I was very wary about contacting pension advisors as I was badly advised last time I converted a small pension into an annuity over 10 years ago. However contacting Pense was a much more fruitful experience. Pleasant and easy people to talk to, giving several options and at no time were they trying to persuade one option or another and gave me time to think it over. In all I was glad I chose Pense and a much better outcome than I had hoped for.

The team at Pense gave a first class service from the initial conversation to concluding the work. I cannot recommend them highly enough!

I was introduced to Pense through Advise Me. I am very glad I did, the staff at Pense were very friendly and did everything, taking all the worry out of arranging my Pension payment for me. Dealing with my original Pension provider and transferring my pot to another company on my behalf. Their advice was very good and looked after me very well.

There was problems in accessing funds from my two pension pots, Lauren kept hounding these companies until they released the funds, see set up complaint procedures with both and managed to get compensation.

And advised what was best option to meet my requirements
They kept me informed at all the stages of applying for my pension
At the start I must mention Ross Taylor he was very knowledgeable and put me at ease when I spoke with him and also Liv Carey who kept me informed all the way through until completion
I cannot fault any stage and would highly recommend them

I had spoken with financial advisers before but never moved forward due to high costs, limited market coverage (for example, advisers who worked with only one provider), or products that did not meet my needs.

When I read about Pense, their commitment to providing "fair financial advice for everyone" really resonated with me. It felt like exactly what I had been looking for.

I was not disappointed. Pense provided an excellent analysis of my options, which was every bit as good as, and in some cases better than, the advice I had received from previous advisers.

From my initial contact with Pense the support was excellent. There is no pushy selling techniques, simply supportive listening and recommendations. The follow up service once decisions are made, continue to be excellent with weekly updates on progress throughout from the same client contact. Once the pension is set up the client support continues to be available for any questions and in my case Lauren was superb at following through on every detail. Kirk and Lauren were great.

I initially contacted Pense, after reading their reviews, to ask for advice whether to go for a drawdown pension or an annuity and I am so pleased I did!! After reviewing my pensions, Kirk advised that an annuity would be my best option and after discussing why he had come to that conclusion, I agreed. Service very prompt response from all the staff and help through any concerns of the changeover liaising with Aviva who at times were not so customer facing but pense we're excellent. Just waiting to here from my financial advisor James now everything is in place, who I'm sure will be in touch soon.
