What a fabulous team, Goran and the team absolutely went out of their way to make sure my daughter’s party food was perfect. We really appreciated the excellent customer service. Thanks Goran!

This evening we went for a meal with our two children at Pizza Express in Rochester, our waiter Andre couldn’t have been more wonderful.

He was attentive, had a great sense of humour, knew the menu and met our children’s needs when it came to pudding.

Our food was also delicious.

We had an awful experience in the Brighton Pizza Express. Manager stood talking to chefs all the time and wandering around doing nothing. The food was cold and they put pepper on a child’s pasta dish.

i ordered the dough balls and got hot and squishy dough balls with plentiful amounts of garlic butter, i loved them so much and the staff was truly wonderful, my order was taking instantly and came within 5 minutes. they even had a nice conversation with me while i waited, the location i went to was in south Hampton and i will be going back!

Just had a great meal at Pizza Express in Cribbs Causeway. Really busy, but the staff were very friendly, efficient and we did not have to wait for service. Considering how busy they were- outstanding service by all of the team.

Chaos from start to end. Confusion over membership app menu. Took ages from being seated befire menus, two different servers. One couldn't figure out that the £10 member menu was with two drinks. One guest wanted 2 drinks, total confusion.
Then upon paying 2 x £10 =£20menu plus extra do balls and one drink brought total to £56 .....explained to us ,you have to pay on the app, applied mine , didn't apply 2nd person's total brought down £45.60..... at this point I gave up paid the bill and left.
If anyone can tell me how a Bill that should have been £20 plus a coke, plus do balls comes to £45.60 be warned.

The food was absolutely splendid and for a terrific price, the server, Ryan, was incredibly lovely and was extremely patient and accommodating with our large group of nine. We had an absolute blast and would definitely come back.

Ordered from pizza express on 26/9/2026 only because they had an offer on buy one get one for a £1 was given a time for it to be delivered but didn’t arrive that time 20 minutes late and arrived cold so had to put in oven to warm it up not happy would consider if I would order again for delivery

Ordered for delivery from Pizza Express in Leicester, the delivery was fine, the food was horrifically bad. I have never had anything as awful as this and I have eaten all round the world. The dynamite dough balls were more like badly baked bread smothered in chilli and nothing else, the pizzas were all literal cardboard you honestly could not tell where the box ended and the pizza started. A complete waste and at the price of the better half of a 100 pounds it has to be a crime to be serving food this substandard. It all went in the bin. I now highly doubt Andrew Windsor actually went there because not even he, with all his awfulness, would stoop to the levels of a Pizza Express. This was my first and last encounter. How they are still going is a mystery.

Would be very nice ordering halloumi bites get actual halloumi pieces and not some mix of halloumi and polenta.

The poor manager, young lady insisted that they are actually halloumi. Do we reach the point when restaurants manager have not tryed actual product in their life or just blindly lying to customer?

The lady on Friday or Saturday the smily brunette with hair up who looks a little like Amy Lee.was so personable too.

The tall man who always smiling, hes been there years, I think his culture may be of Asia or surrounding cultures or mine even Italian.

So misleading as you would think it’s a simple offer but NO you cant order this and can’t order that, supplement for this and supplement for that.
Why bother pizza express or is it just to p+++ your customers off!!!

Following our meal for two at the Swindon Outlet branch I left a very negative review on Google. PizzaExpress gave a prompt response, which I suspect was AI generated. I had complained about the amateurish service and I was told that PE does not aspire to ‘fine dining’, their choice of words, not mine. Basically this was a passive aggressive way of telling me that my expectations of a restaurant meal need to be lowered rather than that PE’s performance needs improvement. I was charged £115 for piss poor food, amateurish, slapdash service and a generally mean spirited ‘by feeding you we’re doing you a favour’ attitude and general atmosphere.
Speaking as a pensioner, one positive thing occurred: I noticed that a gratuity had been automatically added, which I deleted, so reducing my bill to a still outrageous and unjustifiable £102. I will NEVER go back!

I don't leave reviews but I felt I had to this time.
We visited this restaurant for my Birthday lunch and we had a very disappointing experience. The attitude of a member so staff "DAN" made us feel as though we were inconveniencing him by choosing to dine at the restaurant rather than being welcomed as customers. The service was extremely poor with significant delays in receiving our food. Our food was left at the pass for an extended period, during which it was clearly getting cold, yet there appeared little urgency from the staff to serve it. We waited 30 mins for our mains and we eventually decided to leave because we did not want cold food. When we mentioned we would leave a review, Dans response was "please go ahead because nothing will come of it and he knew how to deal with bad reviews" We found this attitude particularity disappointing and felt it showed a lack of concern for our feedback as customers.
This was already evident from his attitude, as we entered the restaurant. He believes there are no consequences for his behaviour, which is exactly what he suggested to us at the time.
We ended up in another restaurant that was very welcoming and provided us with an excellent service. Based on our experience, I would recommend considering other options than this Pizza Express.
