
NOOO, you need to ask them to do so! But only from the website!

Useless customer support not answering the phones, I can’t transfer or use any of my money

I've been using PayPal for many many years and I have so much faith in them that if I go to order anything online and they don't accept PayPal as payment I don't order from them. I'm shocked to find out they have such a low score here on trustpilot but I suppose no one praises them for the good, only people wanting to vent their anger and frustration which is totally understandable if that has been their experience. I'm just writing my review as for years now my experience with them has always been 100% positive and so I felt the need to write a review to say so.

Paypal here works intermittently.
Its actually embarrassing when it doesn't and i have to give customers goods for free in the hope they come back and pay another time. (Usually they do some don't).
It seems to stop working late at night. I have upgraded the tablet but it still does the same.

Buyer protection really helpful when you purchase from abroad. Thank you

The costumer services is rubbish , I'm trying to sort a case more than few months but they are very unprofessional and looks like they don't have knowledge or they try to do so just because they want to keep the money i can't withdraw .
I wouldn't recommend to anyone at all

Truly disgraceful THIEVING company. Got my payment frozen for over 2 week snow. Every Time they say 'wait 72 hours' - you do and still CANNOT access funds. LIES. LIES LIES. You comply with their ID request STILL they lie and do not give you your money. I WILL HAVE TO REPORT TO THE CITY OF LONDON POLICE SOON. ** AVOID LIKE CORONA **

I received an item not as described for £300! The site said they were based in Seattle America when in fact they are in CHINA! I opened a dispute but the seller wanted more money for another item and for me to return to an address not registered with PayPal or company. PayPal sided with the seller! After calling Paypal they said that was wrong, to leave it with them. Said i was due a FULL refund...3days later...CLAIM DENIED as i had altered the item. LIARS!!!

PayPal new policy, if you refund a buyer, PayPal no longer covers the fees that it originally charges you.
eg. You sell something for £900, PayPal gives you £873.60 (£26.40 fees), the buyer then cancels 10 minutes later, you refund them, PayPal takes £900 from your account leaving the seller to foot the £26.40 bill.
Apparently its within their new terms since its split with eBay.

Please please please do not use this company they put your payment's on hold for no reason and it can take up to a month to get your money so if you sell on ebay you have to use money out your own pocket to pay postage.you would think they would at least release your postage funds but no and there call center is the biggest wast of time they can speak English very well and have no idea what you are taking about. I am so sick of them holding every payment that once I have finally received my money I will cancel the account and never use them again a don't care if this meens I can't use ebay I just can't deal with this joke of a company any more it really is not worth the hassle
