Decided to use PSDA after my previous dog became ill and had to be put to sleep and I couldn't afford it at the time, being self employed in the pandemic. They were just wonderful.
Got our new family member and needed pet insurance it was a no brainer for us.
Also for the level of cover and no 20% of the rest of the claim which a lot of other insurance companies wanted at the time, Worked out really competativly

My dog was really poorly and needed treatment , I paid the vet myself and my vet advised me that my insurance would probably help with the cost , I have never used an insurance claim before , I usually pay the bill myself . The insurance company were great and paid me direct .

My cat recently required an urgent operation and when I contacted customer services, the representative I spoke to dealt with my enquiry sympathetically and professionally. PDSA took a long time processing my claim. Our cat is a rescue & we didn't have any medical history so they had to contact the rescue centre to check her previous history. I had to chase them in the end but they paid in full minus the excess so I'm happy.
