I've been using this site since around 2015 and it's been a constant struggle through Quotev banning my accounts for no reason. I don't post activities, I very rarely engage in others aside from liking every now and again. I mainly use it to have a pretty looking profile and keep track of a few things, and well, the whole quiz thing.
Trying to get in touch with anyone is like trying to have a sophisticated conversation with a brick wall that's a sneeze away from collapsing. They will not respond. Ever. Pedophiles get off the hook very easily even through mass flags, mind you open pedophiles that proudly state they're dating a minor on the site, so to see accounts get deleted without warning for no reason is kind of sus. It happens to almost everyone. This has been going on for so long, yet they don't seem to care.

I have been on q for almost a year. This is an okay site to say the best. Sure, you could find some amazing friends, but the cons outweigh the pros.
If you just want to read and write fanfics and meet people who are in your fandom, sure, go ahead it will be fine for you people. But if you actually want to discuss things like political opinions and such, here's what will happen.
Firstly, they delete everyone under 13. And then they track your wifi so that you cannot make a new one. My friend was deleted and another one gave her the account. But that account was banned too. And now the friend who lend her the account has commited suicide because of that. Second, they never delete the people who are actually bad. There has been TONS of callout journals scattered all around q, people report them, yet they never get deleted despite the mounds of evidence. Pedophiles, racists, and homophobes haven't been deleted but the people who reported them were. Third, the updates were terrible. They deleted group search so now there is no way you could connect with other people unless someone puts a link of the group on their page.
Fourth, if you so much as say something a bit offensive AND you still apologised, the people there will STILL report you. Most of the people in fandoms are nice, the others, not so much. They're rude, harrasive, and don't really think about others' feelings at ALL. They will come and harass you and say it's "Educating you" while really they're just calling you a slutbag and stuff like that.
Lastly, the service is TERRIBLE. They don't even reply to you when you file a complaint. I've heard that they also forbid you to call the cops on the admins because of some reason. They are SUPER biased when it comes to right and wrong, like stated earlier.
Would I recommend this site for people who just want to have a good time writing stories, meeting new people, and hanging out in general? Yes. But if you want a completely clean site that is secure and safe for minors, DON'T DO IT!

The administration is so so and doesn't really respond to reports, but the functioning is fairly well made and so long as you keep to basic internet safety you will be absolutely fine.
The way the stories and quizes funtions are super easy to understand and use properly. I am autistic, and it just is super easy to use and it only glitches every blue. The constancy is a comfort for me who struggles with a lack of constants.

I've been on this site for 6 years. 6 whole years and by March 1st next year, 7.
But I am having some very big disagreements with some of the people rating this 5 stars.
You people have been on this for less than 4 months and it's all 'only few mean people' and 'best site' but I disagree.
Quotev has changed a lot in those years and I hate it. I miss the colourful text and fonts, how the homepage used to be, group searches and all of it and it doesn't help the fact that Quotev admins DO NOT respond to your messages when you have a problem. I have an account I lost access to back in 2017 and have tried to ask them to help me but they won't at all.
The chances of getting a response is 0.
They don't listen to the people.
They keep pedophiles and racists on the site while banning or even shadow banning good people trying to get those awful accounts banned.
A way people used to meet was through the groups and since they took the group search away, no one can even come close to meeting new people so thanks a lot there.

I used to think it was 5 stars but because of all the problems and the fact they won't get back to me STILL about my lost profile. I am rating it a 2.

I have been using the site for nearly two years, and I got to be pretty honest, I have mixed feelings.

I'll leave the good stuff first: it's the website I could meet a lot of people and make friends with them. I could also learn a lot of things I never knew before, here's two things I love about this website.

But why two stars only? People who rate this website on 5 stars either don't know what's going on, or they winged the rating. Quotev is definitely flawed, without a shadow of doubt. It has really unprofessional admins. They remove accounts without any reason, including the good people in the site, because quotev has a lot of racists and pedophiles, etc. Then what about the people who post inappropriate stuff? Quotev lets them off the hook. This is one of the reasons why it triggered my mental health so much.

I HATE THE NEW UPDATES! THE HOME CATEGORY IS HIDEOUS! NOE THE GROUPS ARE TOO! CHANGE IT ALL BACK! HERE THE USERS ARE WANTING COLORED FONT FOR MESSAGING AND YET YOU WON'T GIVE IT TO US! PLEASE, UNDO👏YOUR👏TWO👏LAST👏UPDATES👏👏👏👏

As someone who has been using Quotev for 2 years, and I would like to tell that Quotev isn’t exactly the best website ever made for the following reasons : unreasonable disabling. It is a poorly ran website with useless updates but never managed to fix real problems.

