A great experience with Skoda Botley purchasing our car, staff were very helpful, special shout out to Jeff, Ben, Joe and Adam for their excellent customer service from start to end. We will definitely be returning to purchase our next vehicle here and always use The Richmond Group.

Thanks to Mark Younger for his friendly help and advice while I was searching for a new car. He took the time to explain the car properly and the process was efficient.

All members of staff that we met were extremely helpful and very pleasant nothing was a problem they made the whole experience very relaxed.

We were more than impressed with the service we received The salesman named Joseph understood and answered all our questions with knowledgeable answers made everything easy ,also kept us supplied with coffee nice gesture, we wanted a spare wheel which iwill add was not possible with our last car .no problem at all it was ordered and fitted a couple of days after we had our lovely Scoda car 100% SATISFACTION

I was interested in buying a new car. Joey at Škoda listened to the car specs I was interested in, provided me with lots of information whilst providing a high level of customer service. On purchasing the car took the time to go the last little bits including setting up devices to car and sat nav, which I felt went a long way. Will definitely purchase further Škoda in the future.

Huge shoutout to the team at Richmond Skoda Southampton ! From the moment I walked in, the staff made me feel incredibly welcome. They are knowledgeable, patient, and clearly passionate about what they do. It’s rare to find such a friendly atmosphere paired with great service and good coffee ☕

Leon the main man who fixed my car and niamh at reception, both were great. My car had an error drive fault. Leon was great from asking the right questions to diagnosing and fixing to see the issue resolved quickly. Niamh s communication was top level too. Both were amazing 👏

Had my Skoda karoq 2 year service at the Botley branch, amongst the list of extra work that i was told that should be carried out was the 12v battery needed replacing and would cost £350.
We asked if this was under warranty but was told don’t know. We phoned 6 times and left messages to call us but no one called, I called another department twice and they said they will email the service department to get them to call still no call.
We kept to the booking to have the battery replaced and asked them if this is covered under warranty and was finally told it was.
The car was there all day and got a call to say it is ready to be picked up. We pick up the car and was told after testing the battery again it was now ok, so no need to replace. (Strange it is suddenly ok, now it’s under warranty)
If we had gone ahead with the replacement battery at the time the car was being serviced this would have cost us £350, when there wasn’t anything wrong with it.
Richmond Botley seriously need to improve:
1 Answer the phone or actually get back to their customers.

2. Stop adding extras on when servicing that don’t need doing.

We won’t be going back next year.

Our Skoda Octavia was getting close to the end of it's three year warranty and there was an issue with air flow through the front vents.
We phoned Richmond Skoda Southampton six days before the end of the warranty and explained the issue & also that we wanted it looked at under the warranty.
We were given a date after the warranty expired, but it was confirmed that it would be looked at under the warranty.
The day before it was due in the garage we received a call confirming the appointment, but we were then told there would be a £156 charge to look at the problem & any work needed would need to be paid for.
They refused to honour the warranty, even though the potential fault and the call to book it in had occurred before it had expired and also that the receptionist had confirmed that it would be covered under the warranty.
I asked to speak to a manager and was told his details would be emailed to me. That information was never sent.
A call to Skoda UK was a waste of time as they eventually told us that we would have to pay the £156 and that any repair would be at our own cost.

Sam has been great, both in person and over the phone, coming back to me quickly with responses to questions and sharing different options available. Many thanks!

Joey was amazing, he went above and beyond to help us get the car we love. He wasnt pushy like some car salesman can be. He was clear and understanding of our needs. His honesty was refreshing. He made the whole experience enjoyable
