Great service from Robert! I love Perkbox anyway as use it all the time to save on my supermarket shops - but I had an issue with one of my gift cards and Robert was great, he got it sorted and a refund to me really quickly. Superstar service!

Worst experience ever!
I purchased a Gift Card from them to use on a shop, to realise after that unfortunately it won't work with this shop. I have requested the cancellation/refund minutes after paying just to be told that by clicking "Pay" I accepted the terms that they will not do any refunds.
UK laws protect customers from this kind of bullying from companies, because the rights would not be equal.
After escalating this for over 1 month, I finally got the refund approved, once I said I will take this to court.
The worst customer experience ever, they do not have any email/phone available for complains or escalation. Everything goes on a stupid chat where they only answer when they want.
In the UK, online gift card laws state that customers have a 14-day cooling-off period to cancel their purchase if the card has not been used. Sales of this kind are known as ‘distance selling’. No platform should impose a non-refundable term.

Extremely Disappointing Experience & No Way to Contact Anyone
I purchased a £25 JD Sports gift card through Perkbox on 23/12/2025 as a Christmas present. When the recipient tried to use it, the voucher showed as expired with no balance, despite never being used.
I contacted Perkbox on 9th March, and an agent (Sophie) advised that a replacement voucher would be issued. Since then, I’ve had no response. I have followed up twice – on 17th March and 20th March – and still nothing.
What makes this even more frustrating is that there is no contact number anywhere, meaning I cannot speak to an actual person to resolve what should be a very simple issue. I’ve had to rely solely on messages that aren’t being replied to.
This situation has become genuinely embarrassing, as the voucher was a Christmas present and months later it still cannot be used due to an error on Perkbox’s side. The lack of communication, the lack of customer support options, and the failure to resolve the issue are extremely disappointing.
Still waiting for a replacement voucher or even an update.

This is an absolutely awful company to deal with, they fail to respond to your query, they don't have a telephone number, their management is poorly organised and dysfunctional.
In all of my communications it either comes down to I am the problem or you are either ignored or they fail to respond at all. We have just had our renewal through! We won't be coming back. Lets wait for them to see this and actually respond - Cowboys!
*Update* - They clearly do not like bad reviews and have flagged this as needing more information as they suspect it is non genuine! Let’s see if they actually respond and want to deal with the issues rather than pass blame and ignore clear breaches of their own policies!

Problems with Google Authenticator
I was having issues with logging in with the Google Authenticator. I used the chatbot int the app on my phone - I immediately received an e-mail from Helena who reset my log in and consequently I can now login using a code sent by SMS. Excellent service.

Avoid. The system is extremely glitchy and frequently shuts down. You might attempt to purchase several vouchers, only for a system error to appear and lock you out for days. During the Christmas period — the busiest time of the year for our team when staff are purchasing vouchers — the system shut down completely for several days. All we received was a brief apology, yet we were still charged the full price.
There is also a very questionable tactic built into their terms: an extremely restrictive 90-day sign-out rule. If you miss that window, you are automatically locked in for another year, regardless of how disappointed you are with the system. Even the fact that a major GDPR breach happened inside of that 90-days did not mitigate the rule. They are happy to force an unhappy client to stay with them despite them being completely disappointed. Anything for the money I guess...
And what about the recent GDPR issue? We received a vague email stating that an incident had occurred, but there was no clear explanation of what actually happened with our data.
Seriously, if you are considering it, I strongly suggest staying away. In my experience, it will only create additional stress and add unnecessary workload.

I tried to set up a log in
I tried to set up a log in, it seemed to fail, I eventually got in using my phone. Not 100% sure though, then just tried again on the PC, it accepts my email address and tells me it will send me a 6 digit code within a minute and it is valid for 10 minutes. But, it never comes through.
I gave it 1 star because I had to, but in reality I would have given it zero. It's got to be the worst app I've used, certainly for logging in, plus the one time I got in using my phone it didn't look the best set up. I think people are brain washed into thinking it's a good set up, but if they've used other apps like this they would realise it's not good at all, and certainly the logging on part.
It has recently been given to our employees on our site and there's not many using it because it's so difficult to use and log in the company are now emailing instructions on how to use the app and how to log in etc. It causes that much hassle I think a lot of people are just accepting to pay full price for anything they buy or use.
What a waste of time and money for the company.

BEWARE! Perkbox offer scam deals
I just wanted to add an update. 27/2/26 My wife wanted to hire a car in Jersey. She checked that Hertz and several other companies had availability then purchased a Rentacar gift card. Then when she tried to book they don't have any available because they don't deal with actual hire companies. My wife asked Perkbox, who advertised and supplied the gift card, for a refund and they have refused and this seems like they are advertising products that they don't have to offer which is a scam.
Also Perkbox website 2026 advertises a Trustpilot rating of 4.8 when it is actually 4.
My wife has perkbox through work. She wanted to hire a car so used one of the companies listed on their website. Rentacargift (do not use) She was unable to book a hire car in the location - Jersey Channel Islands despite the website saying 500 hire companies in 30000 locations! After contacting the hire company they operate through a third part and it seems they only have a few cars somewhere possible Nigeria. She then contacted Perkbox who will not respond. Really poor customer service and some companies they offer deals with are scams. BEWARE!

Very impressed. I had issues with a balance that vanished from my gift card. After a month of phone calls and visits to the merchants store, the Perkbox team were able to look into it and sorted a refund within an hour! Thank you SO much! One happy customer.

Don't use their site for cashback. It never tracks. And they won't do manual cashback even if there is plenty of evidence.
I am only giving them 2 stars because they did help with my gift card issue. Their gift cards are good.
