Poor customer service
I purchased an air purifier, absolutely no help from technical support, I was told Iâd be receiving a 15% discount code which I received but it didnât register so I paid the full price, contacted customer support to tell them the issue and for them to amend the payment, they refused, I will not be ordering from Phillips again, very poor customer service!

They state they have escalated it to managers. They havenât. When you ask to speak to a supervisor or manager they state itâs policy that they are not allowed to talk to customers!!!

Terrible service. My order is stuck in âwaiting for courier to collectâ for a week. Phillips refuse to acknowledge this, theyâre adamant that the order has been dispatched. But the tracking details prove itâs never been received by the courier. I just want someone with some common sense to see that they havenât dispatched the goods and see me my order.

I bought Phillips Hue lights from their web site for over £300. The company outsourced the delivery to UPS who never delivered to my address. The tracker said that the goods were delivered to an alternative address but I never agreed this other address with them. I tried to contact UPS and they said that I had to contact Phillips-Hue to get the details of the alternative address they delivered the goods to. I tried to do that but their web site only gave me an option to contact them to return the goods, but because I had never received the lights, I could not do that. I tried to search for ways of contacting them on the internet, but the phone number provided does not work. I completed their contact form but never got an answer. I sent them a message via whatsapp and got no reply there either. So I raised a claim for a charge-back with my credit card company. Then someone from Phillips Hue finally got in touch with me. I explained the situation and they told me that they would cancel the order and I thought that meant they had agreed to the charge back. But then my bank informed me that they disputed the charge back and I got charged for goods that I have not received nor given the means to obtain the goods or request a refund.

Further to the problems with the TvâŠ
Further to the problems with the Tv I've tried to get in touch with Phillips to get some help and all I've got is there is a technical issue so cannot answer my calls. I've tried different numbers but cannot get through to them. This company needs to take a serious look at it's self and help. I can't be the only one who has this problem of getting to talk to a person. My Tv still doesn't work and the guarantee is due to run out in a couple months time, that's probably what they are waiting for then they can charge me a fortune to fix it

I brought a Phillips Sonicare electric toothbrush very expensive but the original one after about 20 months lost its charge so Phillips changed it so because I was unaware of company policy the replacement after about the same time approximately a little over 20 months again stopped holding the charge. This I now understand they did not extend the warranty on the replacement . I went on line and field out question air which they replied with a free Royal Mail pre paid postage. Saying to send the old one back and once they received it they would send a replacement Handel . I then phoned Phillips the next morning very early before they had received the old one and was told it was out of warranty so I asked them to send it back this is before they had received it or even touched it , but no itâs company policy to dispose of old handles I reminded them itâs my property and I wanted it back and if I was a wear of there policy and it was not still under warranty I would not have sent it .
But when trying to deal with the advisor I felt the gentleman was not very helpful and borderline being very rude . I phone later and again I was told by a lady they have received my request and my Handel would be sent back . After waiting a couple of days I had not heard from Phillips so I phone again and again got another gentleman I thought again was rude and unprofessional who told me he would get customer complaints to contact me . Again very unhelpful and very disrespectful and offered me a 30% discount voucher.
I explain as I have had 3 previous Sonicare toothbrushes and they had all had the same fault it would be very unlikely I would buy from them again and also if I was to but it would not be directly with them with the 30% discount because I could still buy a lot cheaper from boots .
So bottom line is that Sonicare obviously have a design fault that keeps repeating itself so very unfeasible to buy another especially with a very bad after sales experience
Awful app
Philips air 2 in 1. The app is diabolical. Not simple to use at all and when going through customer services you end up going round in circles. Save up and spare your sanity by getting a different brand. Also clean it and it still says it needs cleaning.