Firstly, Quotev IP banned user .saranghae due to a callout journal showing the names of racist people and telling people to block and report them. However she was suddenly IP banned. This matter is utterly ridiculous since she had no intention of advocating harassment and it’s just a collab journal combining everyone’s callout journal.

Just recently, Quotev started deleting people who participate / comment in callout journals on people with inappropriate behaviour. They never managed to delete people who were being really inappropiate, so racists, pedophiles are TYPICAL in quotev since the admins never delete them. Instead they just focused on changing the Terms of Service, causing more good, well-behaved people to be deleted and possibly IP banned.

Thirdly, they have the worst service ever. Quotev never responds every time you message them. The probability of getting a reply from them is 0. That means, if you’re falsely deleted, there’s no rays of hope on getting your account back. Quotev, unlike other websites, never responds. There must be more interaction between the user and the admin.

If there’s a choice, Quotev isn’t worth even one star. I am poorly reviewing this website to my friends and family about the injustice going on in Quotev. Quotev is an absolute nightmare. If the admins doesn’t like something out of you, your account will get disabled automatically.

Honestly I used to love Q, but now it's awful. Like Q admins can do their jobs better. They need to actually look into the reports other than just reporting someone based on how much the number of reports is on someone. And honestly they need to get rid of the reportingoption for having too much accounts. Also they are trying to be Wattpad by the homepage design and I hate it.

THIS IS AN AMAZING SITE!! I would recommend you joining this! There are many young people but most of them are kind hearted once you get to know them. If your worried if there are mean people on this site,don't! Yes there are some mean people but all you have to do is block and report. But Quotev is an awesome site with loads of great books to enjoy and read and I LOVED Rping on here! So if you LOVE to rp,THIS IS THE SITE FOR YOU! My sister was being bullied so I confronted the bully and he told everyone that follows him to report me for standing up for my sister I made a new account bc I was falsely accused. And quotev said I was my old banned account and now my account @acebean is disbaled!

I was wrongly deactivated cause the admins took sides and believed a journal that was made to lie about me

On top of that when i was openly harrassed the quotev admins did NOTHING about it so not only are they rude but they are also corrupted by the amount if lies.

Also i warn you there are so many pedophiles on the website and the asmins do nothing about that either and they prevent you from calling the cops on them for not stopping it.

All together i do not request that anyone is to get the app or go on the website.

As someone who’s been on Quotev for three fourths of a year, it’s good but has some negatives
Quotev is great for meeting people with the same interests, making friends, reading fanfiction or any other books, taking and making quizzes, and more! Some things, however, is that there’s a lot of drama that goes on.
But other than that, Quotev is a great site, just stay out of dilemmas and follow the rules! Thanks for reading

This is the best site ever!!! It is so addictive and I have made friends on quotev. (I know I shouldn’t make friends with strangers, but every friend that you have started off as a stranger to you)

I’m new to Quotev.

I’ve only written a couple chapters on a story that I’m working on and I love it. Especially because there’s a justify option for your test when you write stories.

To me that’s better than having just left center and right options for your text like Wattpad.

I loved it, but I have got suspended twice and am currently at risk of getting suspended again. For no reason.
The first, a bully hacked into my account, so their crap linked to me.
Second, I stood up to a friend who was fake.
Third, honestly, I don't know.
This is pathetic. I have so many friends and even a girlfriend, but I'm at risk of losing them.

Quotev has a dramatic community of roleplaying (can be a good thing or not to you). The best experience I've had is the options for writing advice\critique. However, despite the options for an editor, most of mine haven't been loyal (wouldn't even start for weeks even in the summertime.) Which is another thing supporting the idea that the website resolves around 12-14 year olds. Not to mention majority of the original stories are so awful it's almost pathetic.
However, the quizzes were fun. It's a nice place for people with a lot of fandoms (books, cartoons, anime, ect) to share their interests through roleplaying, fanfiction and groups. The community can be friendly. Someone I met there gradually became my best friend over the years because they edited.

I freaking love Quotev!!! I love the quizzes, the fanfiction, and creating them!! I use it everyday, and I have made some too.
