The process of accessing some more of my drawdown was very straightforward. The form are easy to understand and the whole process was quick and easy.

The process of the application, now submitted by a third party was slow at times However, overall it was hassle free and straightforward. The cost of third party advice was surprising considering the commission paid by Pure Retirement, to the third party. Having previously applied via a national building society, we prefer the old process. However, risk management and woke has now overtaken common sense.

The procedure to release funds from the agreed drawdown facility is very antiquated and slow. The customer service is not great at all, so make sure that you make any request for funds well in advance to avoid getting caught out. Three weeks minimum is required, which is totally unacceptable in the 21st century.

Good staff, helpful and pleasant to deal with. Had the atmosphere of a small intimate company.

The paperwork is straightforward and subject to some slight delays from the postal service but what always struck as very good was the efficiency and pleasantness
of the staff on the phone.
