I am very pleased with the service from Pense, which exceeded my expectations at every stage.
Kirk Yeomann was extremely diligent in understanding my requirements, offering a range of relevant options, providing clear advice, and outlining the full process for transferring my pension and arranging the annuity.

Lauren Burfield and Liv Carey were equally impressive — reliable, proactive, and consistently keeping me updated on the progress of my application and obtaining compensation for delays in processing the application from the annuity provider. Their communication made the entire experience smooth and stress‑free.

Very helpful

I was assisting my brother in getting an annuity sorted, with his retirement approaching. I contacted a number of annuity brokers, but opted for Pense following my correspondence by email and phone with Kirk. He was excellent and reassuring, made the process as simple as possible, where others were putting obstacles in our way (as I was doing most of the 'talking' etc on my brother's behalf, it could have been complicated). Once we agreed on a provider, based on best annuity rate, Kirk passed me on to Liv, who metaphorically held our hands from that point on until the annuity funds arrived in my brother's account. Regular email contact (at least weekly), plus prompt responses to our queries, kept us reassured at all times. Nothing seemed too much trouble for Liv or Kirk. The whole process from accepting the quote to receiving the funds took around 7 weeks, well within expected timescales given. I wouldn't hesitate to use them again and recommend them to anyone in need of such services.

Had always been a bit sceptical about financial advisors, but I had to use one to set up a annuity policy. Kirk Yeomans from Pence arranged a phone consultation and I will be forever grateful. He talked me through all my options, advised me on my tax implications which helped me make an informed decision, he kept me informed about the different providers and dealt with the transfer of my pension pot getting me exactly what I needed.

I’ve been very impressed with Pense from my initial contact and subsequent interactions. The staff have been wonderful, pleasant supportive and professional. Any questions or information requests were dealt with promptly and efficiently.

Friendly knowledgeable team that offer a professional service. Initial consultation was friendly and helpful, reviewing my options and agreeing the way forward. They were then able to secure an annuity quote above my expectations and then followed through getting the policy in place and the funds transfer in in a very professional and timely manner. Regular updates on progress all the way through and very happy with the end result.

Since I started dealing with Pense arranging my Annuity policy, I have found the team very capable and fairly quick at dealing with any issues that arose. Pense was recommended to me and I'm so glad they were, Ross talked me through the whole process in detail and made sure i understood everything. His telephone manner is excellent and made me feel relaxed and confident that i was doing the right thing. Moving my life savings was a huge thing for me but Ross made it easy and worry free. It's also good to know that he is there at the end of the phone if i need him.
I would also like to thank Lauren too for confirming that everything is in order and ensuring that i am happy with the service they have provided. I highly recommend, they are a great team.

As someone very new to pensions and completely bamboozled by what was available, the guidance, knowledge and support from both financial advisors Ross and Kirk, and great follow up and attention from Amber and Lauren was exemplary. The detailed choices were carefully explained (and more than once!) I did not feel rushed and I was not pushed into anything I did not understand. Pense certainly made something that I was dreading starting much smoother than I imagined, and I would highly recommend (in fact I already have!)
