I contacted Pensionworks via a recommendation from my financial advisor and can honestly say that right from the start the team were professional and were always in touch with updates (even when there was no actual update at that time). Andrew dealt with my case and was always willing to listen to my reasoning whilst providing solid advice throughout. It was a pleasure to deal with the company and would not hesitate to recommend them to anyone looking at options around transferring their pension.

I was recommended Pension Works by another firm of Financial Advisors as they do not deal with moving final salary pensions over to a Personal pension.

I have just received an email from Pension Works confirming that my DB has now been officially received by my personal pension provider.

My Financial advisor was Derek Winsland who was excellent from start to finish and after a one hour initial meeting provided a draft report that encapsulated everything we had discussed, nothing was missing and all the numbers were correct.

A second more detailed report was then generated which showed detailed cash flows, my reasoning for wanting to move away from a final salary pension scheme and their final advice.

The process took about three months from initial contact to actually have Capita transfer the funds and all charges were fully explained at the very beginning.

Pension Works chased Capita and kept me fully informed of the current status and for this I would also like to thank Amy Barnett who did a great job.

In summary, I would have no hesitation in recommending these guys.

From the very outset Stephen Perkins and Team have been a real pleasure to deal with . The initial consultaton was particularly thorough and i really did feel that i was being listened to and understood in an era when so many companies and individuals categuirise one in to boxes . Service received from Pension Works generally and my advisor Mark Citrone in particular was extremely professional and thorough. We were working to some tight timescales but the team did everything they could to ensure the work was completed in time and I am extremely grateful for all their hard work.

The advice, guidance and questioning from my advisor, Derek Winsland, was thorough professional and helpful throughout. Just one suggestion for improvement - I did find it a bit strange that all discussion were over the phone rather than via zoom/teams. Would be nice to put a face to the person you are talking to and would help the conversation flow.

I have been very impressed with the quality of service in my recent engagement with Pension Works, in particular the service from my adviser Derek Winsland was first class. Owing to issues with a third party we ended up with tight timelines to meet my objectives however the focus and clarity demonstrated around executing the process was exemplary. Staff were prepared to go the extra step to ensure the best outcome for me.

Communication from my advisor Dylan was excellent and his colleagues who set the appointments up. Dylan took time to explain all the reports and answer any questions I might have. I would highly recommend Pension works from my own experience with them.

At f first I was a bit disappointed in the initial call and felt the advisor was a bit abrupt and clinical. Eventually I realised that was just him doing his job, as all other discussions with him have been really friendly and very professional. They had a very tight deadline to stick to and I am extremely impressed with how they dealt with everything and would recommend them
