I have been dealing with Prosper for many many years and as usual absolutely fantastic service 😁.
If I could give more than 5 stars I would .
I have had dealings with everyone there and I must admit the service I received from all the staff is 1st class .

Excellent, quick and efficient service. Paul found us a great deal and with Ellie they processed our application very quickly and efficiently. We are really pleased with the outcome and will definitely use Prosper again.

I got introduced to Prosper through an agent, by then they had a lender willing to onboard me and we agreed to work together. The lender then pulled out (which is always a risk) and things started getting downhill from there.

Manish (and Gill) -do not normally use names in my reviews but I feel like it is necessary in this case- sent me an email saying they were looking for another potential lender and ever since have disappeared. Did not return my calls nor replied to my emails. When we first met over the phone, I had specifically asked them to be communicative in case anything goes wrong as I did not want to be in a situation where I do not have a mortgage offer when the completion times comes. I assumed they were still looking for potential lenders after the initial one pulled out, sent another e-mail when eventually the completion statement came through, have not received a response either. They basically could not give me a call (or send me an email at least) saying they could not find a lender and I should try to find another solutuon. I eventuaslly was without any mortgage offers at completion time where my 35% deposit for the flat was at risk. I asked a friend of mine to bail me out with cash eventually which was very lucky.

I found the hiding/irresponsivenes very poor in terms of behaviour and treated it as misconduct on my end. I do not expect a guaranteed offer from any broker however expect respect and integrity. (which they clearly were lacking)

Reply to Paul: Thanks for the update Paul. Just a small note; no they did not inform me about the lender pulling out in fact, I had a refund from the lender to my account all of a sudden and realised there was something going on, asked Manish what was happening and then found out, not that they informed me....I am also fully aware there is not mortgage guarantee, that is not what I criticised as you probably realised. Paul and Ellie have been absolutely amazing after being let down by another lender. Told them I need a mortgage sorted ASAP and they sorted me out within the month, would’ve been less but had Christmas break. Would recommend to anyone looking for a mortgage! Great job

I obtained my mortgage through Ashley who was just incredible. He picked up where another broker failed and literally turned everything around! He successfully secured my mortgage within a good time frame, as well as making sure I was getting the best deal, meaning he switched lenders, so it was right for me, rather than what was quickest for him. I would 100% recommend Ashley and his team to anyone. He's professional, knowledgeable and confident in his ability. When your applying for something like a mortgage, you really do need the right and best people around you! I'm so glad I was introduced to Ashley!

I cannot recommend Sam Nash highly enough! She is super professional, friendly and helpful. Sam made a daunting process very straightforward and there was instant trust and a feeling that you were getting her honest opinions regarding different options rather than a sales pitch. Close to completion we had a few problems getting things over the line and although we had already paid Prosper Homes and finished with getting the loan in place. Sam stepped in to push the mortgage Lender and helped us when we were starting to feel that we were never going to complete. Thank you Sam you provided us with an outstanding service!

Samantha helped us secure a mortgage for Park Lane Finchley development in Eastbourne..
She is professional and helpful goes over and beyond to help in getting information and putting the right things in place..with a lot of efficacy and a smile to go along.. we had our application rejected twice but Samanrha found us yet another provider who approved our application she handled all the complex paperwork and even assisted in securing plan insurances for the houses...Honestly words cannot express how helpful and easy it was working with her...she is a star

I approached Prosper as I was not getting the responses I wanted regarding a re-mortgage from the high street banks or larger mortgage brokers - and glad I did. Paul McMath handled my re-mortgage, listened to my (slightly complex) situation, and very quickly came up with some competitive options, and guided me through the process to complete. He was very responsive by phone and email and overall the process was rather straightforward. I would use Prosper again, certainly.