I can't even think where to begin to tell you how atrocious this company is. Not just of their shoddy electronics, but there couldn't care less customer services agents.
We purchased a Philips TV back in August, by September it was already exhibiting a fault, they sent an engineer to come and fix, but even he didn't think it would work. He was correct it didn't and they took the TV away for the best part of a month. Again no joy on the return and even more faults this time. All the while dealing with customer service agents that didn't know what the faults were or indeed what was being fixed or how long it would take, at one point I knew more than her, as she didn't even know they had our TV.
We then had to send away again at the end of march and didn't receive it back until the beginning of May, was still faulty.
At this point we inacted our rights to a full refund , que disaster at trying to get anyone coherent. First they agreed that they'd have to issue a credit note, this would take around 5 days, then they had to get someone else to agree and signed off. Then we called after 5 days and this person was on holiday but they'd agreed note. Even sending an email agreeing we'd have it by the end of the week.Then no note, and denying they'd even sent the email. So we call again and we're told the person is off who has to agree it??? But they said this was done. A very long story short and 15 calls later.
And this is the "funny part" after around 4 weeks of waiting my partner tried again to speak to them, no joy!!!
But then..... Customer service agent Natasha called my partner (probably by accident) to complain about my partner and how there was nothing more they could do??? (At this point they'd done nothing) One can only assume they thought they'd called Richer Sounds (who were amazing and actually got this mess sorted)
In short unless you wish to throw your money away on a product that will never work, to have to deal with people who don't know what they're doing and quite simply don't care, or wish to be called at home and verbally abused, please don't buy from them. You'd be better off investing in a shadow box, match and a candle, at least it will work. Literally anything or anywhere else but here!!!! And if you do make sure it's through Richer Sounds, or your screwed.

Donât waste your money on their Sonicare toothbrushes. Every one I have bought or even had replaced by them under warranty has simply stopped working. Now they are refusing to provide a replacement to a replacement that only lasted a year. For the cost there are much better and more reliable brands out their.
Ambilight TV
I had issues with my ambilight TV, I asked for help at the end of April and tried all the actions Phillips advised. These did not work and after alot of back and forth an engineer took the TV away on 3/6/25. It is now 23/6/25 and I have had to chase up repeatedly to find out what is going on. As of yet I still have no confirmation when my TV will be returned. It feels like theft. Do not buy from Phillips!

My wife was thoughtful and tried to surprise me for my bday. Bless her. Little did she know PHILLIPS WEBSITE wonât send anything nor they do refunds either after taking money! Order placed on the 8th of April. Product shipped and then returned? the next day! They were claiming duty issues! Requested refund for over a month! Nothing - no money, no product so far. Bought a Hue sync box through Amazon toâŠ
Bought a Hue sync box through Amazon to connect the sync lights I had purchased earlier, not the cheapest of purchases anyways it arrived today so keen to get it installed.
Supplied instructions were as much use as a chocolate fire guard, unit would not connect to the bridge due to the fact it only works on 2.4 GHz WiFi my router is set to 5 GHz.
So B4 I can proceed any further I had to find away of getting into the backrooms of my router and reconfigure the settings, after much trial and error I finally succeeded.
Why a company like Phillips cannot get out of the dark ages and get up to date with 5 GHz is beyond me.
So we now have everything connected except I have no audio, turns out the hdmi cable provided with the unit was faulty fortunately I have some spare cables, having swapped the cable over I finally got audio.
I have bought a lot hue products which are fitted around the house all have been simple and straightforward to install, sadly this sync box for the price Phillips charge and the inferior cable provided is not worth the money so it's being boxed up and returned for a refund .

Philips home living support specifically.... You service agents are a complete and utter joke. First of all their communication skills are sadly lacking, I understand that English isn't always their first language but having to restate the same points over five times to the extent of S P E L L I N G out my issue really isn't good enough. They are not empowered to resolve your issues AND when you do finally get a resolve they just fob you off with incorrect information that the retailer doesn't recognise/acknowledge. Going forward I will actively chose NOT to purchase a Philips product again :(
