I am grateful to Play.ht support team who assisted me in resolving a billing issue due to subscription which can be avoidable. Nevertheless, the customer empathy demonstrated by the support team assures me that should I ever have a need for Play.ht SaaS service in future, I can come back to them.

I have several times tried to get in contact regarding a refund. Play.ht says they have a 24-hour full refund policy. I cancelled within 1 hour but have heard nothing after repeatedly trying to contact them on email. I have also tried contacting them on Facebook. Now I have reported it to my credit card company as fraud.

Ghosting as a problem-solving tactic. I had to involve the BBB just to get Play to respond to my messages or emails after they completely ghosted me to avoid addressing quality complaints. Their voice generators are so underpowered that you often need to render more than 10 times just to get a subpar result, with each attempt eating into your character limit. Support is only responsive when they want you to wait patiently for their services to work. But as soon as you need help to cancel or leave, they disappear and stop responding entirely.

I'm a new client of Play.ht and had some real-time questions. Within my dashboard is a chat icon. Seconds after pressing it, Iram contacted me, and moments later, all my questions had been answered.
It's one thing to have customer support- it's a whole another level to get real-time assistance. Thanks again Iram.

Very robot like still, overall not worth the money. If you cancel your subscription, but still paid for one year, you cannot use the usual extras anymore. They should fix that the one year you paid for is honored. They just resubscribe you if you contact customer service, but even then I could not use the extras. So I just left the whole thing as of now and looking out for a better AI voice creator.

Does everything I needed it to do and more. The way it is able to copy voice is perfect for so many applications!

i tried to upload a 30 minute voice clone of mine..It's been stuck for 3 days now, and i'm unable to deleted it, nor change it.. play ht asks for more money ..from my play desk... Question? is my 100 dollars wasted?
i still have 15 days of plan left...it's good i did not take it for the year.
Customer service is of no help.

I have recently make a video documentary and I have used the text to Voiceover cloning my own voice and it worked perfectly and was tremendous help to my project as there was repeated correction for which I do not have to face lot of trouble. The voice cloning worked perfectly and there was voice speed control and moreover advance voice control - Stability, Similarity & Intensity, which helped a lot to create perfect VoiceOver as per my choice.

I love this software. Probably one of the best cloning softwares out there.

"PlayHt is trash, and they lie to you. I tried both 11lab; PlayHT is cap and poor customer service, and 11 lab costs far too much. PlayHt has an online service. When you talk to them, after about 10 minutes, they will tell you they are offline. Here are the biggest issues I have: when you have your script, it will have a lot of skips and glitches. When you send them a copy of the recorded program, they will lie and say they don't hear it. I wrote a 24 min story and did the test to voice with Playht using a PlayHT voice, not a clone but at lease 4 of there own voiced. There where at lease 1 glitch per min. I tried it on Movavi and CapCut; you hear all the glitches. Also, they have no phone number to call their customer service. You will spend 50% of your time re-editing their junk." You will never get past the automated service to talk to a real person. I asked ChatGPT to give me contact information for PlayHT, but they were not able to provide it. I feel like PlayHT is a scam. Don't bother to call and contact them, You can, but is easy to pay, hard to contact. This problem is been going on for about 2 months. I was shock he see the only Customer Service person BOLDLY lied to me. SCAMMERS. Be very careful with these scammers.

Easy to work with and explained pricing and a solution that would work for me.
